Being unhappy with your service doesn't mean someone is trying to scam you!
Reply to the owner's comment: The service is $105, $85 + $20, please don't lie. If the service was only $65 I wouldn't be so upset about the result. I am not good at confrontation, so I contacted you within 24 hours, what's the problem? I visited on 26th afternoon, contacted you 27th. Not days after, please, please stop lying. I specifically booked this appointment because I was promised a lash set designed for my monolid and hooded eyes. I traveled a long distance and spent three hours in the chair for the application. The final result was completely different from what was promised, causing discomfort, irritation, and an unsatisfactory look. Who's the scam? I asked for refund since I was upset initially, I asked for your solution and you didn't reply, why I want to get a free service if I get them removed the next day?
09/29 Update: After I left a factual review, they refused to help me, so I went to another lash artist to have the lashes removed. She was surprised that they used black glue on brown lashes and that the glue was too gummy, causing 3-4 lashes to stick together. I'm glad this is finally over, as the way the lashes were applied was unhealthy, and the glue seemed cheap and could have damaged my natural lashes over time.
09/28: The ladies here are very nice, but unfortunately my lash application process was very painful. Several times my natural lashes were pulled, and I felt sharp pain on my eyelids. The process took three hours, but because of the discomfort, it felt very long and difficult to endure.
Before booking, I mentioned I have monolid/hooded eyes and asked if anime lashes would suit me. I was told that they will choose a set specially designed for my eyes. I trusted them, and traveled four hours by BART to get there. When I arrived, I asked again, and Jade said it would be fine.
At first, the application was comfortable and I even fell asleep, but later I was jolted awake multiple times from the sharp pain of my lashes being pulled.
When the lashes were finished, about one-third of my vision was blocked. Several extensions were applied too close to my eyelids, which made closing my eyes painful. The artist removed one of the most uncomfortable ones, but by the next morning, all the lashes are messed up, I still had multiple lashes that were too close, causing irritation and itching.
Most disappointing to me, the design was not flattering at all for my hooded eyes, it made them look puffier and harsher.
I contacted the salon afterward and considered letting Jade fix them, but after how painful the first process was, I no longer felt safe going back. I was really upset and originally asked for a refund, but knowing that the artist spent time and effort, I was willing to discuss another resolution. However, the business stopped responding to me. read more
