1st time here, with 9 people. We were seated at 2 tables to comply with social distancing. The food and service were terrific. Our waiter took care of both tables and did an amazing job. Thank you for respecting your customers by wearing gloves and masks, including your kitchen staff! read more

This was probably the safest I felt since covid eating out, especially outside. Drinks were amazing, I had the fish sandwich and my boyfriend had the prime deck burger and loved it! Super awesome experience and atmosphere. Waitress seemed to be running around like crazy a bit even though it wasn't busy but still a great experience. read more

Boring expensive menu, great location and view but they need to step up their game in the kitchen.

Consistent service and food. Love to come here when I visit Delray Beach. The ambiance is very nice.

Deck 84 - New American Near Me - Delray Beach, Florida

Patty was an awesome waitress ...her culinary skills were second to non her knowledge of the restaurant and menu made us feel at home as if we were eating in our mothers kitchen read more

Over the years, we have regularly patronized various Rappaports restaurants, including Deck 84, Burt and Max's, and Rappy's. Invariably, the concept is good, the ambiance is excellent, and the menu is ample. Recently, our experience has been that the Rappaports restaurants fail to deliver on the promise of the concept, ambiance, and menu. At our most recent visit to a Rappaports restaurant, this past week at Deck 84, our friends made the reservation. Given our recent experience, we reluctantly accepted their invitation. I ordered the fish n'chips, one of my regular favorites over many years. The Deck 84 fish n'chips was the worst that I have ever tasted, anywhere in the world. It was badly over-fried. I told the waitress to take it away, that I didn't want it, and I showed her how over-fried it was. She agreed. Later, when the waitress came back with the check, the charge for the fish n'chips was on it. I asked her if she had reported my complaint. She said "yes," that she had reported it to the chef. I asked if she had told the manager. She told me she had not. So I asked for the manager. Mike came over, apologized profusely, insisted on taking the charge off the bill, and offered the table dessert and coffee, which we declined. He blamed the waitress, but I don't buy that. Management has to train its staff on such issues, and keep following up to make sure that everyone understands their policies. Too bad. Dining should not be like this. read more

First night in town and had a great meal at Deck 84! Sat outside- great atmosphere. The food was amazing. We went with the specials and everything was delicious. Our waiter, Joe, was fantastic. He was friendly and attentive and added to the the nice experience. His food recommendations were spot on. Welcome to Delray! First dinner here did not disappoint! read more

Casey was a fantastic server! So appreciated her service and her menu suggestions. Food was delicious and she was great!

Great atmosphere on the water. The food, service, and drinks were fantastic. Looking forward to going back

I had dinner at deck 84 during my vacation and had a salad.. I later ended up with severe food poisoning! I would not recommend this restaurant! read more

I've been to Deck 84 so many times. This review isn't about the restaurant. It's about my experience with Lucas who bar backs there. I was a bartender for many years and know the importance of a good bar back. He was efficient, engaging with the customers and went above and beyond. When we asked him about why there wasn't any music playing he THANKED us for bringing it to his attention. He was constantly cleaning and moving and being productive, all while still being friendly and conversational. What a great asset he seems to the team! read more

The menu is just ok, I wish it was a little more eclectic. The fish tacos are good. I have no complaints about the food. The service and overall vibe of Deck 84 is great .And then when you have that view it really doesn't matter what they serve. Whenever anyone comes to visit us we take them here . The atmosphere is quintessentially South Florida. Watch the boats go by with a cocktail, sitting outside anytime of the day is perfect. We have also been here for brunch and love the Bloody Mary bar. It is a great Delray spot. read more

Cute restaurant, everyone who works here is super nice and friendly. Food seems a little over priced but there's a beautiful view

Great lunch at 84! Our server, Joe was attentive and friendly. We ordered salads - cobb and chopped. Both were outstanding! Large portions and fresh ingredients. We also enjoyed delicious happy hour cocktails - a late lunch - 5 o'clock somewhere. The cucumber cooler was refreshing and tasty. Not too sweet with a hint of lime. Can't wait to try it again for brunch and or dinner. read more

Went for Valentine's Day . Place was super crowded. Loved the drinks and music but the food was pretty bad.

Employees here are very nice. Sat right away and ordered short ribs and snapper. It came out quick and was good. Tad pricey

My friend and I dinner here a few backs back. I had been reluctant to dine here again after an odd encounter my first time here. My server who's name I cannot remember was not very attentive or knowledgeable regarding the menu (she wasn't new, she was training a new server). We got the calamari appetizer which was tasty; crispy; fresh and all around delicious. My only issue was I asked my served for a grilled lemon... I'm STILL waiting for that lemon. It got so bad I had to use the lemon that came with my beverage. For dinner I ordered the magi magi special. It was bland and conflicting. A warm fish and risotto with a cold sauce, Gordon Ramsey wouldn't be pleased. I wasn't pleased either to say the least. The location of the restaurant is absolutely stunning. Hostesses were very friendly and accommodating. Bathrooms were very clean as well. Overall, I wouldn't come back here or recommend this place to anyone. read more

Our party of four arrived about 4:30 p.m. on a February Friday afternoon at this intercoastal waterfront seafood-prominent restaurant. Our group liked the cocktails and opted for the starter dish, their very popular calamari/zucchini. This member felt the dish was heavy on the fried zucchini and offered enough calamari to suffice and rated only an okay from me. Two of us chose the mussels on the opinion of one who had really liked them on an earlier visit. One had them with the wine and garlic broth; the other picked the Fra Diavolo. The mussels were big and plenty and perfectly cooked. But there was no nice flavor in either dish. The wine was undetectable. There were a lot of fresh garlic flakes that had no more taste than garlic from the spice shelf. And Helen said it was nowhere near as good as before. Tom liked his burger. JoAnn ordered Baked Stuffed Shrimp which were not stuffed at all but very plain with only a butter sauce and a side of steamed spinach. In short, we were very disappointed with the food. Our server, Alexiz, was extremely attentive and congenial. And the atmosphere was upbeat. The place got very busy, so somebody liked it. But they should not expect us back. read more

AMAZING... needed a restaurant to accommodate 20 people for dInner on a Friday night. Did not want the menu limited to only a couple of items. Lauren the manager was beyond accommodating. We had a great line of communication for what our expectation was. We got there table was set up ready to go. Joe our waiter is the best on the business. What a true professional and so accommodating and friendly and fun. Perfect evening every dish all 20 of them cane out within seconds of each other and not one Mistake. Every plate was spot on. The entire table was talking about how unbelievable everything was From the food and food quality to the beyond perfect service. Kudos to the entire team at Deck 84 See you Sunday for brunch and football read more

Brought my dog here on a really hot day, they did not seem bothered by the fact that he was there at first. However, after I asked for a bowl of water for him, the waitress was really not friendly about me asking for this. Also, she had an issue with me refilling the bowl with the water from the glass she gave me. Just not cool and will not go back even though the food was good. Upsetting because the reviews are good & the atmosphere is nice. read more

My boyfriend and I were excited to try dinner here, as we had never been there before and were very quickly disappointed. Our server was nice, although a little a slow. I got the mango jalapeño margarita and it was mostly sour mix & was not good at all. We started with the spinach and cheese dip, and when the food runner brought it, he said absolutely nothing. Set the plate on the table & walked away. No enjoy, or even asking us if it was the correct dish that we ordered or if even the right table. The spinach dip was luke warm. Like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for 10 minutes. We asked the server to have them heat it up and 2 minutes later, that same food runner brought it back. Again, saying nothing. Setting it on the table, then stared at us and pressured us to eat it in front of him to ensure that it was "hot enough for us." The only good thing about this experience is that the server didn't ask us what entrees we wanted so it made it much easier for us to cash out and leave right after the foodrunner pressured us into eating for him. Won't be returning again. And don't recommend, save your money and go literally anywhere else on the Atlantic ave. read more

This is a great family restaurant with terrific views of the intracoastal from pretty much anywhere in the restaurant. Also well ventilated with plenty of air blowing throughout for hot days. My wife and I have been here a few times, we love the Brussel sprouts and wind up fighting over the last couple bites. This is where using my superior size and bulk comes in handy as I can easily overpower her and swipe the last tasty morsel for myself. I may wind up sleeping on the couch for the night but I don't care, they are THAT good! Wine selection is also pretty good. Staff is always cheerful and friendly but that seems to be the norm and not the exception everywhere in Delray Beach. Such a happy and friendly town. Loses a star because we came in once on the late side toward closing and ordered some food. We always order the Brussel sprouts and I ordered chicken. The chicken was overcooked, dry and cold and the Brussel sprouts were drenched in the sauce that comes with it. Looked to me like the kitchen had started cleaning up thinking the last orders had already come in and then we showed up so someone was being lazy and they scraped the bottom of the leftover Brussel sprouts and dumped it on the plate and then took an old piece of chicken and warmed it up. Other times we've been there all our orders have been great though so we forgive them for it. Sometimes you get a slacker line cook, it happens. Highly recommended. read more

Dined here for the second time and still am in love with the views, the food, and the service. Vanessa killed it as a waitress and I highly recommend getting her at your table! 10/10 all around, outdoor seating is well worth the wait. read more

Deck 84 - Balsamic Chicken Salad - New American Near Me - Delray Beach, Florida

Food and drinks are good! A restaurant with a great view of the intercostal. Service is good, food and drinks are on the pricier side.

This place is absolutely disgusting, no need to EVER come back. The food was nasty (i got a salad). The avocado was moldy, the water tasted poisoned, and the chicken was gray!! Literally there are so many Better places to eat, pick them. Not to mention that only thing "good" about this place is the boat view, and even so honking boats are not pleasurable during the whole dining experience. SKIP FOR YOUR OWN SAKE read more
