    THE FLORIDIAN OMELETTE

Came to this cute cafe before a lovely day at the beach. We had two omelets and a ceviche Benedict. Our server was kind and the food came quick. I recommend this spot for anyone in the area. Parking is tricky but you can find it :)

I have a condo in the area and walked into town and stopped for breakfast... the food was good the view is amazing and the service was very attentive and friendly...

Right on the beach; can you say great ambiance. Go to place for breakfast; had a simple breakfast with hot chocolate (cool morning lol). Good food; service was very good with pleasant servers. Parking is always a chore; it's in a tourist area on the beach. Overall, good experience.

The draw to this spot is the location. Situated just outside the entrance to the Deerfield Beach Pier, you've obviously got some spectacular views. With both indoor and outdoor seating, you also have the opportunity to enjoy your surroundings from most spots inside. The food was alright. I enjoyed the avocado toast. Served on flavorful whole grain toast, seasoned and topped with arugula and presented with eggs cooked to your liking. I had mine over easy and placed them atop the toast and topped them off with some Cholula hot sauce. This was a pretty basic offering, it was tasty, not spectacular. My other half got the fish and chips and some over easy eggs with toast on the side. According to him the fish was fresh. I was surprised to see it came as one piece, but I feel that also indicates it was fresh. For a cafe I'd have to say the food was average and they offer a decent variety including breakfast, appetizers to share and lunch items. Unfortunately service was a bit slow. I understand we went at a busy time. The food came out pretty quickly, but then there was a lag after that. Our drinks sat empty for some time and there was never a follow-up to see how our food was. I also noticed upon arrival empty places sitting on the counter at the bar from previous patrons, and these plates sat there until after we finished. I thought it was odd. Anyway, great location and view, average food and service.

    Blackened SHRIMP TACOS

I enjoyed the twice fried plantain with the shrimp ceviche for appetizer. Unfortunately, it took us almost 1.5 hours to receive our food and 20 minutes just to receive our drinks. The blackened shrimp tacos were good- nothing special, just basic beachside tacos.

Small lovely place! With a great view of the pier and beach! The breakfast was just delicious mimosas were just as good! Service was excellent greeted with smiles seated quickly. Great spot for the locals or even tourists that want to get away from all the busy bodies!

We came to eat here, having enjoyed the food previously, but it seemed there was no management present. A short girl with some gold hanging on her with a few tattoos, JoAnna, just lacked customer acknowledgement and courtesy. It was so mis-managed, that we hung around and just left after watching her rudely speak to other customers. These are tough times, and perhaps they cut back on management and they were overwhelmed. There seemed to be plenty of employees, just nobody in charge providing direction. "Chaos" was the word here! But as a frequent visitor here, if they don't want our business, it's easy to go elsewhere we are appreciated, which we did.

When visiting back in January for a work conference, four of my colleagues and I stopped here for breakfast three different mornings. We all enjoyed our meals as it was fresh and tasty. The views are unbeatable! The service was a tad bit slow but you can't complain since you are basically sitting on the beach!

Excellent oceanfront spot to hang out after a day at the beach or come in and enjoy the view while enjoying a meal and some drinks with loved ones. The service was GREAT! Meals are plentiful, we shared a sandwich and were completely satisfied. Our server offered to satisfy my want for a fresh fruit drink and the bartender agreed to make an amazing mojito with muddled blueberries Delish! You're going to have to trust me on it until you give it a try lol. Will definitely return, see you there!

The location and views are amazing located at Deerfield Beach overlooking the ocean, they have indoor and outdoor seating. They have nice variety on their breakfast menu! The breakfast was good as was the coffee. Parking is a little bit of a challenge and isn't free but overall worth the experience. The staff is friendly and service was good.

Great view! This popular spot is right by the pier and has limited, uncovered outdoor seating. We decided to go early to beat the heat. Came at 10am on a Monday morning and we were able to get a table outside. They have a basic breakfast menu and very quick service! I enjoyed my breakfast burrito it was pretty filling. The fruit cup was fresh. Quick and delicious breakfast while looking at the ocean, can't beat it!

The food is horrible. The staffing is rude. But the location is nice. Our waiter had an attitude and was not welcoming. The food taste like frozen McDonald food. Such a shame since it's right on the water. Management definitely needs to do some renovating with the menu. Don't recommend if you want tasty food. Only get two stars for the location.

My boyfriend can't have cheese, so he orders the Arthur Ave without it and swaps in lettuce for the arugula. He also adds tomato, pickle, and onion, and loves it every time. One small detail: I wasn't offered any sauce suggestions, and because of that, my sandwich ended up feeling a bit dry. I think a simple recommendation from the staff would've elevated the experience. Still, it was tasty and reasonably priced. The place is small, but it gets the job done -- very much a neighborhood deli vibe. Overall, a good, no-frills sandwich spot worth trying, especially if you're already in the area.

Laspada had a lit up sign in the window saying they're "open." I seem to recall Next Door Boca giving them decent reviews. I am a native of Philly, hometown of the hoagie. I thought I'd give this place a try. I ran from my car through the rain and tugged on the door....locked. The door hours say open at 11! So much for the lit "open" sign. They have outdoor metal tables and chairs under an awning. I sat at an outdoor table for ten minutes. I looked through the storefront window at a couple employees prepping and I read the wall menu. A guy unlocked the place at 11. I let a young family and several other guys go ahead of me. Guy at the slicing wheel waited on me. I ordered a small Mama Lastrada turkey & salami on wheat. There's about a half dozen employees behind the counter dealing with the assembly line of customers and sandwiches. Guy at the slicing wheel tells me one of the other guys will work on my sandwich. Okay. However, I can't move down the line because there's customers still lined up ahead of me waiting for their food. Slicing wheel guy looks up at me a minute later and asks what he can get for me. I look back at him waiting for him to recognize me from a minute ago when he already had sliced my order. No recognition! I repeated my order to him. Now he remembers me! He again refers me to one of his junior sandwich prep guys. I overheard him telling a busy junior guy, "This is just a small Mama on wheat" or something like that. Still, I can't go down the line because there's guy ahead of me had placed an order for 3 sandwiches. I swear to you that the slicing wheel guy asks me for a THIRD time for my order! By this time, I felt like I was in a Monty Python sketch. I repeated my order. Again, he refers me to a third junior associate (Manny, Moe, and Jack)? Finally, a young associate asked me for toppings. I had noticed two lettuce bins. One bin looked fine. The other looked a little brown. I decided to skip the lettuce rather than ask him to pick from the left hand bin and embarrass them. I also saw a black speck in the onion bin. It probably was nothing but I decided to skip onions just to be safe. I chose tomatoes, Swiss cheese, pickles and sweet peppers. The debit card reader asks if I want to tip. I skipped that. Price was reasonable. Hoagie was okay. The roll was soggy. Philly hoagie shops pride themselves on their rolls. I understand this is Florida, not Philly. I can appreciate this place is popular and busy. However, being asked for my order 3 times by the same experienced worker there left me feeling less than special as a customer.

We came here with friends and I'll give credit where it's due. The beach view is spectacular. The kind of view that makes you forget your phone exists for a minute. Ocean, breeze, the whole postcard situation. Absolutely nails it. And then the food shows up... and things take a turn. I went with the blackened fish sandwich. Cooked properly, no complaints there. But flavor? It felt like it forgot to show up for work. Just kind of... there. Unfortunately, that wasn't even the low point. My wife went with the fish tacos and called them straight up terrible. Not "meh." Not "could be better." Terrible. And that pretty much set the tone for the table. So now we're not talking mid anymore. We're talking mid-to-poor across the board when it comes to food. This is still a great spot to sit, relax, and enjoy a drink while staring at the ocean and pretending you didn't come here hungry. If you're coming for the food, just know you're here for the view that happens to serve meals, not the other way around. Pro tip: only do the outdoor seating. The view is the whole reason you came here. Inside, you're just eating disappointing food without the ocean doing heavy lifting. Two stars. The view is doing everything it can, but it can't season the fish.
