Would give 10 stars if it would let me! I walked in with the least amount of silencer/suppressor education but Tim & the dudes set me up for success! They walked me through the process step by step with the utmost patience while answering every single one of my questions! (In person & over the phone) I had to of called Tim 10x asking little questions here & there & not once did he ever come off as condescending or annoyed! They clearly don't understand NFA laws, nor have they adapted to eFile. Without getting into details, if you buy a silencer and use eForms (through Silencer Shop or directly through the FFL/SOT), neither you nor your dealer will get a "hard copy" in the mail. It's an "electronicForm" aka eForm for a reason. They can log into their eForms.atf.gov account and see approved form 4s, or they can accept a printed copy from the transferee. I'm not claiming the switch to eForms has been perfect or easy, but it's not calculus and electrical engineering level stuff. Read some instructions. Call ATF. Don't lie or hold your ground based upon your best guess. You'll get burned to the ground. Oh that's right, you already are.... read more

Awesome Place and Great Staff! I recently moved to this area and had a pretty negative experience at the first gun shop I visited (they oversold, overcharged, and took advantage of my "inexperience" with gun shops/ranges). Needless to say, I was a little weary when I decided to visit Lead Heads. But I was pleasantly surprised with the great experience I had here. Taylor and his team showed me what a gun-buying experience SHOULD be like. He was respectful, helpful (without trying to upsell me), and got me set up with everything I needed for a great EDC pistol. I was a very regular customer here spent over 5k easy, both times I went to have my scopes mounted I had to bring them back due to there poor attention to detail and improperly mounting both scopes torqued with the adjustment knob squished on my tail, ruined one of my scopes, had to bring both back in so they could correct them, took a shotgun barrel there that I bought from them to have the beef removed got my barrel back discolored from torching it and they couldn't get it out and last but not least after almost 6 months of not receiving a top plate for my pistol I also got there still no product I will definitely be taking my business to a professional gun shop/smith in the future and wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I had somewhat of an idea of what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend went I went in and luckily Taylor (the owner) spent quite a bit of time with me, being very patient, to help me choose the handgun that was right for me. He was friendly, knew his stuff and didn't try to upsell me into more expensive guns. I had done a lot of research on the Internet and Lead Heads LLC is priced very competitive plus you get the expertise of a retired vet. That is a big draw for me, buying from a store owned and run by retired veterans. When this place first opened (it's right nextdoor to Mr. Jim's Pizza) I didn't know it was there until my dad and I stopped in to pick up a to go order at Mr. Jim's. Of course, seeing a gun store that was new naturally we had to go in and look around real quick. The employee (who I believe is the owner) asked what brought us in today. My dad jokingly said "pizza" and elaborated that we had a to go order waiting next door. The employee (again I believe it was the owner) rolled his eyes, shook his head, and sighed. He then turned around and ignored us the rest of the time there (only customers in the store). I actually saw something there that I would have come back for and bought from him but, felt like if he treats customers that way then why should I give him my business.
