This is always a great place to have lunch, the food is good and you can't beat being on the canal. Went for lunch here recently, our waiter Jon was the best! Had a wonderful experience here. They had great food and great drinks. Had a Riesling and Key lime martini (both were good). I ordered the Cobb salad which comes with chicken and I added shrimp, but when I got it it only had the shrimp and no chicken but my server (Joselyn) didn't charge me extra for the kitchens mistake which was very kind of her. Great late lunch today. Served by Lauren who did a great job with menu recommendations and was super aware of her tables. Water refilled before empty, napkins brought out to deal with sweaty glasses, always checked in to see if everything was good, or if we needed anything, when passing our table on the way to helping others. One of the more helpful and friendly servers we've had, yet not intrusive. Food quality and portions were great, salmon blt and blackened fish tacos. Unbelievable! The cocktails were soooo refreshing, the service was accommodating and quick and the entire staff was so friendly. The restrooms were so clean and everything we ordered was incredibly flavorful! We started with spinach dip (which was a meal in and of itself). I ordered blackened fish tacos and my boyfriend ordered bacon wrapped meatloaf with mashed potatoes! Plus, being new to town, the manager bought our first round of drinks. This is a must go to spot. We arrived with a party of 9 at 6pm hoping to be able to get seated within an hour. They seated us immediately indoors (outdoors was a 30 minute wait)! Food was very good. We had nachos, mussels, fish/chips, blackened Mahi, flat iron steak, and chicken strips for the little ones. Portions were fairly large and we didn't have any leftovers for doggie bags. Price was a bit on the high side for our budget but it was a nice night out and the service was good as well. read more

So everything was good until we went back to our 53 foot boat, the dock master "Mike" tells us the mandatory tip is $20 after we had already tipped him$10. It would not have been a big deal had he not been so nasty about it. Especially After him telling us that we would never be able to dock there again because he is the dock master and has all control of the dock. Our normal tip is always $20 but When we docked he was lazy and didn't even dock us properly. MIKE WAS very rude and nasty and said his job was to tie ppl up!!! Who says that??? What does that even mean?!!! WELL HE GOT HIS $20 plus $10 which was given to him first. So after a $400 bill we have to get Harassed for $20!!!! REALLY. I wasn't going to complain about the food but since MIKE messed up our experience I will let you also know not to order the dry fried chicken with mashed potatoes. We always go to Deck 84 when my daughter visits. It's nice to sit by the water and the service is good. In my opinion, the food is not at all good. You are definitely paying for the ambiance. The Asian lettuce wraps at Cheesecake Factory are actually much better than here. The chicken in the wraps was ground up so much it was almost mushy. The lettuce is not the proper choice for a wrap. It's too thin and limp. Just a lot of overpriced fried food and burgers like most of the places on the water around here. read more

We visited Deck 84 on a Friday evening. We had a 7:30 reservation and were seated promptly. We started with cocktails and the spinach cheese dip. This was o.k. not much flavor. I had the roasted tomato soup which was delicious . My husband ordered the Hawaiian fried rice which he so was very good. I had the Cobb salad which was delicious. My daughter had a salmon salad which she said was really good. Our son had the fish tacos which he said were very good as well. My husband and I had dinner here last night and sat at the bar where we were served by Veronica and Monica. Service was impeccable. Everyone was friendly, bright and helpful. The atmosphere was very fun - we sat at the outside bar and it was fun watching people go by in their boats, the weather cooperated to create a very pleasant experience. We had the rib appetizer off the happy hour menu and shared the Thai Tuna Salad. The ribs were fantastic and near perfectly prepared. Flavorful, tender meat that nearly fell off the bone. The salad... it was really really really flavorful and I loved the texture created using sesame seeds on the tuna however - the dressing was so salty it made our mouths feel burned after a bit. I really like this salad but I suspect that in preparing the dressing going with a low sodium soy sauce might help. Will definitely be back. I'd even gladly order the salad again but I think I'd just order the dressing on the side. read more

We come here all of the time! Deck 84 is definitely one of our favorite restaurants nearby! I usually get the Deck 84 chopped salad with blackened shrimp, but recently I've ventured out to try more menu items. The blackened shrimp Caesar salad is definitely the best Caesar salad I've ever had, I highly recommend trying it! This last visit I tried the general tsos cauliflower and it was super good (I honestly don't even like cauliflower, but the general tsos part made me order it). I'll definitely order it again! You should definitely order the rum runner also. It's one of my favorite mixed drinks and such a fun drink. The views here are amazing! My kids love watching the bridge go up for big boats. If you have a boat, you can dock right at the restaurant too! We always have great service here, and shout out to Patty for being very helpful with my sisters dietary restrictions. We frequently visit our favorite restaurant in Delray. The food is great and the view on the intercostal is superb. The service is courteous, professional and timely. Our waitress, Mahal, was super. The manager, Lauren, deserves a round of applause for helping to create such a wonderful dining experience. I'm not much of a drinker, but there is a full bar with many interesting cocktails on the menu. Our party of 4 started off with wings and spinach/artichoke dip. All very good. For our main meals we had salmon, tacos, southwest chicken salad and coconut chicken. All were delicious. In fact, our wives had to take home a portion of their meals. Finished with a wonderful key lime pie desert. Overall. This is our go to restaurant. Oh yeah, prices.
