My son introduced me to this little place. It is tiny inside and usually there's a line to get in on the weekends. The cafe de olla (coffee from the pot) is absolutely delicious! Took me back to how my grandma used to make it. I order that each time Ive been (3). My favorites on the Breakfast menu are: -the chilaquiles with an over medium egg and al pastor or steak with a combo of red and green chile. -the Molletes with al pastor or steak and an over medium egg. They both are so delicious! I haven't tried lunch menu yet, have only gone for breakfast. When they're busy service can be a little slow but it's well worth the wait. read more

The food was really good albeit a little bit expensive. I got the Chilaquiles with green and red chili and chorizo and it had just the right amount of spice and was delicious! I also got the fried ice cream and the flavor was really good but the ice cream was a little more "icy" and less creamy, but it was still super tasty. Only knock I have is that when I got my bill, they charged me extra for the Chorizo and mixing the red and green chili without telling me that was going to happen when I ordered, so it was an expensive lunch, but delicious nonetheless read more

Have been here a couple of times now. Given the neighborhood it's in, it punches way above it's weight class. Definitely a hidden gem that I hope stays around. All of the food I've had is amazing. Even the iced coffee is good. I could definitely see this place blowing-up once more people know about it. I don't know why this place claims it is traditional Mexican style food, it is definitely not traditional Mexican style food. It's more like typical Denver, Mexican food. Kind of bland, small portions, and slightly over priced. Nothing really traditional on there. The omelette I had was I think only two eggs. It was pretty tiny. Other places we frequent for breakfast like Main St., Café or Los Amigos or La Patrona all have giant omelettes for the same price. My son ordered the Denver omelette and it comes with potatoes, which he did not want. He got toast instead and it only came with one piece of toast. L O L. We tried it, but unfortunately, we probably will not be back. We eat out five or six times a week, and this place would not suit our needs because of the quantity of food for the price and the harshness of the interior. Space: small diner/restaurant, don't come with large parties space holds parties of 6ppl or less (family of 8 walked in, they pushed tables together, don't be those people) Service: . Super fast. Very on top of it. Very calm atmosphere and staff. We asked if they would split the menudo into two bowls: no problem. The Cafe de olla is a must! Perfectly sweet, flavorful spiced coffee. Food: menudo was so f'n good. Flavorful, hominy was tender but not mushy, tripe was succulent and unctuous. Chilaquiles: flavorful, green chile was perfect. Slight heat. Great balance. Only critique: food was a little warmish vs nice and hot. The busser refilled water and coffees, and even brought us coffees to go, free of charge. They put our leftover menudo in a to-go container as well. Some of the best food, service, portion sizes, for the price in the entire area. Will definitely be back! read more

All the food was amazing! The albaca pasta was very light and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The chipotle pasta had so much flavor and the enchiladas were the perfect amount of spicy. My husband and I came across this place and tried it on a whim....so incredibly happy that we came in. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. Serving portions were just right. Do not go to this place, it's packed and the place is smaller than my living room, there's only one waitress running crazy all over the place, the food is decent but you may never get sat, because they don't have a seating system to let you know when you are next, so you have to wait outside in the heat waiting for someone to come out and try to snatch that dirty table up. read more

We were a group of 5, and all 5 of us absolutely *loved* the food and service. My friends love Mexican dishes, but me, not so much. So my friends were bowled over that I had chosen a Mexican restaurant for our brunch, but there are non-Mexican dishes on the menu. For the table, we had their Duo (salsa and guacamole) and Chips; the guacamole was *excellent* and even the chips were delicious while the salsa had a medium heat. I had the Breakfast Combo with sausage, eggs over easy, and pancakes. The eggs were truly over easy, the yolks wonderfully runny while the whites were solid. The sausage was perfect, not salty or spicy. The pancakes were not the typical American kind but had a lovely spongey texture and yummy flavor that went well with a bit of jelly. As a tea drinker, I had a choice of teas and had my usual, Earl Grey. All my friends want to come back to Deleite so, when it is my turn again to choose a brunch place, we're coming here (again). read more
