I used Caliber Collision in Grapevine, Tx in the past and they were great. Caliber Collision in Argyle was new, and distance was a lot closer so chose to go there. All I wanted was my car fixed out of this accident and nothing more. I didn't want to deal with the party's insurance, and this is where I went TERRIBLY wrong. I told the insurance company to send the check directly to Caliber once the work was done. HUGE mistake. I worked with Damon and he said nothing is wrong with the glove compartment. Well, a month later it still pops open every time I go over a small bump in the road. It hasn't rained so I'm hoping what he said about the sunroof is correct, nothing wrong. Well, I had a flap behind a tire fall off and this was told on day 1. Part was even in the trunk, and insurance knew and received photos. Well, this part was not fixed and the part from my trunk was removed. I mentioned it to Damon on the day of pick up and he said he would get the part ordered, let me know when it comes in, and put it on. Well, they received their check and it's a month later and never heard back from Damon. I think it's safe to assume the part never got ordered or got lost. It's my fault and thank the man above it's not too expensive. I will just purchase the part and have it put on myself. So, lesson here is never pay until completely satisfied. Don't have insurance send check directly to Caliber in Argyle. Though it was my fault I will never use them again nor recommend this location.

After two hours passed, I was told it wasn't ready and that they needed two more. Two hours later, I called again and was told it would take one more hour. After waiting a total of five hours, I finally picked up my car -- only to find it looked almost exactly the same as when I dropped it off, maybe even a bit worse. There were still fingerprints on the screen, hair in the cup holders, dust on the rear windows, and the engine bay hadn't been touched. I also noticed the engine was warm, and the mileage had gone down by about 10 miles, which is extremely concerning for a detailing service. On top of that, there was a new odd mark on the hood that wasn't there before. When I asked about a discount due to all of this, they declined and still charged me $200. I later followed up with a text and was just left on read, with no explanation or apology. Between the wasted time, questionable handling of my car, lack of professionalism, and poor results, I absolutely would not recommend this place.

I have had three vehicles repaired by hailfighters after two different storms. My experiences were…read morelargely positive. I'm giving them 4/5 stars because the quality of the work they did for me was exceptional and they only need to work on communications and scheduling. I was not surprised to read many critical reviews focusing at least in part on scheduling. This is a small shop that has a large shop customer base. You are not going to have an easy time getting on their calendar. Larger shops not only have more capacity for completing work, they've got more parking and are comfortable letting your car rot on their lot waiting for them to get to it. Hailfighters is a small shop with limited capacity for parking cars. The result is they'll get you in when they can actually start the work. If I could wave a magic wand and change one thing about my experiences, it would be scheduling. And I'm not talking about their customers cars. I'm talking about themselves. All three vehicles they repaired had one negative experience in common. My insurer became frustrated scheduling estimates only to show up to a closed shop. That all said, work was fantastic and customer service was superb, lack of regular hours and scheduling issues aside.
