Can't beat the service here, the staff was super friendly and very accommodative of our group of 11. She was happy to bring samples of beer and different wing sauces to let me contour my meal just the way I wanted it. I really do not like maybach beers but theirs had a gold medal award assigned to it so I went ahead and got it and it might be the best maybach I've ever had. We visited the brewhaus because of the better reviews than other restaurants in the area. We were very disappointed. Everything was poorly done. Our server, Summer, seemed aloof the entire visit. Everything our server did took forever. We didn't get our drink order until 10 minutes after sitting down and the our food order wasn't taken until 25 minutes after sitting down. Summer had no recommendations, no announced specials, no real personality. We placed our order and the food came about 25 minutes later. The food was nothing special. I had the Frankenburger which was bland and just a burger. My wife also had a burger which was bleh. The burger here for $11.95 should be better than Culvers. They weren't. The service should be more personable. It wasn't. Next time through Delafield, I will find a different place to dine and take my family. read more

I've been going here for years and it never Occurred to me that I should review this place. I've always had good service here. The menu is pretty good and the food is consistent. They make a good bloody and the beer selection is definitely my style. The growlers are a bit pricey though. But that's really my only complaint! I've got 30 years in the business so while I can't be shocked any longer I can still be surprised. And this place suprised me, but not in a good way. We sat at table 16 on Wednedsay night 7/20. The strip steak was pretty good and so was the blackened grouper. However, everythng else was . . . ugh. The beer sampler was pedestrian and the service was more humorous than offending, like you just couldn't believe it. We ordered quesadilla roll ups to start. There were 5 on the plate. Shortly therafter, our waitress (Kathy?) showed up with 1 more, sitting on a coffee saucer(!), and explained that 1 of them had fallen on the floor on her way out of the kitchen. We were waiting for "and so I had the cook make one more", but that was it, and we were left to wonder if that 6th one was the one that fell on the floor (and about the 5-second rule!). Soup or salad came with our dinner. She brought them when were were half way done with the appetizer. We were half way done with our soup and salad when she brought our entrees. I mean, WTF was the big rush? We were not asked if we wanted a 2nd drink, nor was my wonderful date's water refilled until after I had given her mine to share. Meanwhile, the bus boy reset the table next to us and knocked over the salt shaker onto the newly reset table. He just stood it back up but did not wipe off the salt that was now scattered about the clean table. We could see the salt crystals glistening. The waitress seemed quite disappointed when we ordered a dessert to share. She dropped the check immediately afterward, a la George Webb. The coup de grace was when we were about half way through the dessert, which was nothing special, and she asked us to pay the check BECAUSE HER SHIFT WAS OVER!!!!! (it was about 8:15). I had never heard that one before. Lord that was funny, in fact, so funny that I couldn't even be mad. I paid with a credit card but we left a cash tip on the table. Her final unprofessional act was to pick up the book, open it at the host stand, and make a face because the tip was on the table so she'd have to wait until we left. The hostess, an elderly woman, seemed apathetic and walked gingerly as if she had sore feet. Not quite sure what she was doing in this occupation. Also she failed to turn around to say goodnight or acknowledge our patronage as we left. It was a fitting final touch. So, to those in the business, if you are not expecting anything and need a good laugh, this is the place for you. I may come back one day if I am feeling a bit down. read more

Just tried this place twice in the past two weeks. Had appetizers on a Saturday night and they were just okay. Went to brunch this past Sunday and it was awful. All they serve is the brunch, no breakfast menu to order from. The wait staff looked tired and messy. The omlet my friend had was okay, made to order, however the crepe was rubbery and the fruit inside was still frozen even though it was made while I waited. The pastry was displayed poorly, it looked old and dried out. Pie slices were sloppy on the plate. I ended up eating a box of frosted flakes for my $10.95. Maybe it is just a place to go for beer. read more

Absolutely, positively, indisputably okay. My girlfriend's parents live out in Delafield and we used to really enjoy going to the Brewhaus, especially when other family and/or friends were in town, but we haven't been in awhile. The truth of the matter is that this place LOOKS great. From both the road and the nearby freeway, it looks like a beacon of fun and togetherness that is just waiting to create fond memories of an evening filled with beer and food. Inside is a similar vibe as well. There are televisions for sports fans, but not so many that it loses its feel as an actual restaurant rather than just another sports bar. The beer is great and I love all the variety that they have. Where they lose me, and I imagine many others, is the food. It's just not very good. The burgers are honestly worse than a lot of places that I don't have very high standards for, like Applebee's. The appetizers are okay, but once again, nothing special. The pizzas are poor, the fish fry is also mediocre. There's just nothing positive to say about the food. I feel like the best strategy for enjoying the Brewhaus is getting a group of friends or family together, going out and having a good time, having a few of their good beers in their fun environment, and then having a few more beers to the point that being drunk allows you to enjoy the food. We went here for a rehearsal dinner recently, and really enjoyed ourselves. They seem to hire some very nice people. We had the upper level for our party, and they had a pasta making station. The food was very good, and I especially liked the Caesar salad and the olive cream sauce. I want to go back just to get a bucket of that sauce actually! All the beers I tried were good, and some had a fairly high alcohol content. I have always liked this place, and I want to stop back to try the nachos. We've been here several times now and I finally have to leave this mediocre review. This restaurant is a nice place. They have very friendly staff, good service, and great beer. The food is just meh, other than the beer cheese soup which is awesome. Every time we come, the food is consistently bland. We always leave feeling slightly ripped off for what we got. We have eaten lunches, fish fries and brunch here. One of our favorites are the breaded mushrooms. The brunch is reasonably priced and you don't need to dress up to come to this restaurant - casual is just fine. I haven't been here in about 10 years. The food was always amazing. Yesterday we went there for graduation dinner and the food was terrible. The burgers were over cooked and so was the salmon. The beer and the food are so bland. We tried the beer sampler and all you could taste was the water and the yeast. The pizza had more cheese than I had ever had on a pizza and the sauce was very tomato-y. We couldn't taste the sweet potato fries through all the salt. The fish sandwich was actually good. 3.11.15. We both ordered the fish fry. The breading was extremely greasy and the fish had no taste. The tarter sauce had no taste and too much mayo. They don't serve potato pancakes or a choice except for fries. The marble bread was old and hard. No soup or salad was offered and the cost was $9.95. We also ordered their special mozzarella wontons and I was so disappointed. The cheese was hard and the stick had no taste except for hard cheese. This place has become one of our favorite places to eat. My wife and I have been here 5 times in the last 6 months, each time ordering something different. Not only have we always left here satisfied, we usually rave about the food. Service has been excellent each time from every server. I'm not sure what a couple of the other reviewers experienced but I've had the fish fry and burger and both were excellent. The burger left me craving another the next day. I guess the worst thing I can say is that I've had a better Sunday brunch. But that also usually cost 40% more. I will continue to patronize this business and refer it to friends. read more

We used to love going to the Delafield Brewhaus, but our last couple experiences there have not been good. The muffaletta pizza was the best...but unfortunately only a temporary menu item. The cheese curds are also great. Ww went to Delafield Brewhaus for Taco Tuesday, and were quite disappointed. I got the carne asada fajitas and my husband got a chicken burrito. My fajitas had great flavoring (for the peppers and onions) and definitely came out sizzling, BUT the 'carne asada' had definitely been cooked well before (hours?/days?) it was added to the 'skillet' and was chunks of beef rather than slices. We're talking 2x2x2 inch or longer in some cases. Several of the pieces of beef were also heavily fatty - greater than 70% fat in several large pieces - ugg! The chicken in my husband's burrito was very dry, indicating that it had also been precooked hours before making his burrito, and also had very little taste. read more

I have been to the Delafield Brewhaus several times with my family and with friends. It's got a good sized menu with a good variety for everyone. The food is good. Pretty standards. It's really big inside and because of that, it loses some of it's cozyness. It does have nice secluded side rooms each with a large table that seats 14 or so. The micro brewery beers are very good and they have a separate bar area. The most recent time we went there, there was a band that was so loud, that we couldn't even hear eachother while seated in the bar area. Bit of a negative, but everything else is good. read more

Beer was tasty, food arrived quickly, presentation was good. I ordered a wood-fired pizza that was delicious, someone else ordered the sausage dish that looked great.
