Del Taco to the rescue! you guys have saved me more than once! the food is always fresh and the wait times at the drive thru is always short. Also when I ask for sauce to go with my order it's always with a smile. My daughter ordered a cheese burger and fries to my surprise tasted pretty good. And yes they never messed up our order either. So if your staying across the street at the Marriot and you have the munchies this is the place to come to. One other note their fish tacos are great too! read more

My trip to southern California last week marked the first time I'd ever had Del Taco. After disembarking our plane at Bob Hope Airport, we took the five minute walk to Del Taco, got lunch, and hopped on our train to Oxnard ... It was incredibly convenient and easy. I'm not ashamed to say I found the food pretty dern tasty. The carne asada taco came with a fresh wedge of lime, which I appreciated, and with the addition of a Del Scorcho sauce packet it was American taco perfection. The chipotle chicken burrito was also tasty, if not lacking some spice/heat (I would say the same for classic chicken burrito), but that's why they have the different sauces, I suppose. Mostly I just like that you can taste the freshness in the ingredients ... Not that they're some artisinal tacqueria, but they're a good two or three steps above Taco Bell. At least they're mashing avocados and shredding cheese daily. If I'm going to eat fast food tacos, I'd rather eat here. read more

I am not one to usually write reviews on big chains, just because there are so many and the food and service is usually the same across the board, but something happened to me at this Del taco today that warranted me breaking my rule. I go to this Del Taco at least three times a week, its right by work and I love their nacho crunch burrito, no sour cream, no nacho cheese, with chipotle sauce instead. There is something about the crunch and creaminess when I bite into it. I always order the same thing, sometimes ill add a taco, or fries, or cookies. All their food is great, I would eat all of it, but then that would mean I would also be 300lbs so I have to eat it in moderation. And 1 burrito is moderation if you consider the fact its mainly protein and i'm not getting anything else. Any who, I walked in today, and orders my usual. The staff already knows me. When he gave me my price, I reached for my wallet which was not there, I had left it at the office! Damn it! I had walked over, which is a 10 min walk, before I could walk away the guy said, "its ok, you always come here you can just pay me next time." I used to work at a fast food place many years ago, and this normally doesn't happen. If you forget your wallet, sorry you are out of luck! I know that the fact that I am a frequent customer came into play, but even then I consider this a great experience and will continue to give them my business and I recommend you visit them as well. read more

Del Taco has some great deals for October in what they're calling Tacoberfest! First off they're introducing the Taco Deluxe with extra cheese, fresh salsa, and sour cream! They're pretty darn great for 89 cents! Also Del Taco is doing 2 for 4 deals on Big Fat Tacos and Big Fat Crispy Chicken tacos! The Original Big Fat tacos are amazing if you've never had them...you may just think it's a regular chicken or steak taco on a thicker tortilla, but they do a few things to make them extra special like using the sauce they use in chicken soft tacos for the steak big fat taco for a great original taste, and spicy sonora sauce for the chicken soft taco...Get one of each and you're only spending 4 buckaroos! Beans were not seasoned correctly. So they tasted like cardboard. Also The "plato's" are a waste. Just stick to the Tacos.

I like this location because it is conveniently close to where I live, and so now I no longer have to drive all the way down to Verdugo to get my fix. The deals they have on Tuesdays and Thursdays are great. And hopefully the 39 cent taco deal will last because on a given Thursday, I can get 3 chicken soft tacos and 3 regular tacos for about $3.50. The burgers are pretty darn tasty, too. Plenty of good stuff! Staff has always been good to me here and this new location rocks. I recommend stopping by! read more

So cheap! Coming from the East coast, Del Taco was a bit of a revelation for me. It resides somewhere between the ubiquitous low brow fast food chains with their pasty refried beans, gluing every dish together, and the fancy-pants chains common in LA, and unfortunately too pricey an everyday lunch in a recession. Enter Del Taco. You can come in with a buck or two and leave full. And you likely won't have to pay the price in digestive distress later. I work at the airport so it is convenient for me to grab a pre-work snack at this Del location. I always get the Classic Chicken Burrito and maybe a Quesadilla or a Soft Taco. Never disappoints me. I'm a DEL lover. read more

This is an update... I couldn't resist. I went back to see if there was an improvement. Well, my tacos were perfect! No broken shells! Lots of extra cheese in neatly prepared tacos. I also noticed that the paper wrapping was correct. Thank you Del Taco - I'm so happy to come back! read more

It's a fast food chain but, it can still have extremely positive aspects worth noting. The workers who hand over what you just ordered are just faceless cogs in a giant fast food machine. They, the workers, have no control over how the business is operated. They do have control over one aspect, they're attitude. This particular Del Taco (Burbank Airport) has one of the nicest persons I've encountered at a drive-thru window and in person at the counter. ok, I've seen some really cheap ass quesadillas that were made, but tonight, at this particular Del Taco, I feel as though I got robbed, shafted, bamboozled, hood winked... I've been eating the spicy jack quesadillas forever & they have never, in any location in the greater Los Angeles area, have I paid for & to be given grilled tortillas... ok, there is cheese in there, but you can see the picture yourself, have any of you ever had this little cheese in quesadilla...? I mean, it actually felt like tortillas in that wrapper... no weight at all, once again, look at the picture...! now, did the cook fuck up...? is the cook told to make it like this..? I'm gonna say no cuz I've gotten this shit here before & it had cheese in it. did they fuck with my food cuz I didn't want french fries with my spicy jack quesadilla..? I dunno... what I do know is, this shit is fucked up. I work hard for my minimum wage salary (ok, I make more than minimum wage, but that's not the point), I work hard & would like my food consistently made... which until today, it was... very disappointing becuz I rarely get to eat dairy foods & today is my cheat day... but, I mean, I guess I can cheat again tomorrow cuz there is no cheese in my quesadilla... Sometimes I drive out of my way to get breakfast here and they're not open! This happens a lot. Are you 24 hours like you say on-line or not? If not, say so! Some people go out of their way because it's the nearest Del Taco that's open early for breakfast. Get your act together! I've driven out of my way four times only to have the guy say, "uh...we're not open. I don't have my bank. The cook called in and there's no back-up." Who runs this place????? Amateur hour. We had 4 hours to kill before our flight out of Burbank, so we left the airport and walked over to Del Taco. And it is easy to do, it is only about 5 minutes walking from the terminal. Nice. We tried a sample of a bunch of things: a steak and guac burrito, a special shrimp taco and then a chicken verde taco. The chicken was only decent, but I am a bit embarrassed how much I liked the shrimp taco and the burrito. And sure, fast food steak is bad enough for a burrito, but it also had french fries stuffed into it, lol. But it was great nevertheless. I also liked that they kept a basket of the sauce packets on each table. You don't have to worry about grabbing too many or getting up 30 times. If you are trapped at the airport this is a great find! It is also super close to the Burbank Amtrak Station so you could walk here from there as well. I'm not sure it has won me over from Taco Bell though. Both are still solid, but I might side with Del Taco because of the shrimp taco... I'd never eat seafood from TB :) read more

Worst experience today. I went to the drive-thru to place my order. Spent $58. The shakes had barely any whip cream so I had to ask for a little more; it was very little I had to ask. Whip cream was added and we were good. So I get home and I had missing fries on a combo. I drive back cause a burger without fries wasn't an option as I paid for the combo. I get there and let Donay Mata, Manager, know of the incident and she had dismissed my claim and said no ma'am I did that order and I put both fries in the bag. I said I'm sorry but the fries were not in the bag, it's raining so please know it wasnt fun coming back but I had to since it's part of an order that I paid for. She then said bring the food to prove it. I left it at home but again I wouldn't of driven back in the rain just to come up on free fries. She then decided to speak in Spanish to her coworkers as if I wasnt there and mocking me on my claim. Another Male employee came to her defense and I said I just want my fucking fries and the manager, Donay said oh no, you are for sure not getting your fries now. I had to call the Burbank Police Dept due to the unbelievable customer service and they had to help me get her name to write a proper complaint. This used to be my go to Del Taco when the one off of Alameda shut down and is now a Starbucks but I had to stop coming here because their nachos consistently getting worse. The chips were stale and bitter last time I went. And the fries which are normally pretty good here started tasting off as well. Maybe change the oil more regularly. Anyways, that was it for me which is sad because the only other fast food nacho spot is Taco Bell and theirs are usually not any better. read more

Whether it's late night munchies or needing a quick bite, Of The Taco is great. The soft shell tacos and green burritos are the best. The service at this location is second to none. I'm floored! The owner of the business just dropped by my work and delivered me and my boss a couple different burritos for us to hand out to everyone at our business. I only post reviews when a restaurant has an impact on me, good or bad. I come here to eat for lunch about 2-3 times a week. Every time I come the staff is very friendly. The staff is like a well oiled machine, everything goes very smoothly and their communication is remarkable! The cashier named Travis, always greets everyone very friendly not just me. He even offers me a cup for water every time. I don't drink soda so I find that to be a nice gesture. Over great experience every time I come here. Definitely going to continue coming here for lunch when I'm craving well done bean and cheese burritos with green sauce. read more

This might be my first fast food review ever. Thats saying something in itself. The service here elevates the food because the experience is so good. Very good customer service that is always fast and efficient. I work near buy and go there often and the food is good and hot and its nice and fresh every time I go. Ordered a macho beef burrito with shredded beef. It took them three tries to make it correct and still forgot the sour cream

Went here for dinner...thru the drive-thru. I got the Macho Burrito combo (monster sized). Monster sized drink and fries were no joke! The burrito itself was ok. I could have used more pico and I don't think mine had any sour cream inside. The fries were good. Reminded me of White Castle fries back, which were always good in NY. They are very quick and helpful. We would have as few modifications to our order and they were always accurate. The only problem I had was that our jalapeno poppers were left out of our order one time but the manager was very nice and offered to replace them the next time that I came in. They are very close to the airport and to the car rental garage. The drive through is usually very quick. And any time that I have eaten in, it has been clean and inviting. read more

You get alot of food at Del Taco for the money, a good value...simple food....something for everyone. The fish tacos were huge as was the Del Tacos and the Polo Avocado Bowl, could not eat it all.
