Came to Delaney's while I was in Hong Kong a few weeks ago. There was no one when we first came, but then again, it was only 8:30AM. haha It was nice knowing they were playing the Football from the states here. The service was good, and the food wasn't too bad either. We had the breakfast, sauteed mushrooms, Cesar salad, and the fish and chips. Prices for drinks weren't too bad which was nice. My favorite thing was the mushrooms, didn't really try the other stuff but everyone else said the food was good and the price point was average. read more

Stumbled upon this spot while being a tourist in Hong Kong, needing to charge my phone cause of major gps and camera use. Was only here for a short time but was definitely pleased. Liked the option of a local beer on tap, always down to try local options when I'm traveling. Ordered the fries with curry sauce and it went great with my beers. The server lady was very nice, very helpful to figure out my next destinations in the city. Sure to sneak in again the next time I'm in Hong Kong. read more

I really wanted some pub grub and it was between Gordon Ramsey's London House or Delaney's. The reviews were very mixed for London House but consistently good for Delaney's so I came here. It's easy to find, just exit Tsim Sha Tsui station at iSquare and it's across the street. I came a little after 3pm when their happy hour started. Drinks are 20% off and it goes from 3-7pm. I had a vodka soda and the fish and chips. The drink was strong and refreshing. The fish and chips came out quickly and was well fried and hot. The beer battered was very good, not too thick and stayed crispy even after several healthy dashes of malt vinegar and lemon. The tartar sauce was okay. The chips were also very good. Service was nice but I had to get the server's attention a couple times even though the place wasn't busy. It was fine though. My total bill came to $356HK or about $45.39US which is about average for Hong Kong prices. They have a good looking Irish breakfast for $144HK daily until 5pm so I'm probably going back tomorrow for that. read more

F**king awful. Fish n Chips were from frozen squares of fish, where the beer batter was mushy and separated from the fish. The salmon steak was unimaginably overcooked, horribly dry, and not seasoned in the least. The salmon was accompanied by chips, previously frozen broccoli, and repurposed carrot sticks. In terms of service, the host was genuinely cheerful, however, our server dropped our food and never returned for a quality check or to see if we needed anything (salt, pepper, beer, water, etc.). Was here recently for some meetings and was staying nearby, and wanted to have breakfast and watch a American football game. Came in and place was like a bar in the States. Awesome atmosphere and great staff. Got the English breakfast, which was excellent. Could have used a little more of the meat a d could have been cooked a little more, but otherwise awesome. Would definitely come back when in town. I've heard their food in the evening is great as well, if you are nearby then. read more

Back for a visit after several years. Still good pub food and the Guinness on tap and cold. Seems to have a lot more Asian staff now and saw no Irish. Fish and chips now served in a wooden plank which was a rather difficult way to eat. Still worth the visit. read more

We found this Irish Pub right in the heart of Hong Kong and it was such a treat for St Patty's Day. The servers were wonderful and the food was fantastic. Traditional Irish cuisine and of course the Irish beer was just what we needed to celebrate! I will go back to this pub next time I am in Hong Kong. read more

Pretty nice staff, good selection of beers. Typical adequate bar fare, and some big screens that they put Premier League and NFL on. Got to see chelsea one late evening and some NFL playoffs the next morning. Very eclectic crowd of tourists and expats and a few hong kongers mixed in. My husband and I enjoyed a lovely lunch and a couple pints today. We started with the yummy steak fries and opted for the sweet chili sauce on the side. I had the tomato basil soup which had chunks of tomatoes and was perfectly seasoned. It included two dinner rolls, as well. My husband had the chicken quesadillas, which were served with guacamole and sour cream. He was completely satisfied with his lunch. Our beer was fresh and the service was prompt, attentive and friendly. This is a comfortable Irish Pub, with traditional pub grub. We would definitely recommend. read more

Nice quiet atmosphere, ambience actually reminded me of a true Irish bar (been to my share of), great Irish coffee and Guinness was equally satisfying. The wife had her usual vodka and soda. She was please and said it tasted perfect, lime and all. Free wifi and bartender was super friendly. By the time I left I was faded and decided to buy a counterfeit Hermes belt up the street. The bathroom was huge and clean. Dark atmosphere, exactly what I was looking for after having placed my older for a pair of glasses across the street. I enjoy coming to Delaney's. As a local resident, I enjoy the 'Irish' food. No problem with English here. Food is delicious and the staff are very accommodating. Good price for quantity and quality of food. Their Sunday roast is, in my opinion, the best in HK. Daily specials offer a good selection as well. read more

they do Sunday roast for just 148hkd per person including soup or salad n tea or coffee every Sunday from 12 till midnight. it's a typical English pub with taps, fish n chips n loud music. they do oysters during dinner as well. quite good value I would say. it's about 300hkd per person if u go for dinner! read more

DALANEYS KOWLOON. This little Irish pub located in the basement is a jewel indeed. This bar opens at 8 am and closes around 3 or 4 am. They show all the American sport games on their tvs and they serve alcohol from open to close. THATS RIGHT JAMESON SHOTS AT 8 AM IN THE MORNING. Yes. That's my kind of place. Home from home - with great service from Jean and team, super food, music and craic ! Delaney's is definitely one to add to your list when in HK, tips from the menu ... Nachos are fab, Fajitas excellent and Guinness is as good as anywhere. Also, from the amount of 'Grand Irish Breakfasts' being served this too is a favourite, and you must try the Beef and Guinness pie. Plus no problem if you're a vegetation they will make whatever you want. Place is busy all the time which is always a good sign , but you'll get a seat and the atmosphere is like a pub in Ireland - lively, full of chat and music...Enjoy ! read more

This was a great find (thank you Yelp). We were hungry in Hong Kong, and oddly enough neither of us really felt like asian food, so we found the nearest non-asian place that was close. The streets are confusing in Hong Kong, so while it looked close, I think we walked twice the distance that we were meant to. This is located downstairs (so it is not a store front location), but we found it. When we got in, it was like an Irish pub that you would find most anywhere. We were greeted by this stout (are you still allowed to say stout without being offensive?) asian looking woman with the craziest English accent. She made my night. It was a double take moment. We ordered two serves of the bangers and mash, and two beers (one of the specials they have on their menu) and it was fantastic. Great food, fun atmosphere and hit the spot. When in Hong Kong near the Sheraton, be sure to check this place out. read more

After 4 days in Hong Kong, we were ready for a western meal and Delaney's certainly fit the bill! The food was piping hot and fresh. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We visited Delaney's for both breakfast and dinner and neither disapointed! Don't expect anything fancy. Delaney's is a clean, casual restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere.
