Momma Mia, this place is bellissimo! Step into DeEva and you will NEVER want to leave! You are normally greeted by one of the 2 owners who have the most welcoming personalities. You instantly get the feel like you are dining as part of the family! The happy hour is phenomenal, & you can't beat the prices with a bat! All Day happy hour on WED ladies! So if you need a girl's day to complain about your companions head on over & get responsibly tipsy! Haha. Let's get into the food! The meat ball sliders are delicious & a generous size. I've had the Chicken Parmesan and it was seasoned to perfection! The mouth watering Chicken & Shrimp Dama Bianca will have you licking the plate. Yuuuum. But don't blame me if you keep coming back to DeEva for more & gain 5 more pasta pounds! Lol. PS: Always save room for the tiramisu! If you are looking for authentic Italian that is delightful & wont break the bank please give them a try! Tell em Cherri sent ya! If you're thinking of going anywhere else " Fuggeddaboudit"* in my mafia voice* This restaurant is #BarbieApproved

10/10 to everything, the restaurant was gorgeous, prices were reasonable for an upscale restaurant, quick service, happy hour all day weds, delicious drinks and food, even the bathroom was immaculate and smelled great. This was my first time coming and i will definitely be back. See the pics for what we ordered. For a dinner for two, it was $90 before tip, which was two entrees, bread, appetizer and three drinks. We had so much leftovers too

    Bruschetta- Absoluty fresh and delicious!

A beautiful italian gem in Plano! With great lunch, happy hour and dinner options! We were greeted by the staff working with smiles. Great prompt service with check-ins during our time present! The food (*mushrooms, calamari, *bruchetta) was absolutely rich in flavor! The drink options very diverse! From wine to old fashions to cocktails! Happy hour (M-F: 2-6/All Day Wednesday) was great we will return matter of fact today 11/27/25!

A Limoncello cheers to end the night!

If you're in search of an authentic Italian dining experience nestled right in the heart West Plano, look no further than DeEva. When Dennis's parents decided to retire from Amore Dennis and his wife Eva took over the restaurant and revamped the inside and the menu. The ambiance is fresh bright and inviting with a nice bar and several Tables inside and out. The staff and service were exceptional. Warm, friendly, and attentive, they go out of their way to make your dining experience truly memorable. From knowledgeable waitstaff who are more than happy to offer recommendations, to the speedy service, every detail is attended to with a smile. The menu is fabulous-- way too many items look amazing . We started our night with two glasses of wine and truffle Fries that were out of this world. For mains, we had the Saltimbocca - a veal scaloppini with prosciutto and sage in a white wine an butter sauce and the linguini Frutti di Mare-- with clams mussels calamari and shrimp---they were both short of perfection. Special mention must go to the Osso Buco and the Red Snapper that is on our list to try. Despite the high quality of the food and service --entrees remain reasonably priced-- everything is under $30 and many items are under $20.Portions are generous, and you certainly get value for money. DeEva is a gem in our neighborhood that offers an unparalleled Italian dining experience. Whether you're a fan of classic Italian dishes or looking to try something new, this restaurant will not disappoint. It's the perfect place to relax, enjoy great food, and feel right at home. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop in for a meal that will transport you straight to the heart of Italy. Buon appetito!

We had hopes to have a close to home Italian go to spot. Sadly we were disappointed. My boyfriend got the house cab and it tasted like it had been open for a while. (The place was pretty empty so no clue how long it would take them to get through a bottle.) The house bread was homemade and we enjoyed it. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and shrimp that was supposed to be in a brandy cream sauce. It tasted like a normal Alfredo - nothing special and no sights of brandy. I ordered the blackened scallop Alfredo. It tasted like jarred Alfredo and had 6 baby scallops. The scallops were cooked well but the dish was lacking. I would've appreciated some fresh parsley and maybe some lemon to give it some sort of flavor depth. Our server was very sweet and attentive but we won't be back.

We had the opportunity of eating at the wonderful establishment last evening and I was instantly impressed by the decor when we walked in the door. This was accented by the beautifully painted frescoes on a large wall surrounding the seating area. The vibe is current and classic at the same time. I was immediately greeted upon entering by a gracious host that took care of us the complete evening and his service was beyond great - he explained every item asked about on the menu thoroughly, even giving his personal favorites which lead us in some of our decisions. Our first main choice of the evening was Chicken and Shrimp Dama Bianca which came out beatifully fresh mushrooms, green onions, sun dried tomatoes in brandy cream sauce. Our second main choice was Saltimbocca which was Sautéed veal scaloppini, prosciutto and sage in white wine, butter sauce. What made this dish extra special was that little hint of lemon you could taste on the back of you pallet as you were eating the veal. To finish the night we couldn't make up our minds between the Tiramisu and the Italian Cream Cake so we ordered both - they were both absolutely fabulous !!! To top off the night the Owner of the Restaurant walked over to our table during dessert and sat in front of us two drinks of Limoncello "On the House" - said we needed those to have for dessert as well !! We have just found a "New Italian Restaurant Home in Plano" !!!!

REVIEW UPDATE 2/2/24: Partner and I made it back here tonight and the service was good, the food…read moreamazing and everything was quick and easy. By far an improvement and we will be back! The food was amazingly good--one of the best italian places I've had in a while. Our service was subpar. We were a group of 5 people all around the age of 23-24, and it seemed like our server just assumed that made all his shortcomings okay because he tried to act kind of bro-like with us. There were multiple periods of time where we were left alone for anywhere from 10 minutes to 40. It took us a LONG time to get our food even though we were one of maybe 4 parties in the restaurant. One friend got told they were out of something, ordered something else, and the waiter went, "that's a joke, right?" and told him they were out of that too. His entree came out almost a full 30-40 minutes after the rest of ours so he just packed it up to-go. Only a halfhearted apology that everything was taking so long and no type of compensation. The food was good enough that I would go back to try again since partner and I live in the area. But i really hope we don't get this guy as our server again.

Spaghetti Bolognese, Spicy Chicken Sauté & a vegetarian platter. Had an Italian eaten the spaghetti bolognese, he would have jumped off a cliff. The meat chunks were big & there must have been a max of 2 tablespoons of meat in the whole dish. The spicy chicken sauté was tough & rubbery. Both the dishes were made from a can of tomato sauce. No flavor in any dish. The vegetarian platter had some frozen falafels that were deep fried & served with the same 2 dips & some rice. The cheekiest part was the waiter add a 20% gratuity to the bill. I would never go back or recommend anyone go there.

I haven't made a food review in YEARS so hopefully this reaches out to the person I intend to send…read morethis message to. My family and I occasionally go to North Italia to hit our Italian food cravings or when family out of town visits. Every time I head to the one in Legacy I know we will always eat well. This time a few of my cousins from Cali visited, so us TX cousins had to order our usual for them to try- the White Garlic Truffle Bread and Calamari and yes they did like the appetizers, food, ambiance (the whole shebang). Things didn't go unnoticed with me when we went this time this past Tuesday (a summer weekday). Our server was Michael and I want to give a proper shoutout to him for caring for our table. He would switch out our plates and utensils (which I didn't notice if previously the servers/waiters did that before and he just did so swiftly too) as well as he would make sure we were comfortable the entirety of our time there. What stood out to me was I even stated I share a menu item with one of my cousins (unrelated note: the Squid Ink Tonarelli is fragrantly spicy and good every time for me it's so good highly recommend btw) and he put in word to put the pasta into two bowls so it would be convenient for us to share. I can tell he was a detail oriented type of person (or perhaps the place was under new management) but regardless I just wanted to properly thank Michael with this review. One more thing I noticed was at the end of our lunch the staff went towards the kitchen due to what I can only assume a machine malfunction or were understaffed in the back so both the servers/waiters/staff were teaming up to fix the issue at hand. It took time and we left as they continued to fixing. So just to say with all that going on and on top of it all handling it with class and professionally did reach to me. Seriously, thank you so much Michael. I hope you know your actions have been impactful and fortunately reached to me. The North Italia team is so lucky to have you in their team!

Since it was a busy Saturday evening, the longer wait time wasn't an issue, we expected that. Our server was fantastic and made the experience enjoyable despite what happened. She handled everything professionally and was attentive throughout the meal. The problem came when one of our pasta dishes had a long black hair in it. We understand that mistakes happen. We brought it to our server's attention, and she immediately took the dish back and put in a rush order to have it remade. About 20 minutes later, she came back to let us know it was almost ready and that the manager would be bringing it out. Another five minutes passed, but our server ended up bringing the replacement herself. At no point did a manager come to our table to apologize, acknowledge the issue, or check on us. What was even more disappointing was how the situation was handled afterward. After waiting roughly 25 minutes for the replacement dish and receiving a meal that originally contained a hair, the restaurant chose to comp his dessert instead of the pasta. While the gesture was appreciated, the dessert was less expensive than the entrée that had the issue. It just felt like a missed opportunity to make things right. We've always enjoyed dining here and will likely be back because our past experiences have been so positive. However, the lack of manager involvement and the way this situation was handled left us disappointed. A simple apology and comping the affected pasta would have gone a long way in showing that customer satisfaction truly matters.

The chairs had medium-thick vinyl cushions with a semi-soft feel. Our server April, arrived promptly. I asked her a couple of questions about the menu and let know that we woiuld order when everyone else arrived. Bread and a garlic-olive oil sauce were brought out while we waited. I ordered the Bronzino, which is a European Sea-Bass. It comes with, pasta and a choice of House or Caesar Salad. I went with the House Salad and it was excellent. It was topped with fresh tomatoes, olives, onion, cucumber and a sweet, tangy vinaigrette. The bronzino can be seared, grilled, or baked; I chose grilled. It's served "floating" in a rich sauce with rice-shaped pasta and broccoli. The fish was flavorful, though a bit softer than I expect from grilled. I would've also prefered slightly less salt on the pasta, Overall I give Mangia's 4 stars for service, food, ambience, and decor. I'd definitly come back to try more of their many dishes.
