We loved this place! I truly wish this place was in nyc because I would be going there all the time. Our waiter was so nice. Fantastic personality! I forgot his name but he had a Nintendo tie clip. The food was priced well and so good. Like surprisingly good. It's been a week and I'm still dreaming about it. The fried pretzels are by far the best pretzels I've ever had. I eat a pretzel every where I go so I know my pretzels. The flavor and texture were fabulous. Big portion too. I liked the Mac n cheese egg rolls a lot. They just needed a bit more crunch. He loved the cheese curds. Again big portion and found them to have a nice kick. The ravioli were presented beautifully but a bit oily. We played arcade games and it did eat our money twice.

Everyone knows Decades is an incredible place. They opened up their ice cream bar and patio! Such an awesome vibe with cornhole, plenty of seating, and even a walk up counter! The ice cream "bartenders" if thats what you call them are very nice and are working fast! Our ice cream was out in minutes! We decided to try their new flavor "Chillin with my peeps" a peep and cadbury creme eggs infused ice cream. Very tasty! Chocolate peanut butter ripple was also fantastic! They use Kreider ice cream, love local supporting local.

Came here with my husband and a friend after seeing a Facebook reel, and I'm so glad we did! I was immediately impressed with the décor and layout--very well done, with a classy, upscale vibe. It's nothing like a Dave & Buster's or Chuck E. Cheese; this place feels more refined and thoughtfully designed. We played a round or two of bowling, which was a lot of fun. We were even waited on while bowling, which made it extra enjoyable. Drinks and food were brought right to us, so we could relax and enjoy our time together. After bowling, we explored the arcade, and it did not disappoint--lots of variety and a great atmosphere. The bar also looked fantastic, and you can tell they have some quality selections behind the counter. I'm already looking forward to coming back in December for my friend's birthday--we might even rent a nearby room to make a whole night of it.

Yep... another visit to a super fun place! Lots of things were ordered. Had a party of 6. Had a blast and the vibe is awesome. Just get here! Amazing food, excellent service, and super fun things to do!!!

    Mango Sticky rice margarita

Do not recommend the Mango Sticky rice Margarita . Had high hopes for this....tastes nothing like Mango sticky rice. Not sure if the bartender had a heavy hand with the Long grain rice infused with Espolon Blanco ( I love tequila!) but this was undrinkable.

If you are looking for a place to behold the soul of joy itself manifest in blinking lights and 8-bit music, then by God do yourself a favor and take your children to Decades. I went there with my two sons, ages 10 and 13, and I tell you, I haven't seen such unfiltered happiness since a dog I once knew found a ham sandwich in the snow. The boys were entranced. Enthralled. Beside themselves with glee. They stepped into that warm arcade glow and it was as though they had been granted access to a secret dimension of the past: the 1980s and 90s. A place where Mario still jumped with conviction and Donkey Kong still threw barrels like it meant something. Each game cost only 25 o 50 cents to play which might as well have been free. In a world where everything costs too much, Decades still believes in small joys at small prices. We didn't bowl but the six-lane alley looked like something out of a dream someone might have after watching The Big Lebowski and drinking a cream soda. The bar shimmered with potential and mystery. It gave off a low murmur of adult coolness that I imagine becomes even more potent after 8:30 PM when the young are banished and the grownups inherit the Earth for a few hours. We left around 7:30. THe kids had milkshakes of the mind. Their hands smelled of tokens and their hearts were full. I didn't hear a single argument. I didn't say no to anything. No one cried. That's as close to Eden as a parent gets. Parking was a breeze next door at the Queen Street garage. It cost next to nothing and didn't require any sort of blood oath or ritual sacrifice. What a delight.

When you enter this place its at ground level and immediately you recognize you need to take the stairs up. Once you usher yourself up it opens up to two areas where you wait to be seated. The place is an older vintage like gastropub where the front is one bar and some seating, but on the backside is more open seating with where the band and another bar are situated. This place isn't meant to be for large groups, but could possibly accommodate groups of 6. The main bar which also next to the kitchen is an older vintage style bar and whisky's is nothing special but once you sit down and hear the music you settle in nicely. Service has always been courteous and prompt and the menu looks like there are a good assortment of choices. The two times I've been here I've ordered the mussels which includes great sauce and spread with seasoned ground meet. Was so yummy! The second time I came I tried the CHICKEN FRICASSEE. Man was that great! It includes 4 pieces of bread, chicken and the mushroom sauce. So good! Both times I had some of their assortment of single scoop ice-cream which in this area, something about the milk from their amish cows is so creamy. All that said, this is one of my fav places to come enjoy a glass of wine and food. Oh and Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday's they have some instrumental band playing too.

Bert & The Elephant - Chicken Caesar Wrap with Frites

Another very overdue review (kindergarten teacher life! ), but this one is especially special…read morebecause Bert and the Elephant became part of our wedding story long before our wedding day. About a year before our wedding, my husband and I were exploring Lancaster as a potential wedding location. While walking down the street, I spotted a giant pink elephant. For those who don't know me, Delirium is my all-time favorite beer, and its logo is a pink elephant, so of course, it immediately caught my attention. When we walked inside, and I realized it was a Belgian beer bar and restaurant, I was absolutely ecstatic. Bert, the owner, noticed how excited we were, and we started talking. Bert is incredible! He is so knowledgeable about all of his different beers and cares about every single detail. He even has a different glass for almost every beer because, to him, the details matter. But what really stood out was how he treats people. Bert makes you feel like family. Before we left that day, he even gifted me a little ceramic pink elephant straight from his decor. I was absolutely giddy, and I still have that little elephant proudly displayed in my home today. I knew right then and there that we had to have our after-party at Bert and the Elephant. And we did! We were able to rent out the entire place for two hours after our wedding. We had an open bar for the first hour and delicious finger foods for a late-night snack. I'm sure you're thinking, "That must have been insanely expensive," but it wasn't! And it was the perfect location, right down the street from our hotel, so everyone could walk there easily. Our wedding day fell during a heatwave, and unfortunately, the heat definitely affected how many people could make it to the after-party. Everyone was exhausted from the day, but Bert and his staff still made sure that everyone who came had an amazing time. They were welcoming and attentive, making the night feel so special. Bert and the Elephant turned out to be the perfect way to end our wedding night. What started as a random pink elephant catching my eye on a walk through Lancaster turned into one of my favorite wedding memories. We are so grateful to Bert and his staff for helping us end the night with great drinks, delicious food, and even better memories.
