Spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon listening to a live music band and eating delicious food. The place was very busy but I never thought it was over crowded. We waited a few minutes for an outside deck table but could have been seated inside immediately. It was quite breezy outside which made it a bit nicer because it was a typical hot Florida day. Our server Lisa was fabulous! She had a great personality and reminded me of Kristen Chenoweth because she seemed so happy to be among nice people. She was super attentive and got our drink and food order perfect. Water was refilled often and she kept a eye on our bar drinks to know when we would want another. I ordered the fish dip and the portion was great. Definitely enough for a small group to share. The crackers were crisp but I wanted some veggies for the dip. No problem, Lisa brought out a cup full of celery and carrot sticks. That made the afternoon wonderful. Good drinks, a yummy, healthy snack, and wonderful service. Had brunch on Sunday at the Deck. Ordered the smoked salmon and bagel. Waitress asked how we wanted the salmon cooked duh! It's smoked! More training for the server. Eggs Benedict was very good. Atmosphere is great being on the Intracoastal. It's a go to for us but now they charge $6 for valet that's a bit pricey when you can usually park at the bank especially on Sunday morning. read more

Sunday afternoon listening to Uproot Hootnany, a local folk band, and chowing down on PEI Mussels and the Deck 84 Burger paired with a California Riesling and a virgin Pina Colada is a fond activity for new parents. The mussels were very good in a nice tomatoey sauce with slices of garlic and basil. The burger, ordered well done, came out as desired. The band played to us for a good hour before we departed. We found parking on their lot but there is also valet parking. The restaurant, situated next to a section of inter coastal, has a sports bar which was where the band and thirsty patrons were. We had the option of sitting inside or out a little father from the main venue which was perfect for our little one. Service was quick and plenty of staff to assist the restaurant patrons. Prices seemed reasonable too. The burger was $18 and the mussels $16. My wine was $9 and the virgin colada $7. We were very satisfied with our experience. read more

We sat at the outdoor bar during happy hour. Monica and Jackie were the bartenders and were amazing! The drinks were great and they were always smiling! Lots of times, younger girls don't spend time getting to know those at the bar that are older, but they went out of their way to make everybody feel comfortable. We ordered off the pub bites menu and I got my taco on a bed of lettuce. They were large and filled with very tender meat. We were originally going to check out another local place but enjoyed Deck 84 so much the first time that we had to return! Did I mention that the view outdoors was awesome also? We came to Deck 84 by recommendation. The restaurant has a beachy feel,has a scenic location right on intercoastal, has valet (but there's also public parking nearby), and indoor & outdoor seating. They have weekend entertainment and brunch service. Our server (Joe) was excellent: patient, friendly, and attentive! I think the service we received pushes Deck 84 from 4* to 5*. We ordered a brie/peach flatbread, watermelon gazpacho, buffalo chicken tacos, and mahi tacos. Not a fan of the flatbread, but everything else was really good! Since I ate the fish tacos, I would highly recommend them! i didn't try them, but the chicken tacos seemed to be solid, served with a slaw. The gazpacho tasted like a gazpacho should, but had a subtle, sweet taste of watermelon. The truffle fries were great, with a large serving. I'd come back, definitely. Came here on a Saturday for lunch with my aunt and uncle and really enjoyed. We got to the restaurant just shortly after they opened so we were able to get a great spot on the water. We all started off with Bloody Mary's and they were some of the best Bloody's I've ever had. For food, I really appreciated that the menu clearly marked all food allergies and I did make my server aware of my gluten allergy as well and he said he'd let the kitchen know. I ordered the smoked prime brisket hash and it was delicious. I did end up getting sick that day but in all fairness, I can't say for certain it was due to gluten consumption at that restaurant or not. Valet parking is available in the rear of the restaurant. If you are visiting Delray Beach and looking for a place to eat on outside with a view of the water, this is definitely a great option. It was a nice walk from our hotel and we had a great time. They were doing some construction when we went, so the aesthetic and service wasn't the best, but the food was great and we had an overall wonderful time. Please do not go to this restaurant. We sat outside and the cushions had black mold all over them. The table top was damaged on the top and the food was plain awful. Had the best dinner we've had while visiting my parents down in Boynton Beach this week. We made a reservation for 6 of us for 8pm on a Tuesday, we decided to sit outside once we got there, they had the heaters on which was perfect for me (and my mom even thought it was a little too hot for her). We were seated right away and the service was spectacular! They kept coming around, dropping off menus, taking drink orders, dropping off drink orders, dropping off appetizers, taking entrée orders etc. There was never a moment where I thought "where is our waitress?". My sis and I tried drinks off the "skinny" menu and we loved them both, the lemonade and the skinny rita. We then got the sangrias with our entrees and those were delic too. The seared ahi appetizer was sooooo good, and the others at our table enjoyed the mushroom flat bread and the fried calamari. For dinner I got the herb crusted Mahi which was so good, just the right amount of food that I finished my entire plate but didn't feel too full. Everyone else loved their dishes as well. Friends chose this restaurant and I was hesitant: a big waterfront restaurant often gives you the view but not much else. Deck 84 is different. At lunch it was crowded, yes, but the outside tables are nicely spaced allowing plenty of room for the beautiful sea breeze to circulate. Our server Sydney was top of the line-smart, pleasant, efficient, really lovely. They had a creative mocktail list (along with the regular cocktails), something I look for on menus but rarely find. The food was great. It was altogether a wonderful afternoon. Thank you to all responsible. This is a team effort, clearly, and it shows a real interest in creating a great experience for guests. I went with a girlfriend of mine and the ambiance was so nice and peaceful . We sat outside. Our waiter came to greet us. His name was DJ. He was so nice! We each got a drink each followed by a spinach dip with tortilla chips. This was nice and fresh. I ordered the chicken Milanese that they just put on the menu recently made by Fernando that was excellent and my friend got the poke bowl that she enjoyed also. We will definitely be back. I had a bad feeling that this would be a tourist trap as soon as I walked in. I ordered a burger since I figured it would be a safe choice, but my suspicions were confirmed as soon as I took my first bite. Their Prime Special Blend Burger was easily one of the worst burgers I've ever had. The meat was flavorless and as far as texture goes was indistinguishable from the bun. Adding mushrooms and cheese cost $2 each, bringing the total cost of the burger to $20. $20 is sort of steep for any burger, but I could justify it if it had high quality ingredients. However, the quality here seemed to fall somewhere between school cafeteria and theme park food. The only thing that was above average about this burger was the portion size. This dish could have been improved ten fold had they seasoned their patty and added a better bun. The reason I'm giving Deck 84 two stars as opposed to one is because their staff was friendly and professional, and the restaurant itself seemed very clean. Overall, I would not recommend Deck 84. read more

Deck 84 is a hidden gem right on Atlantic Ave. We met friends here for lunch on Friday and sat at the bar outside. They have a large bar and outside deck area right on the water. We shared the Smoked Fish Dip to start. Someone said they thought it was to mayonaissey but I really liked the creaminess. The only negative was one of the three crackers/breads served with the dip, the pita, was completely hard and inedible. The crackers and little toast pieces were fine though. I ordered the Ahi Tuna and Salmon Poke Salad and my BF ordered the Buffalo Chicken Tacos on special. Both were very good. My salad was super fresh with lots of tuna and salmon, avocado and wonton wedged. The three tacos were large. The chicken was fried so it had a nice crunch, tasty sauce and a blue cheese slaw. I had the Downtowner drink with vodka, agave, lime juice, peach syrup and coconut water with fresh strawberries. It was tasty and refreshing. A very nice drink for a hot day. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive and food came out fast. I'd love to try their brunch one day soon. read more

And I loved that it was on the intercoastal, I really like water front establishments. We as a group of 5 for a walk in dinner, they seated us in under 10 minutes. I started off with a chicken squash soup and it was just what the evening required due to the windy and rainy night that we had to deal with. I ordered the salmon dinner and it was great, loved the jasmine rice and a vegetables that accompanied the salmon. The waitress was really sweet. I really enjoyed the ambiance. There was a group meetup at Deck 84 this past Friday. This was my 1st time in Delray Beach and, therefore, at this restaurant. The restaurant is large with both indoor and outdoor dining and bars. It's sits on the water's edge so it's wonderful to dine outside. I had a unique shrimp cocktail appetizer that was really delicious. Large, fresh and juicy shrimp with an avocado tomato little salad. So tasty! For dinner, I had the quinoa salad filled with all good things served with a vinaigrette. So fresh! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. read more
