Before sun damage on the Hood

Dee is the best ever. I took my Mercedes in on Sat it was ready on Monday. DEE saved me over 300$ from what KONA auto Body down the street estimated. They were professional and my car looked brand new after

at first dee seemed to do good work for a good price. he fixed my bed o n my truck after being backed into a bobtail. it appeared to be good work only to start cracking a couple months later. he is king of bondo he does not know how to do body work without HEAVY bondo use! also he lost a screw for my tail light which he claims was missing when it came in.. i called him about the cracking he said bring it by he would fix it. but since the carwash scraped the side of the truck he claims that caused the cracking, so he will not fix it.. all of his employees a drug addicts. he should of just replaced the bed instead of mickey mouse type work.

I picked up the truck that same week on a Friday and they did an amazing job on the repair thank you guys so much! Definitely recommend them for anyone looking for paint and body damage.

This shop caused multiple areas of damage to my car and I would not return…read more The damage was never disclosed to me, not when the work was completed, not when I picked up my car, and not when I paid for the repaint job. I only discovered it once I got home. When I confronted the shop owner, Pat, he admitted to the damages but communication from that point on became challenging and more difficult than it needed to be. There were long gaps without his response and at times the tone felt dismissive or unnecessarily tense, which made the situation even more stressful. I've made many attempts to work with Pat to find a fair and reasonable solution. To this day, I'm actually still waiting for a reply to my last message asking again to discuss a reasonable solution. After repeated non-responses and apathetic communication, it became clear that no compromise would be reached. The only option he is willing to offer is the one solution I clearly stated I'm not comfortable with: bringing my car back this same shop that damaged it in the first place. Given the damages my car received from 5 Stars Automotive, my hesitation is understandable. I even tried to negotiate a different solution by providing multiple repair estimates from other reputable auto shops and he responded by calling this practice "dishonest" (very ironic, I know). I'm leaving this review because I believe it's important to be transparent about my experience. I put my trust in this shop to restore my car's appearance, but instead I'm forced to deal with additional damages they caused.

Body shops wanted the car for 4 days and double the cost. Dings, dents, and scrapes, BB saved me time and money and did a pertfect job. Shout out to Mike the tech, he is an artist. Randy W

This photo was what I submitted when requesting a mobile repair quote, and the damage is centered…read moreon the reflector itself, along with dents above and below it. The repair quote I received did not specifically exclude the reflector repair, and it included a charge for "additional materials." Because of that, I reasonably believed the visible reflector damage was included as part of the repair. When I called the office before making the appointment, they didn't tell me that the reflector itself will not be fixed. When the technician arrived, he informed me that they could only repair the dents above and below the reflector, and that the damaged reflector itself was not included. When I called Bumper Buddies for clarification, I was told that because I, as the customer, did not specifically request reflector repair, it was not included in the quote even though the dents directly above and below the reflector were included. As a customer, I relied on professionals' expertise to evaluate the photos and provide an accurate estimate. If a major visible part of the damage was not included, that should have been communicated with the customer or clearly stated in the quote rather than assumed to be excluded. It's not unreasonable for customer to expect the communication of "hey, I see your reflector was also damaged, but we cannot fix the reflector itself, but we can fix the dent above and below it". The repair quote may have matched their internal interpretation of the estimate, but it did not match a customer's reasonable expectation based on the photos submitted. During my follow-up call with Nick, he repeatedly stated that it's a "communication error" and the quote did not include reflector replacement because I had not specifically requested it. That explanation raised even more concerns for me. As a customer, I relied on their expertise to identify and quote the visible damage shown in the photos. I should not be expected to name every individual damaged part or anticipate every technical detail in order to receive an accurate quote. If I had the professional knowledge to identify every repair item myself, I likely would not have needed their service in the first place. That is exactly why I turned to them for an estimate. Based on this experience, I would not feel confident on any future estimates from them unless every single item is spelled out in writing beforehand.

Craftsman Collision demonstrates outstanding customer service, communication and repair work…read morequality. Specifically, Angie contacted me within minutes of ending my call with AllState. Angie was professional and patient trying to fit me in for an estimate during the week. When I arrived for the estimate, Angie greeted me immediately. Without delay, Clay met with me to inspect the damages. I was pleasantly surprised with the cost. Clay also took time to go over the repair process so I had a better understanding of how long the repair would take. Prior to scheduling the repairs, Angie texted me the information on Enterprise Rental. When I returned for the repairs, Clay checked me in and made sure I retrieved any personal belongings I would need. They also sent periodic text updates during the process. Our vehicle was repaired ahead of schedule, and the team made it look like new again. Specifically, I was pleasantly surprised that Clay also had the headlights polished. Angie also conducted a final walkthrough and suggested I return if any issues occur. As a result, I highly recommend Craftsman Collision, and I greatly appreciate the professionalism by Angie and Clay!

This is my first experience with Craftsman and I'm honestly not sure how to feel. On one hand, the…read morefinished product looks absolutely immaculate. I would never be able to tell that someone hit my car, dented it, and scratched it while parked. But on the other hand, I was expecting to get my vehicle back within, I would say, 3 to 5 days, and ended up getting delayed by a little over 2 weeks. Luckily, I'm in a position where I freelance and work from home, so that wasn't too much of an issue, although it still was with errands and such. But a lot of people need to commute, and 2 weeks is a long time to pay for a rental car. I decided against that since even with a discount, it would still be a lot for a rental. So just keep in mind that they do good work, but I do feel that it was quite slow, most likely because, unfortunately, it's a mega service center for insurance companies, so a lot of people get referred here, and so there's a lot of people in the queue in front of you. That said, considering how many people were in the queue in front of me when they were finished with my car, I was impressed with the attention to detail. I didn't feel like I was skimmed over for probably the next 10 people next in the queue. Funnily enough, while this is happening, and other family member's car had an issue where the air conditioning broke. They took it into Pet Boys and got it back faster than I got my car back, but were much less satisfied with the service than I was with Craftsman. So another thing is, as long as the part is still being made, I have a lifetime warranty on the parts and service and paint and everything that was conducted. So that's huge. It almost makes it worth the 2-week wait. I just would have appreciated a bit better communication on why the delays were happening rather than, hey, it looks like it's going to be delayed. Is it delayed because there's a lot of people in front of me? Is it delayed because they're waiting on a part to ship? Because there was multiple delays, and although there's not really much I can do about that, I think you should give the customer a more detailed response explaining why an error has occurred rather than just saying there was an error. The error being the delay. So just know that Craftsman will do a great job, but you might be waiting half a month for your vehicle back.
