If you're on the hunt for a seriously satisfying wet burrito, Las Fuentes absolutely delivers--and…read morethen some. From the moment your plate hits the table, you can tell you're in for something special. The burrito is massive, perfectly wrapped, and completely smothered in a rich, flavorful sauce that strikes that ideal balance between bold and comforting. Every bite is loaded with well-seasoned meat, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of cheese melted over the top. What really sets Las Fuentes apart is the depth of flavor. The sauce isn't just an afterthought--it's the star, tying everything together with a savory, slightly tangy kick that keeps you coming back for more. The rice and beans on the side are just as impressive, clearly made with care and not just filler on the plate. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the overall experience feels authentic and satisfying. Whether you're a wet burrito lover or trying one for the first time, this spot will raise your standards. Las Fuentes isn't just good--it's the kind of place you start craving the second you leave. The inside has a great Spanish decor.

The service and vibe were also amazing. I was so disappointed in the food and service! I ordered a tostada (besides my better judgement of ordering what I typically do, which is a gringo style wet burrito). I specifically asked the cashier if it came in the fried shell bowl. She said yes and that I can choose between flour or corn. I asked if the size or look were different, and she said no, so I ordered corn. It came out as a plate of just unseasoned mess. The carnitas were extremely dry and had no flavor, despite drowning it in whatever sauces were available. My husband's plate is what he normally gets too, carne asada plate. Dry and no flavor. A nearby table received their order and they also ordered a tostada that came with the shell. I asked the waitress (who was the same lady to took our order) what they ordered and she said tostada. When I told them mine came out the way it did, she said that was my fault for ordering corn. I felt that it was misleading despite me asking questions. She said she will bring out a flour tostada. I was fine up until this point because it was a simple mistake on both our ends. However, another waitress who brought out the flour tostada started speaking to me in Spanish, then repeated in English "this is flour, this is corn (while pointing at my plate)" in the most condescending manner. I will never go back here and I understand why the ratings have gone down significantly. They opened another location in Chatsworth, with worse ratings and I can confidently say I will never go back nor recommend it to anyone!

One of my favorite places to eat!…read more I love the beans and tortilla chips they place at the table as you look through the menu. They also have a self serve salsa bar. Overall, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, it's all so tasty and affordable for the amount of food they serve. Something I find odd is how big and chunky their pico de gallo is but honestly I don't mind it lol Tip: if you don't mind sitting outside, do that. It tends to get very smoky inside since people frequently order fajitas (which come out sizzling hot every time). Parking can sometimes be a struggle depending on how busy it gets. Oh and if you could, pay in cash. They add a little extra to cover transaction fees.

Unfortunately, the prices have skyrocketed. I guess it's a sign of the times like a lot of places. S&B used to be known for good Mexican food at an affordable price. The food is still delicious (I love their beans and bean dip, and my bf really likes their rice). Just not in love with these prices. To get the most value, if you order one of the burritos, you can easily split it into two meals because they're pretty big. Got the chicken fajita burrito and had half for lunch yesterday and today. Suddenly, an almost $25 burrito turns into a couple of lunches for under $15.

I have been meaning to try this restaurant for quite some time now and finally got the chance to…read more Went there to celebrate my mothers birthday. Let's start off with location wise it's very centrally located in the valley so you can get to it fairly quick. Parking was not it's best. It is on Ventura Blvd so street parking is very difficult. They do have onsite parking in the back but there's only about 5 spots only and it seems like most of them are take either by staff or delivery vehicles. Now walking into this place you are def transported into a very lively Mexican culture that is undeniably amazing. I loved the decor and how you just feel at home. They are playing music the whole time loud enough for you to feel the vibes but still be able to have conversations. Now the food let me just say 10/10. I had the mole the presentation is amazing and the taste of it is even better. My fiancé had the aguachiles con mango which he says are also a 10/10. Finally my mother ordered the queso birria tacos which were pretty good as well. The margarita flight was def my favorite, I am not a big margarita fan as they tend to be a bit sweet for my liking but these were actually pretty well balanced and delicious. Overall I had a great experience the service was good. Will def be coming back and will recommend.

Came in last night to celebrate a friend's birthday (they have happy hour all day Mon-Wed) and was pleasantly surprised. My friends started off ordering the HH guava margaritas, which they enjoyed. I ordered the coconut margarita (not on HH) a must !!!! Not overwhelmingly sweet and tasty! We ordered and rated the following dishes: Guacamole: 9/10 HH tinga Nachos: 7.5/10 (flavor was there but most chips were burnt) HH Taquitos papas: 9/10 great flavor and sauce HH steak tacos: 7.5/10 the corn and portion of meat to the taco was very good. The steak a little well done for my liking. Enchiladas verde: 9/10 great portion honestly enough for two to share. Rice and beans were okay. Beans a bit salty and rice was a bit bland. Would definitely come back for the apps and drinks! They also have brunch which looks like fun.

Parking: This location has a free private lot in the back,…read morethe parking spots are tight, but I was able to fit my truck into one of the spots. 4 stars Staff: You have to walk up to the stand to give your order, the staff were fine. I ordered, they gave me a number and asked that I sit down and wait at a table, then they brought my food out. 4 stars. Food: This is the best Mexican food I have had in California so far. I'm on a diet right now, so I've been trying to eat less, but I pigged out at this place, very good food. 5 stars. Bathrooms: Everything worked, not the cleanest though.. 3 stars. Ambiance: Light music in the background, this location is great for conversation meals with friends and family, not super fancy place, but it's relaxed, so a good place for a chill date. 4 stars. I've been to this restaurant several times. Most recently, i stopped by last Saturday…read more This place has become my favorite Mexican restaurant. When I come here, I usually order the cheese enchiladas. They're the best I've ever had. Perfect flavor, cheesiness, and consistency (thickness/density). This time around, I decided to try out something different, the Carne Asada plate. It was fantastic. Usually, restaurants use cheaper cuts of meat like skirt or flank steak for their carne asada. Maybe I'm losing my mind, but the carne asada I had looked and tasted a lot like ribeye steak, which happens to be my favorite cut of beef. For my drink, I had the horchata like I normally do. The horchata here is something special. It's thicker and creamier than your average horchata and packs a cinnamon punch. The only knock on this place is the parking situation. There's limited parking relative to the size of the establishment. You may have to find street parking around the park nearby. But don't let something like that discourage you from checking this place out. This place is worth it. I drive up to the Valley from the South Bay just to visit this restaurant.
