KC is awesome and I highly recommend him! My sister referred me to KC after my right side mirror got busted and I need it fully replaced. I called him and he serviced my car the same day, taking less than two hours! He's very efficient, personable, and easy to work with, and his prices are so reasonable. Once he fixed my mirror it looked as if nothing had even happened! Thank you KC! read more

KC is very friendly and professional. He asked me a couple times what I'm here for to confirm the 11:30 appt for oil change. He gave me some pointers that the throttle body on my vehicle should/could be replace for $400 if I'm running into the constant oil burning issues that leads to the engine stalls when driving. He mentioned Ignition Coil 4 tends to go bad on my vehicle. My neighbor who drives a Solara goes here for her maintenance work on her car. read more

KC's Auto Repair - Auto Repair Near Me - Long Beach, California

KC IS THE BEST!!!! I drive from Long Beach to Santa Monica for work every day and needed an oil change before my next shift. So I found KC's on Yelp and saw his place was open until 8:30. It was 8:05 by the time I got there, and he very graciously helped me with my oil change! He's so kind and genuine, and he got the job done super quickly! I recommend KC's 1000%, but definitely don't show up before closing like I did read more

KC is very kind, helpful, and he is honest about pricing and what needs to be done. He will also call when he has updates which is very helpful. Definitely recommend! read more

You can tell KC just loves doing this and does it for the love of the game. He literally lost money on a repair for my car because he told me a price and after the repair the part itself cost as much as the price he gave me. When I said "oh so what's the total then" he said. "Well the price I gave you". I was fully expecting to pay the labor as well but he stuck to his initial price. The only downside is there is only 1 KC and he is pretty popular. Despite this he always meets the deadlines he gives me. His is the only mechanic I am going to from here on out. read more

My car was smoking a lot and I couldn't drive it. Luckily I was near this shop I walked there and asked for help. KC was about to close and he explained to me what was wrong with my car. He helped me right away and fixed my car. He didn't want to accept my money he just wanted to help me. That meant a lot to me. I really appreciate KC's help he is a great person and I will be returning for business. Thank you KC for your help! read more

KC is very knowledgeable and experienced. I have an old 2001 4Runner I've been restoring and rebuilding. He only uses the highest quality of parts. He does great work and charges a fair price. I was referred to him by a friend to fix one thing and ended up permanently making him my mechanic. Hes also an old school car tuner and racer so his knowledge extends into all that too if you're interested. read more

Extremely good - Go to him all the time he always takes great care of me. KC is such a nice person. Reasonable prices and his work is excellent read more

Great service and quality work. Honest and fair. Highly recommended if you need service done

KC has been my go-to mechanic since I moved to Long Beach a year ago. I work on cars for fun, but I give KC the jobs that I'm not confident enough to do myself (or I'm just lazy). Estimates are always on-par with what they should be. Very friendly guy. I think he's a one-man show, so give him the grace and be patient if it does take some time. He always does a great job- genuinely cares for your cars like they're his. Trustworthy mechanic! read more

I went to KC's for a oil & air filter change. KC had me done and outta there in under 45 mins. Very reasonably priced, professional and customer service is upper tier. Id return for service for sure. Only thing is us customers need a decent waiting area Come KC make that happen ! Lol. read more

My husband took his car for some repairs and maintenance and Ive waited a while just to see if it was functioning properly before posting a review and it has been great. Will be taking the truck there always very good quality and service and close to me so even better. Will now be going to the always. read more

KC was awesome. It can be hard to find a mechanic that does great work quickly, and isn't looking to rip you off especially as a woman. He told me straight out I could wait a little longer on my oil change instead of taking my cash, and was able to fix an issue I thought would cost an arm and a leg for a reasonable price. He's also just polite and friendly. read more

KC was very kind and knowledgeable on our visit. My boyfriend and I were visiting LB from out of town when the brakes of his car went out. KC was happy to help us as walk ins and fixed the car within a few hours. He explained and physically showed what was wrong with the brakes and didn't up charge/try to sell us on extra products we didn't need. Truly a reliable, honest, and kind mechanic! Wish we lived here so we could always get this great of service. read more

I have a new trusted technician in town. KC did a great job explaining what my problem is...I need to get new tires asap because there are no more thread on them and can pop anytime haha. Went to him after the holiday to fix my brake. He quoted me a fair price where the dealer quoted me $600. Heck no way! I have to add the sunflowers are bright and beautiful displaying in the front of the shop. Will come back for my oil change. read more

My power steering fluid was low. Dropped by his shop and he took care of it. Didn't charge me a dime. I went back to home to get my head gasket changed. Only charged me 300. What can I say, he's my new mechanic. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

This place is awesome. Honest which is very important in a mechanic. He tells you how long it's going to be and that's how long it's going to be. I recommend KC to anyone who has a problem with their vehicle. read more

KC did an axle repair on GX. He is very knowledgeable and gives you his honest opinion. He will be my go to mechanic from now on.

By far, KC would be my new family mechanic. Affordable pricing and he's honest. It's hard to find mechanics that aren't out to get you for your money. I will be coming back. Like, tomorrow. :) You should definitely call first before you decide to come. Just Incase. read more

I said I was thinking well over a $1000 it didn't even come anywhere near that. I'm most definitely would recommend him and I'm sure to go back and have them fix Anything else that could go wrong with my car. read more

Needed a last minute transmission oil change, the owner KC obliged me in getting it done before they closed so I could pick my wife up the next morning. Wanted the filter and gasket changed as well since I had bought them already, he said he could do that and offered to stay overtime if he had to, KC quoted a fair price for the job. Calls a little over an hour later and tells me the fluid is so clean that changing the filter and gasket wouldn't be necessary and suggested I return the parts to get my few dollars back, then charged less than half of what he quoted me at pick up before the day was over like he said. Honest, approachable guy, and was appreciative of the patronage. Thanks again KC, I will see you later! read more

Horrible service, took my car in for a service, KC replaced a part on my car and when i left i had more problems then when i first arrived. Upon returning to ask him to fix the new issues, he stated it was out of his hands. If you come here keep it simple maybe oil change or air in your tires. Anything else would be a huge risk. read more

I really recommend this shop. I had an issue with my SUV and after taking it to another mechanic that wasted my time and money, I decided to take it to Kc's Auto repair. KC checked my vehicle and ran a diagnostic and explained to me what the issue could be. Since the diagnostic didn't come up with any major issues KC didn't charge me for the inspection!!!! I wish I would have known about this shop way before! I will be bringing my vehicles to Kc's Auto Repair for now on!!! read more

Honest! Did not try to upscale me at all...gave me options. Let me decide if I could afford work done now or later date. Luv this guy!! Works alone. Good work on all my brakes and tire and front end bushing. Very very fair price! Trusted among women. read more

I took my 2001 Toyota Camry in because I had a check engine light. The reader told me it was the coolant temp sensor was bad so i had KC change out the sensor, thermostat and coolant. Simple job and just needs to be ran to make sure that there are no leaks and that the temp gauge on the dashboard reads the temp and good to go. Welp this guy was too sure of himself and only replaced the parts and never ran it and let me pick it up. Took it home and let it sit over night the next morning i head to work in Newport Beach and i get there with a overheated engine. Got it towed back to kc shop and sure enough he adds a quick solution to the coolant system to ensure my car drives and runs okay for a while and a month down the road my engine ceased. Dont take your car here. I will never support a small business for automobile repairs. Rather pay top dollar than have a cars engine to be replaced for something as small as a temp sensor and coolant replacement. Never took the car back because he acted like he didn't do anything and my car was doing perfect i just wanted to smog my car. Find a better and more reliable mechanic read more

I finally found a mechanic I can trust. KC has worked on both my wife's car and my car multiple times. (I'd like to clarify - I only have one wife). KC's prices are the best in town. He's great at big jobs and little ones too. One time, after my extensive google research, I told KC what I thought was wrong with my car and anticipated an expensive repair. In no time, I got a call from KC saying that I didn't need that expensive repair, all that was needed was minor adjustment of something or other. So KCsaved me a few hundred dollars. I have total faith in KC's car knowledge and integrity. One more thing, he's fast. One time I dropped off an oLd Camry for new shocks all around - in a couple of hours the job was completed (and for about $150 less than the going rate). And, on a few occasions, I stopped in his shop for a minor engine adjustment - KC made the adjustment immediately without charge. read more

Car Issue: My '08 Toyota Corolla's right front brake would rumble when I braked. After KC took a look at it, we found out the rotor was warped and brake pads were worn out. KC Auto Repair resurfaced rotors and put on new ceramic brake pads on my front brakes. $145. (Another local auto repair shop asked for $280.) The work was done in about 40 minutes. I was impressed with the owner's knowledge and quick diagnosis. It seems he's a veteran mechanic. An oil change here is $25. I plan on returning for that. According to owner, this place has been around for about a year and a half. KC worked as mechanic for twenty years and now has his own shop. read more

KC did a great job on both my cars . One sp. ecifically , Pontiac Grand AM 1999 , where a large shop quoted me $880 to $1200. KC was honest and started from small to big . Elimination process.
