Mediocre at best. Nothing was out of this world delicious. We started with the flare bread pizza and the empanadas. The pizza was pretty good. I did like the thin crust on it. The empanadas were just ok. The fried fish tacos that I had for my meal were tasty but were missing seasonings like salt. The sauce on them was decent but it was still just missing something. Beautiful water front restaurant. unfortunately that is all that is going for this place now. Price increases paired with consistent decrease in quality has been the theme for the past 12 months. over 20$ for a hamburger that won't be cooked to order correctly or 40$ country club priced salmon at half the quality. Drinks are tasty but don't expect your martini glass to be filled up all the way. its truly a shame because this place used to be awesome and the staff is still nice and they are the ones who will suffer the most in the end. Management dropped the ball this year with menu changes and taking shortcuts to save pennies... A lady with a bun and glasses always walks by with a disingenuous and condescending smile checking on tables, i'm assuming shes the manager. Saturday 7:45 pm reservation was sitting and waiting for my date and me upon our arrival. No waiting no hassle. Guacamole bowl and the general Tso's cauliflower bowl were to die for. Loren (sp?) our waitress was so so helpful in helping my date avoid shiitake mushrooms that were ground in to the lettuce wraps and helping me avoid Parmesan cheese that was mixed In to the spinach pesto pasta dish. So we avoided those and chose the roast beet salad sans the cheese. Yummy yummy yum yum. Great waterside ambience and family friendly place. Plenty of street parking. Prices were very decent too. Kind of bummed about my experience yesterday. Last time I was here I had given a 4/5 despite my lackluster food just because my drink and waitress were great. Yesterday wasn't so nice. I stopped in with my mom, who's never been here, for a break from the heat. We sat at the bar for a drink inside. I asked for an Islamorada, but wanted to know which it was. The bartender didn't know. I found that off putting, but not a big deal. It happens! I ordered it, and her response was: "I have no draft beer back here. It will take me a while." So I watched her take care of other drinks and orders while mine was just ... waiting to be taken care of. Why not ask someone else to go get it? I got it after maybe 15 minutes. Came here on a Wednesday for art and jazz on the ave. The jazz music and the great views of the water was my favorite. I wish I came early to get a better view of the live music but it was still fun. As with most restaurants with a bar, I believe that the food reviews are probably influenced by the number of alcoholic beverages that the customers have consumed. I read the ratings on the fish tacos and ventured to order them. WHO SERVES FISH TACOS ON FLOUR TORTILLAS?! The burger was a redeeming factor, but nothing to write home about. Enjoyed a great lunch inside (was like a humid blast furnace outside). Lisa was our server, and really made the experience. She was awesome. Table ordered a kimchi bowl, tuna poke bowl, shrimp Caesar and blackened shrimp tacos. And a giant brownie sundae. The kimchi bowl was incredible. Deck 84 is the best spot in Delray to sit outside, have a few drinks, and listen to some awesome live music. They also have a few TVs outside, so it can be a fun place to watch sports if you don't mind not having the sound on. I love the vibe here, especially on Sundays. The food is average and a bit overpriced. I have eaten both inside the restaurant and at the bar, and I have never had a "bad" meal or experience, but I wouldn't come here for the food alone. My husband and I got horrible food poisoning from this place. Horrible start to our vacation. I ordered the chicken coconut salad and he ordered the fish and chips. He tried my chicken but I didn't have his fish so the chicken was the only thing we had both eaten. I knew something was off about it. We were both puking at 6:30am the next day. We were both very sick for about 48 hours. Obviously we'll never be back but just be warned- don't order any chicken! read more

Best dinner we had in Delray. It's right in the water, great vibe, waiter was fantastic and the fish tacos - best I've ever had. I also had the ole fashion and it was best I've ever had. The Thai cauliflower was a bit dry but there was juice at the bottom (realized that at the end). Definitely worth going to for lunch, dinner or just drinks! read more

For the holiday, they had a few specials & we chose a quinoa salad with baby arugula, whipped feta yogurt (whatever that is, it was delicious!), toasted pecans, watermelon & a lemon vinaigrette. This dish was outstanding!! The flavors just melded together brilliantly & made my mouth very happy! My husband ordered the grilled chicken on ciabatta with caramelized onions, pesto mayo & balsamic glaze - also delicious, juicy & tender. We chose sweet potato fries with that. We shared & devoured everything. Sat outside on deck & even though it was a hot day, we were in the shade & there was a nice breeze on the intracoastal. 11/2/19- Came here by boat today! First time visiting this Awesome spot right off the ave and the intracoastal. Came here for a Saturday night date night and it didn't disappoint! There is valet available for 6$, not sure if there is free street parking elsewhere didn't bother searching around. Was told the wait would be around 20 minutes which for a Saturday night is not bad at all. Killed the 20 minutes at the outside bar having a drink and enjoying the beautiful breeze. The food was definitely the highlight of the night. We ordered the mahi special and the bacon wrapped meatloaf. Both meals were AMAZING. Highly recommend to order either if you like mahi or meatloaf! Didn't have any room after the meals to try the desserts but a table next to us ordered a variety and they all looked nice! Overall can't complain at all. Between the hair in my food, period blood all over the bathroom, meh food, lack of vegan options, and sub-par service - there are about 1,000 other places you should try before Deck 84. The positives: the view is great and management did apologize for the hair and comped that meal. The negatives: I specifically choose this restaurant because it said vegan friendly (through Yelp), turns out the veggie burger was the only vegan item on the menu, which was a seasonal item. Why on earth they'd only have a seasonal vegan option, I have no idea. Thankfully I occasionally eat cheese so was able to make do with something vegetarian. I ordered the avocado toast, the toast was soggy, the guacamole was bland and tasted store bought, for $16 you get the smallest portion of burrata - the texture of which was off. This was the dish I found a short grey hair- it does happen, but it shouldn't. My husband had the shrimp sandwich, he said you can easily find a better one at any local chain down here. Going to the bathroom, the signs are largely advertised that they were sanitized every 2 hours. The first stall I walked into had dried period blood, women's hair everywhere, and disgusting floors. It looked like they hadn't been cleaned in days. Service was ok, slow, but they were busy. Even so, waiting 20 minutes to flag someone down doesn't make for the best experience. Delray has plenty of great spots, plenty of great views, do yourself a favor and skip this one. read more

This place is a cleaned up night club. Bathrooms floors are sticky. Food isn't great. Lots of drinks which taste only ok. I paid $21 for a cocktail that I didn't finish, was terrible. Skip the Cobb salad the chicken I swear is canned. Staff is nice but most staff has shorts that barley cover their butt cheeks. It's insane. If I was 20 I'd love it. read more
