The overall on the ounce and vibe of the restaurant was very fun and enjoyable, especially on St. Patrick's Day. We had a reservation so it wasn't a very long wait time to be seated as well. The waitress is very nice and took our orders quickly, all of the appetizers were really good and fresh. As for the entrees, unfortunately, the steak came very undercooked and raw, we sent it back and then they gave us the same piece back raw again, unfortunately. Our waitress was nice enough to give us a fresh steak as well as take it off of the final check. All the other entrées were very good

Excellent ambiance and an amazing view! Our server had a great attitude and did an excellent job recommending dishes. We were a party of six and had an amazing time! We ordered two bottles of mimosas, a salad, and a burger platter that was on special and looked delicious. I also ordered what was probably the best salad I've ever had, with incredibly delicious salmon. As you can see in my picture, I didn't leave anything behind, haha! It's definitely a bit pricey, but considering the location and portion sizes, it's worth it.

Recently visited this spot since we were in the area for 4th of July weekend. The whole experience went great. Short wait time, good server and I loved the views sitting outside. Being a group of 9 those were already nice to start with. Food was ok. Not over the top amazing, but good. We tried different items from the menu and were able to watch the FIFA game playing during our visit. Overall good experience and I'd return.

(3.5/5) My fiancée and I came to Deck 84 for a Saturday date night around 6:30 p.m. The waterfront atmosphere was definitely the highlight of the evening. It's a beautiful setting to enjoy dinner and watch the boats go by. Our waitress wasn't particularly enthusiastic, but after watching the interactions of some of the other servers, it seemed like we may have just had an average experience. The food came out very quickly--almost too quickly. We started with the wings. The flavor was good, and the ingredients were fresh, but they tasted like they had been pre-fried and then refried. I ordered them well done, which made them a little dry. They were still enjoyable, but not my favorite style of preparation. My fiancée ordered the mahi tacos. She liked them overall, but thought the mahi itself was a bit dry. The salad that came with the meal was excellent and probably one of the standout items. I ordered the popcorn shrimp, which ended up being my favorite thing we tried. The spinach dip, unfortunately, was the biggest disappointment. It was one of the blandest spinach dips I've had and really needed more seasoning or flavor. The fries were your standard French fries--nothing special. One thing I will say is that every ingredient tasted very fresh. The restaurant clearly uses quality products. However, many of the dishes felt like they were missing that final touch of seasoning or flavor that ties everything together. Considering the prices, I expected a little more. In terms of taste, I've honestly had more satisfying meals at casual chain restaurants like Duffy's or Buffalo Wild Wings. I also noticed what appeared to be the house manager walking the floor. While appearance isn't everything, first impressions matter in hospitality, and I didn't feel the manager projected the polished, professional presence I'd expect from someone leading the front of house at a restaurant in this price range. Overall, Deck 84 offers a beautiful waterfront location with fresh ingredients, but the food and service didn't quite justify the price for us. If you're looking for a place to enjoy the scenery and have a casual meal, it's worth trying once. However, based on our experience, it isn't somewhere we'd rush back to.

This place was so cute that was right on the water. They have complementary valet parking but not sure if that's available every day. They also have the option if you've been boating all day that you can park right up to the dock and go get some food. He sat outside and it was perfect. We got some cocktails that were absolutely delicious. My favorite was the sweet Thai chili barbecue wings. The sauce was great and it was absolutely delicious. Service was wonderful as they were timely with our drinks and our food! I will definitely be coming back again in the future!

A great happy hour spot with a fun vibe located right on the intercoastal waterway in Delray Beach. Lots of outdoor seating with great views, pleasant and prompt service, cheap drinks and cheap food. I only had time for a quick drink - $6 for a Bacardi and Coke I wish I had been able to order some food from their happy hour menu - about a half dozen options, all but one $10 or less - as the food being served looked delicious. I also like that happy hour starts at 3PM - an extra hour to be "happy". If I lived in the area, my hubby and I would be regulars!

Stopped by Deck84 to check out the Sunday brunch. We made our way back to the outdoor seating area with a beautiful view of the Intercoastal. The brunch menu was quite extensive and offers plenty of options for everyone. Although on this visit we stopped by to grab a few drinks and enjoy the live music on the way to the beach. I will definitely be back here. As the music and vibe was a great time. The staff is super friendly and quick to help, if you get a high top in the back they are super quick to come over and check on you often. Overall I really enjoyed the experience here and will be back to see other acts and have a few cocktails for happy hour. Definitely worth checking out if you're in delray.

For the third time, I thoroughly enjoyed my go-to meal: the roasted beet and goat cheese mascarpone salad topped with medium-cooked roasted salmon. The salad is beautifully layered with creamy mascarpone at the base, followed by a thin bed of arugula, red and yellow roasted beets, roasted baby carrots, toasted pistachios, goat cheese crumbles, and a lemon herb vinaigrette. I love the ingredient ratio, as it's heavy on the earthy beets with just the right amount of creamy cheese to complement the greens. While there seemed to be slightly less mascarpone than last time, it actually worked well since the dish has enough cheese either way, though I would have appreciated a few more crumbled pistachios on top. My salmon portion was generous and perfectly prepared. This remains my definitive order unless a new seasonal salad option appears. The rest of the family enjoyed their meals as well. My grandma was very happy with her Greek chicken dish from the specials menu, which was a substantial portion featuring two chicken and vegetable skewers, rice, pita, Greek salad, and a green sauce. I tried a piece of her chicken and it was quite juicy! My brother opted for the chicken parmesan; while he found the vodka pasta excellent, he was slightly disappointed by the thinness and basic taste of the chicken. It was also a heavier meal compared to the others. Overall, Deck 84 continues to be one of our favorite spots in Delray!

Our go-to spot in Delray. Deck 84 always has a lively atmosphere and usually when we come there is live music in the back. Service is always friendly and they have the best chicken wings in Delray Beach. They used to have sushi but I no longer see it on the menu. I went with the chicken chopped salad and loved the variety of crunchy veg inside. Coconut shrimp was great, too. My husband enjoyed the fish and pork tacos (said pork was better). Mushroom burger also got a strong positive review. Can't go wrong with Deck84!

Lunch here was a delight on the inter-coastal for the Delray Beach annual affair. We ordered 3 appis. The Mediterranean platter,, which was very tasty: hummus, eggplant caponata, marinated olives and a feta cheese mix, sour cream & dill w/toasted pita. A nice mix. The crab cake appi was spectacular. It was made w/a chipotle remoulade & an avocado-corn salsa. Wow. We topped everything off w/a pear/Brie flatbread with miso bacon brite and arugula....good+ but almonds on it would have made it superb. NB: the appi portions are large. The food was great and cooked very well to which a pickey eater even has an idea of what to get and like. The service at the restaurant is very nice by asking if there is any allergy's and when there was they contacted the chefs to keep away the food that causes a deathly reaction. The ambiance around the restaurant is very colorful with controllable lighting making the light very unique while the dinning is very clean. But I will also add the wait time is a bit long but I purely thing that is because I came in the restaurant with five other people, just a long wait will not make me turn it down to a four star. Overall I definitely recommend this to anybody with a good taste and can handle Florida heat!! read more

The food is trash. The location is excellent. The restaurant is always busy. Lots of open air dining and bar area. Often live music. Boats pull up and get service to the boat. Been here several times, always at the bar, but I think we're done. The bar area is just nasty, smelly, dirty and just not maintained. They don't wipe the bar down after each patron (gross). We went for dinner at Deck 84 during Restaurant Month. We sat outside by the water and loved the atmosphere. Service was amazing from the minute we arrived to the time we left. Sunday Brunch simply put AWESOME!! I went today with my son, we grabbed two seats at the bar. The bartenders were spot. The place was packed even with the rain. Get a new chef and new menu. Would be nice if staff could tell you about the specials but apparently they don't get to try them so they don't know.. Poor management. Service is Ok and ambiance is nice on the water. Weekend crowd is biker bar and music is so loud that you have to yell at bartenders for service . The food was so good and I loved the water view. I also ordered calamari which isn't pictured but it came out hot and fresh and was very thick and filling. My Chardonnay was crisp and refreshing the wings had lots of flavorful sauce and the fish tacos were delicious I got them blackened. The coleslaw on the tacos was very well seasoned and I enjoyed the toppings. For dessert I got the carrot cake which included raisins which I could have done without nevertheless still yummy! I'll be back to try their brunch menu! read more

Casual and consistent. Menu is mostly bar food/apps, sandwiches and some great salads. Service is usually friendly. The outside tables are great, most have a view of the water. There is also a lot of live music which makes for good vibes too (check their website for schedule). read more

Make sure you get you spot at the bar early. The weather is sooo nice the locals are starting to come back out. Parking for lunch was 4 dollars and well worth the service. The parking spots go fast too... Went in with a work colleague and were lucky enough to secure bar seating. We both ordered the brisket platter. Nothing was wrapped to go, exactly none of the Mac and cheese needed a box. Great service and my ice was never empty. read more

First of all, the service was phenomenal. Our waitress was extremely attentive and very friendly. They were pretty packed for March Madness, but I felt that she divided her time between all of her customers excellently. You can sit inside, outside, or at their indoor outdoor bar. We chose outside for a view of the water and some sun. I had a cucumber cooler and it was very refreshing. I was also pleased with my mahi mahi tacos. I added guac which really was the touch that they needed. My girlfriends were not as pleased as I was. The avocado toast was way too much bread and the omelettes were greasy and runny. read more

I loved being able to sit outside. I had the fish dip and it was ok - it seemed like it was whipped and looked like mayonnaise, however it was yummy. I got the deck punch which was good - very fruity but good. Not sure the waitress cared for my friends and I - not sure why. Whatever - it was a nice time outside by the water. Went in for first time with dogs and asked valet if there was a wait and they said no. The wait was 15 mins and when the host sat us the other host was sitting the same table. We didn't mind waiting and told her we wanted a table in a corner or away from other tables as possible. We don't want to ruin someone else lunch if the don't like dogs and we are to close to them. She brings us to the worst possible table outside where the dogs didn't even have room to go under the table. We waited a couple more minutes and felt the vipe of the restaurant was too uptight for chill waterside lunch with dogs. So we left. read more

We went to Deck 84 recently for a late weekend lunch (aka linner). I will give this 5 stars for the location and ambiance. Love sitting outside on the intracoastal watching the boats go by and listening to live music. I would highly recommend this spot just for the delight of being able to enjoy the waterside vibe. For food I give it 4 stars. It was very good. My husband got a burger, I had a very nice salad and we also enjoyed the smoked fish dip which was excellent. We have not been there for a couple of years and but not because of their great food, wonderful service and very nice location with the nice view of the Intracoastal. We live in West Davie so would not make that drive if not totally enjoy being there. Not been there just us being so busy and the virus causing too many things. Happens to be our 25 year old Granddaughters name as well. We told the manager about her and he said he always gets told about how wonderful she is. I got the Shrimp Crusted Mahi (it's Dolphin to me - grew up in Hialeah in the 50's and 60's and have been a seafood person my whole life). Jasmine rice, garlic broccolini - never had it and wanted more. I'm the family chef and I make a mango rum heavy cream and butter sauce with real mango added for mostly grouper (our favorite) and other main meals so I know what's what. The toasted coconut buerre blanc was more than excellent- never had that and was simply delicious. If they had it as a soup would order by itself. Almost ordered another one of everything but was way too full. The finale was the Warm Brown Sundae -vanilla ice cream, hot chocolate, caramel sauce, chantilly cream, toasted peanuts. So very good. We guess you can tell We Love It There and wish it was next to our home or that we move as close as possible to it. What a wonderfully fun restaurant. I have never before pulled up to a restaurant in a boat, docked it there and gone inside to enjoy lunch, drinks and live music all with an amazing view of water and palm trees. It might be blase to the locals who might get used to it but I had a blast. While not what I consider gourmet cuisine, the food was quite decent and plentiful. We had 4 different appetizers and the mushroom flat bread so good we ended up ordering another round. Most of us had burgers which were cooked perfectly and the only disappointment food wise was the very limited amount of seafood options. Call me crazy but if it's a restaurant literally on the water there should be more than just fish tacos on the menu. Drinks were good, especially the make your own bloody mary bar which was a lot of fun. They also had a live band that was decent but I'm not sure if it was because it was a Sunday or if this is an every day occurrence. All in all a good time and highly recommended to anyone coming in from out of town who has access to a boat. read more

Restaurant Review We had an incredible experience from start to finish at [Restaurant Name]. This was easily a 5-star evening in every way. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Despite being an hour early for our reservation, we were seated right away, thanks to Lauren, the exceptional maître d'. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and ensured we had everything we needed. Her warmth and professionalism set the tone for the evening. As for the food--it was phenomenal. I went to Deck 84 for the first time last weekend and really enjoyed myself. The weather was really nice and I wanted to sit outside, so my boyfriend and I were able to get a table on the deck. I had the mango habanero margarita because I wanted a signature drink and was very surprised how good it was - sweet and a little spicy. We ended up sharing the mediterranean plate and enjoying being by the water and watching all of the boats go by. We split the burger, which we got with bacon, gruyere and guacamole, and it was delicious and plenty of food. There was also a band that was setting up so we stayed a little longer to enjoy the music. Overall, it was a great restaurant to sit outside and enjoy the weekend with some great weather. Deck 84 sits right on the gorgeous intercoastal waterway with outdoor deck sitting and indoor sitting as well. Mahi mahi tacos came in a set of 3 and were very filling and tasty. I ordered the seared tuna with wasabi crust which was very mild for those sensitive to spicy food such as myself. Absolutely delicious! Came with Asian slaw and a delicious soy sauce on the side. I'd order this over and over again. Cherry on top was the chunky monkey creme brûlée and oh my god we finished it in the blink of an eye. Versatile menu with lots of options. Can't write enough about how good our experience was at deck 84! Haven't been here in about a year due to moving further south, but I will say nothing has changed. Place is still a 10/10. Started the night off with a drink at the bar and Keith was our bartender. He recommended the Texas two step and there specialty margarita, both were amazing. Then we went to a table where we had brittney as our server and she suggested these wings that were amazing and the shrimp tacos which were better then we remembered. The manager Adrian checked up on us aswell as delivering our food, nothing like a friendly manager who actually has a smile on there face in a packed restaurant! I had such a great dining experience at Deck 84 yesterday! What made it so exceptional was the staff, delicious food priced so reasonably and the amazing view along the intercostal! The hostess Lisa was such a doll locating my friend and I a fabulous booth along the water so quickly after we missed the text she sent because we were enjoying the yummy rum punches that our wonderful, ssbartender Rod made for us (he is A+)! We loved the scrumptious, pulled pork sandwich and the lightly blackened fish tacos, not to mention the amazing sweet potato fries that our lovely waitress Brooke served us! We took our children for brunch last Sunday and were really disappointed. My husband ordered a ham omlet well done. It came 1/2 done and with cheese inside which he is allergic too. He immediately saw the cheese and sent it back. Instead of remaking the omlet. They scraped the cheese off and it came looking like a scrambled 1/2 burned egg. My dtr in law ordered and omlet with mushrooms. It came w/o any she sent it back and they apparantely opened the omlet and put some muchrooms in and sent it back looking also scrambled. Had the best time at Deck 84 last night...We were a party of 7, including our three kids. We sat outside overlooking the water, the view was amazing!! Very nice restaurant. Our servers name was Patty, and she was great! She was extremely accommodating. She immediately let us know that the kids eat free! What a surprise! Chicken lettuce wraps and the shrimp egg rolls were outstanding! We also ordered mussels, and although a couple of them were not open, Patty was more than happy to replace them. Wife and I used to eat at Deck quite often, but stopped coming because the food seemed to have gone downhill. It was bland and boring. Talking among friends the other day and I heard there was a new chef there making big changes. Figured I'd take the wife and check it out. For an app we had the brussels sprouts which were crispy & whatever the glaze was, it went well with the goat cheese. I ordered the redfish special and was amazed. It was delicious, full of flavor, and the presentation was nicely done. The wife had the blackened shrimp caesar. She said the shrimp was succulent. I can only say i am disappointed with Deck 84. I've been coming here for years. The bisque to start tasted horrible. It was spicy, chunky, and watered down. It took an hour just for the terrible soup, and dinner wasn't any better. The burger was overcooked, was flavorless. The mac and cheese was alfredo sauce, not even cheese. The bathroom was so dirty. There was a used condom in the trashcan in the men's bathroom. The restaurant floor couldn't be dirtier. The 1 great thing we had was the waitress and service. The service was good. Went in for lunch New Year's Day. Finally back in town and came here on a beautiful day. Unfortunately the temperature outside was the only thing warm and nice about my experience. I waited an eternity for my meal as well as the guests around us too. Our waiter did all he could to keep us happy. I heard the place changed since last winter but wow... cold food and long waits for it, only to send it back, isn't what I was hoping for. Our first time at Deck 84 and we shall return soon. The entire staff was extremely friendly and the service is phenomenal. The Manager Mike came by to make sure our evening was nothing less than perfect. Patty was our waitress, she gave us great menu recommendations and she was extremely prompt and efficient. My wife ordered the Thai Tuna Salad which was incredible. The Watermelon Gazpacho Soup was absolutely delicious. My first time there was on the 4th of July. Absolutely amazing service and food. That says a lot on packed holiday. I went with my boyfriend and family. We sat inside at a round booth facing the water and the outside deck. Great people watching location. All i can say is you HAVE to order the brie, apple, bacon flat bread. It was meant as an appetizer but I ate almost all of it by myself. My dinner, wasabi-ginger crusted seared tuna. I could have eaten another order it was so good. The location is what I like best about this place. It amazes me that you can have such a nice location and still have very Average food. I love to go there to be on the intracoastal but really can they not just get a good chef! I suggest management go to Houston's on Atlantic & the Intracoastal. Order some food and then see the level of menu and quality you need to be successful. I do not understand how you can open a restaurant and serve average quality food. I have always had a great experience at Deck 84 in Delray Beach! I love the water views while sitting at the large outdoor bar where you can even arrive by boat to dine at! The food is excellent ( I highly recommend the shrimp tacos and the calamari... So delicious!!) and their drink menu is awesome. They have specialty cocktails but also an incredible Bloody Mary bar. Deck 84 is exactly what your looking for while vacationing/living in south Florida. The outside deck atmosphere is alive. Drinks are always wicked cold. The food is fresh. The wait staff is having fun too. Inside dinning excellent. Weekend brunch is to die for. Bloody Mary's station very yummy. The management is always looking out for the guests. Our friends came to visit us yesterday and we had a reservation last night outside for dinner. Our server Austin was FANTASTIC! He was so personable and we were all rooting for the Giants in the football playoffs so he became a Giant Fan for the time we were there. That's what I call being accommodating! To end my 50th birthday celebration at Deck 84 today was the best decision ever. From the valet area to the water the scenery was amazing. The staff's presence was incredible. Our server was the bomb . I'm looking forward to going back just to sit on the deck and enjoy a drink. Wait, Let me tell you about that very nice portion of salmon and rice with asparagus. The wings were good too. As a treat from the restaurant I had the brownie and ice cream. Let's just say my evening was perfect. read more

Before becoming a seafood restaurant, this was the 1st home of the Boca Raton Historical Society. There were many other businesses here & eventually was going to be demolished. Arturo Gismondi a restauranteur known for La Nouvelle Maison, Trattoria Romana & the Biergarten stepped up. Luff's Fish House opened in 2017 after a tremendous renovation, with the original chimney windowpanes restored. We left the car with the complimentary valet and were seated on the large patio. There was a cool breeze under the oversized umbrellas. We started with margaritas that were delish and the perfect accompaniment to our $1 oysters. They served over ice & were large, juicy and very fresh. For dinner we shared the spring rolls and a lobster quesadilla appetizers, both were overflowing with lobster meat and fabulous. My husband enjoyed a glass of sauvignon blanc with his food; I just got a soda which they refilled. And they were nice enough to let us taste their coconut cake dessert (one of the early bird options). We'd certainly come back again in the future. And I'll be keeping my eye open for when they offer their lobster specials, again.
