This place was great. Right on the water, very spacious, clean, and the food was great. We had the salmon and salad, teriyaki chicken lettuce wraps, and a prime blend burger and they were all so good! Would definitely recommend. This low review is not about the service for it was impeccable or the atmosphere...you'll not find a better view of the intercostal waterway. It was about my dish. I had the stuffed shrimp. It was horrific. It was mainly small shrimp (not fresh but maybe frozen) in a watery buttery bland sauce with some kind of bread mix laying on top. Made a reservation for a group of 12 women. We were promptly seated inside with a view of the water. Very pretty location! It was tough to choose an appetizer because they all looked great. We went with General Tso cauliflower and guacamole. Wine, cosmos, frozen margaritas and Manhttans were met with rave reviews. Smash burgers, salads, shrimp tacos and flatbread pizzas were the mains. Visited for lunch a couple days ago and was surprised by everything this place had to offer. The place was packed as there was a game on and live music, but the experience didn't feel diminished at all. Everyone was in a great mood, in part because of the awesome music, but also because of the amazing food. Our table all got dishes that were mostly absolute hits. For starters we got the fried calamari and zucchini, chicken empanadas, and smoky fish dip. The fried calamari was thick, juicy and crispy - while the zucchini almost felt tempura like. Nothing was overly greasy and the dipping sauces were on point! The chicken empanadas had a great dough and again, not overly greasy. The only feedback here is the meat could be a bit more moist but the sauces were a good complement at the very least. The smoky fish dip was awesome - I was worried it would feel artificially smoky but it was just the right amount. For appetizers, 3/5 of us got the fish and chips and we all loved it. The fish and the fry on that beer batter were fresh + fries were thick and crispy. The other 2 got a burger and fish tacos -- I had a bite of the burger and it was really delicious and juicy despite the person who ordered getting it a bit more done than I'd like. The other person got blackened mahi tacos and they were good for the most part, but the tortillas could use some work as they came out feeling stale: a symptom from heating the tortilla and leaving them out for a while. All in all, I would go back despite the few misses. A 4.5/5 stars in my book, especially because of the great server we had. read more

Went here for lunch and placed was packed at 1:00. Not taking reservations during "high" season, but told there was only a 25-30 wait so headed to the bar for some cold beer. They were right on getting a text after a 20 minute wait that our table was ready. Started off with their Mushroom flatbread which was topped with a generous amount of arugula and was very good. Wife had the chopped salad which she enjoyed and I had the shrimp tacos. Three tacos delivered with a generous amount of tasty shrimp which were delicious. Service was excellent and although quite a lunch time crowd never felt rushed. Valet parking behind restaurant is $3 plus tip. Probably the worst meal of my Florida existence. The ceviche was totally disgusting. The menu itself lacked anything appetizing. My wife ordered wings and was given mayo as I dipping sauce. My burger was just okay. Hard to F up a burger. The scotch (Johnny black) was lovely. The wife ordered the grilled steak and literally got 3 tiny beef cubes smothers in sweet baby rays barbecue. This restaurant was pretty great. A little pricey but what can you say. Good food, on the water, big money. Patty was our server and her among the hostess and other servers were great! They gave amazing service. The food was delicious. Probably the best Salmon I've ever had. The ambiance was pretty casual and light. We had our infant twins and they were very considerate and understanding. They made sure we were all happy. We received a bottle of wine for free for a Wednesday special they provide and they even let us take it home so we could enjoy it there. After a day of shopping at the Palm Beach Outlets, my boyfriend and I randomly stopped at Deck 84 for dinner before going home to Fort Lauderdale. We called ahead and made a reservation for two and were seated immediately upon arrival. This was a great Yelp find and we will be back! We sat at a high top by the bar on the back porch. I started with the "Proper Tea" (whiskey cocktail, $13) and my boyfriend had a mule (I can't remember which one, but he really liked it!) I ordered the Mahi Mahi sandwhich and was thrilled - the LARGE piece of fish was grilled and flavored perfectly. My boyfriend had a basic burger which he liked just fine. We both had a side of French fries (we earned them after walking around the outlets for hours) thanks to recommendations from our server. He said their fries are fantastic and he was not wrong!! Dress up for date night, stop in for a casual dinner after a day out, get together to watch the game or meet your group for a birthday party, whatever gets you here just go- this is a FANTASTIC restaurant! Deck 84 was a nice option for lunch. The view was nice with lots of seating on the patio which has a water view. It was super hot and I had been walking for a while so I sat inside. you know that pipe sewer smell that you get in restaurants sometimes? Well this definitely had it. It wasn't completely overwhelming and a lot of times this is out of the hands for the restaurant owners. The seared tuna was a must get. I really enjoyed it. Classically prepared like you've seen it many other restaurants. I also chose a side dish of garlic steamed brussels sprouts. No matter how many times I see these on a menu, I'm not tired of them yet. With a little bit of salt it was fantastic. I made it in for happy hour and enjoyed a dollar off my key lime martini. All in all a decent option for lunch if you were in the area. Delray Beach has so many options though, I may have to try others before circling back around to this one again. read more

The restaurant's location is perfect! It has such a wonderful view for those who sit outside. Even if you sit inside, there are beautiful paintings on the walls. Sitting outside during the nighttime is my favorite because all of the lights come on. Every time my boyfriend and I arrive, we are seated quickly and our drinks come soon after. We LOVE their empanadas appetizer. They are perfectly fried, bursting with flavor, and the sauces, mainly the Chimichurri, is a mouth watering addition to this dish. For our main course my boyfriend usually orders a burger and I order the fish and chips. The fries at this restaurant are perfect. Not to mention their plating. You can tell the staff works hard to keep the quality of their food consistent. Every dish that I have had at this establishment is amazing. It's a nice location but the food really is meh. I realized this was our 2nd time here, seems the first time was uneventful and I never bothered with a review. But once the food arrived we remembered why we hadn't been back. Started with the fried green tomato burrata...coating was hard and crumbly, barely cooked tasting rather raw and sour. I had the wahoo special the fish itself had no seasoning whatsoever and you needed the overly sweet pineapple rice to give it something barely worth eating and this poor fish was way overcooked. Hubs had the meatloaf which was cold and had to be redone. It lacked any sauce other than bbq sauce (yuck) and the texture was mushy from too much breading. Looked way better than it tasted. Doubt we'd be back. While I appreciate Burt's reply and his efforts on competitive pricing, he neglected to address the issue of undercooked, overcooked, under-seasoned or cold food. I've passed this place before several times and never realized how much it had to offer. It has a beautiful indoor area with a bar that is great for a quiet dinner or just a nice afternoon lunch. Also, there is a huge outdoor area on a dock with a perfect view of the water. It's relaxing to watch the boats pass, and will a killer happy hour menu you can't go wrong. The food is delicious. I have tried several of their menu items and have never been disappointed. Their truffle fries are probably my favorite snack, and the portion is great for sharing! Deck 84 is in an amazing location near Delray Beach. It's a great place to get drinks or stop for lunch or dinner on the water. This restaurant is pretty big so the social distancing is pretty easy to do. The drinks are pretty hit or miss here. We ordered the Paloma Tequila and the Frosé and neither of them tasted great. The Paloma was replaced but I decided to stick with the Frosé. The manager personally replaced the drink and took out order because our waitress wasn't great. For appetizers we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, as well as the calamari and zucchini. Both were pretty tasty! For the entree I ordered the mussels in white wine. They were so abundant and delicious. Next time I'm going for them in the garlic sauce! My fiancé ordered the catch of the day which was grouper, blackened, and it was pretty good. A little too peppery for me. Our friends ordered the chicken sandwich and the fish tacos which we were both ok. Overall, Deck 84 is a pretty decent place. Over priced tourist trap prices . You would be better off at McDonald's and getting their Filet O Fish and get a beer at 7-11. Rude New York Staff that will add tips you did not approve when you signed your credit card bill. They must have made these reviews up themselves. Very average food and over priced with poor service. The view is good but you can get that almost anywhere in Delray Beach. Its a real shame that little Delray has turned out to be a New York hustle and side show of over priced everything where the people are garbage. Manager here is aggressive and dishonest and do anything to protect his shoddy food and pricing. He is another Delray scab in food and drink (in the business Facebook club) loser. Went to Deck 84 yesterday. The service was excellent although there weren't many folks in there when we went due to the weather. Our meals came out VERY quickly!! The burger was outstanding. Cooked perfectly and the alioli was terrific. Friends meals were also good. Their menu has been reduced it seems, in my opinion, since COVID. Prices as everywhere else have gone up, but you are sitting on the intercoastal. The happy hour special brings in many. Overall, a positive experience. read more

We had the crab rangoon nachos for starters.... yummm, the fish tacos with a side of guac (hell yea!) and the chicken sandwich which was juicy and cooked to perfection. Zero complaints. Frozen margs of course, which Lisa had the bartenders tweak to ultimate perfection! Extra limes & tequila!
