This latest excursion was starkly different from the last time I visited. The sales floor was full of merchandise, employees were readily available for assistance, and the check-out process was smooth sailing. I did need to ask an employee where to find athletic wear as I needed shorts for the gym. Not only did they answer my question, they walked me over to the appropriate area of the store. Most places nowdays simply point to where merchandise is located. Not Cabela's! What a great way to go above and beyond in customer service. There are waterfalls and streams outside the store and inside the store. You can buy almost anything for the outdoors here. They have an amazing selection of everything they carry whether it be boats, sunglasses, fishing gear, hunting gear, boating supplies, hiking gear, dog supplies, you name it! They have a huge sale going on right now that takes another 50% off everything they already hade marked down. There were hiking booklets that started at almost $200.00 that were on sale for $35.00. I don't even need or want another pair of hiking boots, but at that price, guess what? I came home with another pair of hiking boots! Lol!! My dogs got some new chew toys out of the deal too. They had those at great prices, not even on sale! The service was good too. They had knowledgeable people helping out in the various departments throughout the store. This place is huge--two floors of sporting goods wonderland with a giant fish tank arch on the first floor!
