The Lobster pasta is popular and two people with me really liked it but didn't quite love it. Very good, not great. I had the veal chop and it was excellent. Loved it. The other diner had the swordfish and she thought it was really good but she would probably try something else the next time. Service was amazing even though the food was a bit slow to arrive. We had a creme brûlée with blueberry dessert which was very good. We were having too much fun so I forgot to take pictures after the appetizers. We will go back for sure. I'm pretty disappointed with Del Mar. I wanted so badly to love the experience and the ambiance, but my expectations were not met. We have had our reservation for a month plus now as this is opening weekend. We show up before our time slot, and are sat at a high top around the bar. Right off the bat - these tables should be for walk-ins. It's loud, crowded, and chaotic. There's so many beautiful areas in the restaurant, and they knew it was our anniversary and continued to sit us in the worst area in my opinion. It didn't help that the table beside us, a four high top, had two extra individuals in their party. It was 6 people squeezed around the table, baring into our space. Not enjoyable. We sat down at 6:55. We ordered a bottle of wine. This bottle of wine did not arrive to our table until 7:22. Seriously? We had ordered tatziki and octopus before that. The tatziki had finally come, but the portion was silly. Two small pieces of "pita". To me - that is some dough baked in an oven. If you want real pita, go to a real Greek restaurant. You would laugh once you had this. Anyways, to get veggies instead of pita, it's an extra $6 on top of top of the price. We didn't order, but definitely could've used with the sad pita. The octopus was literally one tentacle. For $24, I would NOT recommend this app. This barely fed two people, and would be sad for any group larger. It tasted good, but could've used a crostini or veggie to help with the extremely tiny portion. Our waitress Nicole really tried her best with what she could control. She noticed the area we were sat in was super loud and crowded, so without asking, she asked if we would like to move. We gladly agreed and we were moved to the patio. I really appreciate that she did this for us. The octopus did take forever though. It didn't come out until 8:03. Keep in mind, we ordered probably around 7:10. Not great. For our mains I had the salmon and my boyfriend had the lobster spaghetti. He loved the sauce and felt the portion was good. My salmon was good, but the 4 pieces of cauliflower were sad. Come on. The food was just okay. I am no where near dying to go back and overall, had a very disappointing and very forgettable anniversary dinner. I don't think I'd come back. I understand it's new and they're working out the kinks, but nothing was amazing and is wanting me to try again for the price we paid. I would've had a better experience at Cafe Istanbul a couple hundred feet away. Or the many Greek restaurants in the northern side of cbus. You may be briefly mistaken that this is a Mediterranean seaside yacht club only to be reminded this is Ohio as a lifted pickup truck rumbles through the valet circle. Tuesday opening night was bustling. But the staff were prepared and well rehearsed. The appetizers are great for sharing. The chilled vegetables are a great way to enjoy the dips if you don't want to have too many of the fresh pitas. Tzatziki and baba ghanoush were good. The whole grilled branzino was light, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Of course the lobster spaghetti tasted great and was presented thoughtfully. I'd skip the Turkish frappe next time. Impeccable views and feelings for this new restaurant at Easton! We had a beautiful table upstairs with a view of looking over the fountain. Our server was amazing at first going through the whole menu with us and making sure we were enjoying our apps. By the end of the night we barely saw him and wasn't sure if our server switched tables or on a break. I got the lamp meatballs and beet salad with a glass of wine. This restaurant has tons of seafood, fresh dishes and even Mediterranean dishes too. I split the hummus as an app and got the pistachio baklava for dessert. Went to Del Mar for my birthday dinner. I usually have a great experience here but unfortunately not this time. The food was great however our waitress was not. I have worked in the food service industry so I know how hard it can be especially if your day is not going well but my party and I were all pretty disappointed. She rarely stopped by to check on us to the point that twice we had to look for her to get a refill on drinks or a box which she never returned with. She was very rude and would walk away before we could ask for a refill or another set of silverware. When we were seated we were told I would get a free dessert but we were charged for it. When we told her that we were supposed to get my dessert for free because it was my birthday she rolled her eyes and seemed agitated. Because of this I felt like an inconvenience that I just paid for it so we could just leave. I'm guessing because gratuity was included because there was 5 of us she didn't care to try or be friendly but if you're celebrating something special I suggest you go somewhere else. read more

First, decor is striking: the downstairs lounge and dining room has a distinct feel from the lighter, brighter upstairs, but both feature beautiful bars and interesting visual accents (like indoor greenery and trees). Went early on a Friday evening, and were a little disappointed to find out that the happy hour only was in the lounge and not in the dining room where we had been seated (I wish we had known that before we sat down or we probably would have asked for a lounge seat). Service was also a little slow at first, but it eventually picked up and our server was friendly throughout. The menu is quite expensive, especially the mains, but portions are also fairly large so you could get away with splitting salads or other dishes and still being satisfied. The dips and freshly made pita were delicious (the pita was piping hot when it came to our table and truly had just been baked). The lobster spaghetti had generous portions of lobster in it (and was plated to convey an interesting visual--see photo!) and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Many seafood options. FINALLY got to check out Delmar at Easton! We made reservations about a month ago. It was everything! Beautifully made! Valet parking in the front with a fountain view. It has a nice wrap around bar and an upstairs as well. The food was a 10/10. We got their cocktails (beach party & ginger fizz), they nailed them. We got the seafood platter (small) and it was amazing! I would definitely order that again! We ordered half a dozen oysters to try and they were delicious. I got the lobster spaghetti and it was worth it because you get half a Maine lobster and you really can't go wrong with spaghetti. A friend recommended the Branzino (fish) and it was very flavorful! This is my second visit, first for dinner. We made reservations and upon arrival were taken to our table. The staff at the front desk was nice & welcoming. The restaurant was redone from a previous restaurant and is nicely decorated. I loved the mushroom & onion flatbread from my first visit so much I ordered it again for dinner. I typically order steak at these type of restaurants but at this one I enjoy their flatbread. This shocks my husband. His had the lobster & pasta and enjoyed it. He said it was good and had a bit of spicy taste to it. He loves spicy food so this was a great dish for him. My husband enjoyed a $30 glass of wine that he said was well worth the price. I enjoyed the beach party spritzer. It was a good drink but not sure it was worth $17. We will be back again. read more

From the attentive staff, the grand decorations, to the outstanding food, this place sets the tone for a great restaurant. Pro tip: try to get seating upstairs as the glass ceiling really brightens up the room. We came in for a couple of drinks and some appetizers. The craft drink menu was fantastic and had a ton of great options. Anytime there is blue cheese olives mentioned, that's what I'm getting 100% of the time. You know you have a good bartender when you can see the end of the toothpick due to overloading it with olives! The spicy feta dip was really nice as it came with some nice soft pita to dip with. The ham crostini was nice and crisp and the ham was delicately smoked. The star of the show was the date pull apart bread with the pistachio butter.
