Upon arrival I was greeted and we agreed that with $ 5000 my car will be fixed and didn't bargain regarding pricing at all. After two week the car was ready and before accepting the job I did check the car and I see the engine light of the car is on!!? The owner which has no clue and history of running a business as mechanic shop tells me that don't worry I know people who can pass your car through inspection!!!! I said noooo!! This is not the way it works. We make a deal I have paid you what you asked I this needs to be fixed. He said that my mechanic say the issue is not related to you radiator fan and etc .. that you brought your car for!! And the added extra charge for changing the O2 sensor , after two weeks I noticed there is an oil leak under my car in the parking lot garage, and took the car back, owner says it not related to your accident that oil filter leaks, which all were related because my radiator was punctured, well there it is another charge for oil filter washerin two week so have to bring the car back because the temperature gauge is above normal!! He too much rely on his mechanic since he purchased the business from previous owner with the mechanic and he wants to keep the mechanic for this reason against my workweek another charge for oil filter washer also my head lights which were replaced had too much blind spot and whatever they to fix I t failed and I did accept. After another two week that started to make a squeaky noise which I had to have the mechanic to listen when I was moving the car when was Turner off , and found out when were the front bumper and radiator the did not secure the battery harness when fixing the front of the car. Making the story short with all the problems with paining and more the going back to the shop after 12 times to the shop even on time which the owner told the mechanic to check my vehicle and he said he can't because he didn't like me since I was making the right comments!! I did gave it way even the owner Ray made a comment the he will buy me a complimentary gift so I forget all the issues that happened. The assistant manager (Ashton) is well aware of all pain and suffering that I have been through. I did thank them and refused to ask for any thing. The last word of the owner was that I knew that you were trouble from the beginning (I wish people who runs a business had a clue what they are getting in). So so today after two years I just wanted how respectful they are and I had a problem with my other car, called the owner and he said I don't have time this week (we are fully booked)and I since it's not and urgent matter it can want for next week and he never responded back.. I did test this business for two times and they failed. I do not recommend this business since they are looking for easy and lucrative jobs.

Along with a full repaint, there were a number of small to medium maintenance things that needed doing, re surfacing the interior ceiling with new cloth, fixing some minor body issues, polishing and clearing up my head lamps. It was a lot of work, and took about a month - but when I got my car back on the other end I almost didn't recognize it. My daughter was involved in a car accident over a weekend, and because Caliber Collision was…read moreclosed, the towing company--owned by NTX Motorworks--took her vehicle to its holding facility. The following Monday, I contacted NTX Motorworks and authorized them to tow the vehicle from their facility to Caliber Collision. I specifically chose not to have NTX Motorworks repair the vehicle because they were out of network. What followed was an absolutely outrageous experience. NTX Motorworks charged the insurance company $1,500 for a tow. State Farm considered that charge highly excessive and essentially a price gouge, which required additional approvals before payment could be issued. Because of this, the process took more than a week. During that time, NTX Motorworks charged a $135-per-day storage fee, totaling $1,350. They also added a $900 administrative fee and another 3% fee simply for accepting a virtual credit card payment. They refused to accept an ACH payment directly from State Farm. Total bill: $3,750--for a simple tow and storage. And then comes the cherry on top: they lost my daughter's car key.

I reached out to them YET AGAIN after another week and instead of communicating about my vehicle she wanted to argue about the bad review I left stating they attempted to call me. I printed out my phone logs just to further prove my point that during this entire fiasco they have attempted to call me only once. I sat in their office having a face-to-face conversation with them stating that the cosmetics mean nothing to me I need my vehicle to operate mechanically and safely just as it did before I was hit. Weeks go by and still no word. Once again I call them and I was told was that they completed cosmetic work prior to even looking at the mechanical work and were still waiting to assess the mechanical portion. On what planet would a mechanical shop perform cosmetic work prior to any mechanical work?! What if the car is totaled? I mean, I'm just a mechanic too, What do I know? We have now started a brand new year. It's a week in to 2025 and the last time I have heard about my car was at the beginning of December. If you want your car fixed correctly and in a timely manner, do not bring your car here.. I wouldn't wish this place on my enemies. Lessons learned.

RUN, don't walk, AWAY from this repair shop!! They are no longer owned by the same family that…read morestarted the business back in 1987. The previous owner passed away in 2021 and the former manager (who worked mostly with the customers) is no longer with the company either. A completely different family owns Tx Body Works now and based on my recent experience, do not appear to take the same care with their customers that the previous leadership did. The treatment was like night and day. Extremely disappointing! We dropped the car off on 6/13/23 due to extensive damage caused by the hail storm here in North Texas on 5/19/23. When told our car would be ready for pick up on 9/08/23, we arrived to find it in the condition shown in the attached pictures. When we were told the car would be delivered to us on 9/14/23 the following week, it was not delivered at the time promised and was still not completely ready by the time we drove to Carrollton to pick it up. While the work performed on our vehicle was ok and it looks nice (I cannot fault the team actually working on the cars), it took 3 months for our hail repairs to be completed. The communication from everyone we encountered at TX Body Works left a lot to be desired, to say the least. When I called, I always got the answering service, never a person in their front office. I called and left at least 5 messages with the answering service in the 3 months they had my car and they never once returned ANY of my calls. My daughter called requesting updates on her car and she was ignored as well. The only person who ever received a return call was my husband, and even then he only received a couple of calls with updates from TBW the entire time they had our car. When I resorted to email for updates, they did not respond to that communication either. Requesting a copy of my detailed, itemized statement/invoice went ignored for weeks until I let them know I would be filing a complaint with my insurance company. When they did finally respond after multiple requests, it was very defensive with a lot of excuses, mostly for personal reasons that had nothing to do with the repair of my vehicle. I completely understand going through insurance and the claim process takes time, especially now in our post-Covid world. However, being secretive about the process, being told "one more thing is needed for insurance approval then your car will be ready", and seeing a completely different list of additional items being claimed for repairs is another. Examples: Astronomical hours of labor being charged - original estimate 23 hrs for body work vs actual 90 hrs; a $500 windshield (that they broke!) was charged to insurance for almost $1,700!! Our insurance company (a large national company) has been made aware of our concerns and the TX Attorney General and TX Department of Insurance will be notified as well. Consumer Beware!!
