I had the Cali burrito with asada. Everything on its own was very fresh and flavorful. Leaving I saw an order of French fries and I think next time I'll get them on the side. They were big crinkle cut fries. They do have a little salsa bar as you normally see in Mexican restaurants. They didn't have the traditional pickled carrots and radishes. There were fresh cucumber slices, lemons, onion/cilantro and red and green salsa. I only tried the green salsa and it was bueno! Flavor and just a little kick of heat. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Very casual, "fast food" type restaurant. The tables were all clean but very retro with the hard benches. The guy taking our order was super nice and helpful since it was my first time. Muy guapo tambien. I only went here because we were in the same parking lot for a YE event. There's one closer to my house that I might try. If the service isn't as good, I'll definitely drive back to NoHo. The Tia who probably made my burrito and brought it out asked if I wanted it cut in half. I love that type of extra care and attention. read more

Excellent customer service I was greeted with a smile by Maria & Blanca. As soon as I came into the establishment, bathroom was immaculately clean, and so was the whole facility. This place is amazing. The food was delicious, hot and fresh and the ambience alone sets a record. I highly recommend this location. I give them 5 stars 10 plus ! T-Mobile Chris!! read more

Decadent delicioso Daniel's Tacos! This one of two locations eatery is located of Cahuenga Blvd and Collins Street just north of Burbank Blvd in the NoHo Green Village plaza along with Ari's Pet Grooming , Moby's Coffee & Tea, The Juice Parlor and more. They have a wide size shared parking lot in the cool little plaza and some good seating inside. The service is stellar and they do a lot of pickup/takeout and delivery. The flow was non-stop when we stopped in for a pre-outing meal. Daniel's has an extensive vegetarian menu which can be view online (all of which can be made vegan friendly sin queso, leche y huevos). When you step in you'll notice mostly a simple menu board with pics of all their popular items which was a little confusing for me since I knew they had so much more online. The guy who helped us was pretty awesome and even guided us to their small salsa bar on the right once we ordered. It was tacos for my friend Shaun and a savory burrito for me. The beverages are fresh como el come (like the eats). Your choice of fountain style drinks including iced tea (team this on a warm day), horchata, jamaica and their orange bang Agua Fresca, which Shaun enjoyed. It's booth style seating maintaining as well as some standard tables and chairs. It's very well kept up and run. A full menu on display even on the counter would be ideal, even if it was simply taped on top of the counter as I'm sure takeout menus would go fast here. Daniel's has combos, plates, bowls, tortas, sopes, mulitas and more. And D.Ts. keeps it simple with casual decor and friendly service. They're abiertos everyday from 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM, extended hours on Friday and Saturday until midnight. read more

The staff was very nice and friendly. So this review has nothing to do with the service. It's super hot in here and there is way too much fat in thier pastor meat. Also, I've had better flavored pastor meat meat literally everywhere I've eaten except here. You are better off getting from a taco stand. I threw away most of my plate because every bite had fat in it, soft and/or hard. These tortillas also don't look or taste like they are "hecha a mano" which means hand made. I could be wrong though because I don't eat hand made tortillas often. You can't serve your own drinks, so no refills, the rice and beans are ok. I did like the fact that they have a "salsa bar" but they only have two kinds of salsa, cucumbers, limes, radishes, and onion with cilantro. They have one bathroom which was very clean and smelled very nice. read more

Daniel's Tacos - They keep it really hot in there, that's so awful not just to customers but to their poor employees. - Mexican Near Me - North Hollywood, California

Daniel's Tacos - BURRITO CALIFORNIA - Mexican Near Me - North Hollywood, California

Very rude and not friendly to customers Dirty restaurant, dirty parking lot, dirty clothes on employees. Which explains why so many reviews say they have gotten sick after eating here. I'm surprised they aren't out of business yet. I know they can't be making a profit, especially how the giant man with a beard treats customers. Good luck staying in business read more

Great place and always reliable. Hits the spot every time. Burrito and tacos combo is a go-to.

that food was amazing you need to come here!!! ‍‍ service was amazing it felt like family

I ordered a simple bean &cheese burrito. Afterwards i had an upset stomach for 12 hrs. I spoke to others who work near by and who have eaten their food. They claim they experienced the same symptoms after eating similar food items, therefore they now avoid Daniels for food, but might get a drink due to convenience. The taste wasnt bad. I can only wonder if the cook is touching uncooked meat and possibly preparing other food items at the same time without gloves or handwashing and cross contaminating meals? read more

My favorite meal at Daniel's Tacos is the 4 cabeza taco special with an horchata drink. The pictures of the tacos I believe would not do them justice, but the cabeza is very tender and tasty! Because of that, I have not tried the various other menu options. Fairly priced, fast and friendly service, and plenty of plaza parking. read more

Pros: cheap prices, plenty of parking, clean tables, friendly service & fair amount of meat. Cons: The food is very bland and taste unseasoned. My asada burrito was just Meh. I definitely wouldn't order again. I'll give this place another chance because the prices are so good. Daniel's Tacos is open for breakfast,so maybe I will try a breakfast burrito in the future. read more

The food is a tier below mid. Greasy and stale. And the price doesn't do it any favors. Save your money and go somewhere else lol

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. HERES WHY: I ordered a TOSTADA and FRIES over the phone. I ordered the fries EXTRA CRISPY, NOT FULLY cooked. The tostada shell WAS flexible. No crisp. It's like chewing gum. They're NOT BUSY...is it really hard to make FOOD TO ORDER when YOU'RE NOT BUSY? $18 for TWO horrible items! Stay away. Go somewhere else read more

2020.05-15/1645: I can't believe I haven't left a review as many times as we've ordered from here!! The food is DELICIOUS ! I really love their mulitas! We had Carne Asada mulitas, with avocado, Al Pastor tacos and a California burrito. Their quality of food is consistent and always cooked to perfection. I have the worst allergy in the world to tomatoes and they NEVER disappoint. No cross contamination because I will know. Never has been an issue here and this is another reason why we love Daniel's Tacos!!!!!!! You will not be disappointed! Their food is so good that you can reheat it (if you have leftovers) the next day or so and it tastes so FRESH! We will always be faithful customers to Daniel's Tacos! read more

Had a great cheap meal here! $21 for two solid orders. The four taco special and the loaded fries The chicken was well seasoned. The carnitas was my favorite. The flour was the right amount. The bar with the salsa made the tacos juicy and tasty with a little kick The loaded fries has had a good sauce. Could use a little more meat and less fries. Fast service Overall enjoyed the quick trip to Daniels Tacos read more

Bad Quality beef and chicken, you can tell the meat is not fresh. The corn tortillas are fat in width and taste bad like their meat. Do not recommend this place. Our go to burrito spot! Great food, fast, nice people, absolutely recommend. California burrito here is a must!

Driving back from Burbank I was craving Mexican food, and without using my trusty Yelp app I decided to go rogue and find a place on my own and landed on Daniel's which I already liked the place, because its my name :) Parking there is ample as this location is in a small strip mall. When you first walk in you are greeted with a menu board up above with a lot of delicious options. I asked the guy at the counter for a few recommendations which I found him to be super helpful and very patient. I ended up ordering the Chicken Bowl which I found to be AAAAAA MAZING! First off all the prices you can't beat.. nothing was really over $10, and the amount of food definitely filled me a guy who can eat a lot. The chicken was nicely seasoned mixed with the rice and fresh salsa. I will say it did take a bit longer than expected. The dining room was no frills, but I didn't expect much as the prices and the quality food compensated for the lack of decor. Overall, next time I'm in the area I will be making a trip to Daniel's. read more

Wow. What a great surprise this place was. The staff was super friendly and the food great. I did the three taco plate. Then, hit the salsa bar. Everything was fresh. Inside is a no frills space. Clean, just pretty basic. But goodness sakes, the staff is so friendly and helpful that they make a no-frills a super-frills, if there is such a thing. read more

Daniels Tacos was highly recommended to me by a friend, so I made the trip over from Pasadena to find out what it is all about. On first appearances Daniels is one of those taco joints that doesnt stand out from crowd, but once we walked through the door, we were greeted by a friendly cashier who gave us a few recommendations for popular menu items. In addition to the popular items, he also recommended a few of his favorites which lead me to ordering the Pastor Mulita. I've never had a Mulita before and had no idea what I've been missing out on in life. It wasn't a normal tortilla, it was a bit thicker and made to order and was delivered to the table hot and fluffy. It was full of pastor with diced onions and cilantro and was absolutely cooked to perfection. My girlfriend went for the California Burrito with carne asada which was also very tasty. The red hot sauce had a great flavor but was spicy so try with caution! The green salsa tasted great as well and wasn't as en fuego , so that was my go to. Very grateful for my friends recommendation to try out Daniels Tacos and even though it is a drive, will definitely be making it back! read more

Got the chicken nachos and California burrito. Both were delicious! I'll definitely come back.

Taco Tuesday ! We love their taco Tuesday ! I got 3 pollo tacos, rice and beans, as well as the 2 for $1.99 churros. The tacos were delicious and the rice and beans were tasty as well. I think it looks better than it actually is. Other than that, it doesn't taste authentic. Just fast food. The chips were good but overly greasy and the cheese wasn't melted. Also, it wasn't the typical jack cheese. The beans and chicken were just meh, and although the guacamole was probably the most authentic item on the plate, I didn't like it. Presentation is nice and nice portion size but food was just bland. This review was wrongfully under one of the other locations from when I ate there back in October 2018. read more
