I made an appointment for my lashes, I was supposed to get the classic lash but the technician recommended the express set which is $99. The lashes quality just okay, it's so thin. When I look closely on my lashes there were gaps, that's wasn't filled properly. I also got brow tinting, for $29. I was surprised when the tech did it, she didn't even clean and shaped my brows. At the other place that I used to go, it was included for $25. I asked her I wanted to get my brows cleaned and shaped, and so she did. When I was ready to pay, I am surprised how much my total was. Oh btw, the shaping is another $24. The tech was extremely nice but I wasn't satisfied on her work. I had to ask her that I needed my brows to be trim this and that. I was in an impulsive situation to get a lash lift and the owner was able to accomodate me even though I was trying to book last minute on a friday. When I got into my appointment, the studio wasn't really hard to find and I was accomodated right away to sign in. I only waited for less that 15 mins because the lash tech went out for lunch which was understandable and it wasn't really that big of a deal. She has super sweet and gentle, with an overall peaceful vibe. She has long hair and a butterfly tattoo on her hand if that helps lol. In terms of the results -- I am super happy. They offered to fix it for $160 which is a big discount considering their prices. When I went back they didn't bother looking at my lashes they instead started adding lashes (the wrong type btw) and got to the middle of my eye and said my lashes were really damaged and if they continued to add to it I was risking them falling out again. I decided not to go through with it but I think I would have saved an hour of my time if they would have inspected my lashes from the beginning of that visit. ---- It's never too late to make it right. I usually never like leaving negative reviews for businesses because I understand that mistakes happen and that lash techs only want the best for their client. However I was left really unhappy after my appointment and left the place crying because of what happened. I went in for lash and eyelash tint today and I had no issues with the actual services, but the lash tech accidentally got dark brown tint in my (very light) blonde hair. She did not tell me that she made this mistake when it happened and didn't even tell me when the appointment was over. I saw when I was in my car that my bangs had a brown splotch in them and I went back into the salon where they told me they can remove it. The lady spent less than 10 minutes trying to get it out and then basically just told me they can't get it out and to use purple shampoo to do it myself. I was really upset and started crying because this is a huge visible blotch in the hair that's right in front of my face and that I can't just easily hide. It was super obvious and just looked really really bad. I understand that this was a mistake and I'm not the kind of person to become angry at employees or demand a refund. However I found it super unprofessional that these techs just leave their clients with no options for a mistake that they caused. I paid for a service that left me having to go home and buy more things to fix their mistake. Anyone knows that hair is an important part of your appearance and having to leave the salon with a big mark on my hair was really upsetting. The lash tech should have used proper precautions so that the product wouldn't get in my hair or anywhere else it shouldn't be, that is not my responsibility. I was also upset that she did not care to tell me what she did and I had to find out myself. It almost felt like she just hoped I wouldn't notice it :/ I had to go purchase and use Color Oops on my hair to get the stain out which costs money and is also really damaging. I am very happy with my recent brow lamination & tint and classic lash set from Deka lash. This was my first time at Deka Lash and first time getting brow lamination and tint. Brows: I think they were done by Vanessa? My brows were bushier than I realized (they were hard to see to begin with) so I ended up getting them threaded elsewhere after to make them thinner. I REALLY like how nice my eyebrows look now. I can brush them up to look more feathered, or brush them across to look more natural and they stay put! The color should also get toned down as time goes on. I will post a picture in a week to update Lashes: I got a full classic set in the babydoll style by Amy. They look better than I was expecting and are exactly what I wanted- beautiful without looking too fake. Overall: I will be getting a membership to keep up the lashes and I will also be getting the lamination done again. My experience here was "meh". I was able to conveniently schedule my appointment online for Sunday at 9am - perfect! My husband would be home, he could watch our 6 month old, and I could squeeze in something for me. Upon arriving, I noticed their hours posted on their door said they open at 10am on Sundays, and no one was in the shop -_- I waited 8 mins and was about to drive back home when I saw someone pull into the parking lot and unlock the door. When I went inside, it seemed like she was rushing and didn't welcome me nor apologize for the late start. Given the number of texts and email reminders I received for the appointment, I'd expect the same courtesy from lash artists. They also charge if you don't show to your appointment, which was the only reason I was waiting - didn't want them to show up late then charge me for not being there. Also! They make it clear that clients must wear masks, which I'm fine with. But the lash artist herself wasn't masked? Hmm.. The appointment itself was fine. I wish my lashes (got a lash perm + tint) were more curled, but I guess I should've clarified that. A bit hesitant to go back based on my first experience here. Extremely disappointed with their service and quality of their products. After getting their TrueXpress full set on Monday, they are already starting to fall off after the 2nd day. The lash technician and their application was very poor. Usually lash extensions last for more than a 2-3 weeks. I've never had mine last for less than a 2 days. The gel and the lashes they use are high quality. I highly recommend this place. They have affordable prices, a texting appointment reminder system, and comfy lounge chairs. The AC is blasting (due to the drying of the glue) so wear warm clothes. They even offer you a blanket in which I highly recommend. Andie makes me feel so comfortable and walks me through each step. Tried out a classic medium full set of lashes and I love how it looks!! My technician was Amy, and she was super friendly and gentle. This was my first time doing extensions and I wasn't sure what to expect, but the salon was relaxing and comfortable (a blanket on my chair, they play music and I was able to wear headphones and listen to podcasts). It is quite long (almost two hours) for the treatment, so I recommend making sure you've eaten and gone to the restroom before your session starts. Overall a great experience and i'd totally go back! It was my first time getting my lashes tinted and lifted. They probably did the best they could but I only noticed very minimal change. The artist was very nice and explained the process as it went. The only draw back was myself and another later client were never greeted when we went in. We both had to eventually call out. They had a bell for when the door opened. read more

The whole experience was okay, but it was my first time getting lash life so I wasn't sure what to expect. I noticed when my technician was taking the lift stuff off she only squirted water on my right eye. I thought it was a little weird but didn't think too much about it. When I saw the results, I noticed that my right lashes were drooping a little compared to my left side. Again, I wasn't sure if it was just me since I haven't had experience with a lash lift before. Originally, I had come in for a lash lift and tint but since my lashes are black we agreed that a tint probably wouldn't have much effect. When I was paying, she asked to see my yelp discount since I was offered a discounted rate on yelp. I was quoted for $79 for a lash lift and $95 for a lift and tint. However, when I showed her the message, she told me it was going to be $90 since we only did the lift. I didn't want any trouble so I just paid and left a tip too, but I wish she had mentioned this earlier because I probably would've gone with the lift and tint anyways since it would have only been $5 more. Updated review: The business did reach out to me through text apologizing for my experience and asking when I could come in to get a "redo" of my lash lift. I was asked to "hold on" to (take down) my review until resolving the issue. Initially I agreed and decided upon a date. After further research into lifts, I didn't feel comfortable with the likelihood of more damage to my lashes with a second lift a week after the first. I asked instead if I could do lash extensions (to avoid a second round of the lift chemicals so soon), but was told I could come in and pay the difference to get them. Unfortunately I don't agree; I wanted a lash lift, but feel unsafe about getting another, so I'd only be getting the extensions to cover the current state of my lashes. I understand they have a business to run, I'm sure others have had great results, and I appreciate that they'd reached out to me to resolve the issue, but unfortunately I have lost enough confidence in this business to choose elsewhere when getting lashes next time. Originally posted May 29: Before today, I'd had lash extensions done, but today was my first lash lift and tint; I cannot say that I'd do it again (at least at this location) based on today's results. I had let my lash artist know that I was more concerned with having them lifted rather than curled. Upon seeing them in the mirror immediately after the session, they looked okay enough, but I admittedly should have taken the time to look at them more carefully. The end result that I noticed when I got home: my left eyelashes are somewhat curled toward the center while the outer lashes are only slightly lifted and mostly straight; my right eyelashes are lifted well enough, but noticably darker than the left side. Both sides have unfortunate "kinking" of a few lashes. I am pretty upset considering I'd looked forward to my first lash lift and took the time to search through numerous businesses and reviews only to get these results. I wanted to wait to post a review until maybe 24 hour post-lift to see if there would be any change, but I'm so disappointed about these results. I'm not impressed... I've never had my lashes done before. So I decided to try it out. I gave it a few sessions but had a lot of fallout each time. The owners are helpful in explaining different ways to keep the longevity of the lash, but every instruction I followed didn't help. When they were brand new, it looked great, but even the next day or two there were spots where the lash had fallen off. Not my natural lash shed, just the extension. I was careful to clean and brush every day, I didn't wear makeup or get them wet. So I'm not sure what happened. For the price of the service, I was disappointed.
