My mistake was in trusting the then director, Randy Freeman, to do the right thing. What I should have done was to call Childline and let them handle it. Randy found none of emails of complaint valid, even relating to instances of mistreatment where I had other witnesses. The JCC was going through renovations as the time and they didn't want anything to jeopardize them, so they made up some nonsense about me. I'm not perfect; however, I stand behind my words and actions always. I recently thought about requesting the JCC remove the trespass order so I can go back. I need the pool like I need oxygen. However, after perusing pictures of the staff and the board, I decided I didn't wish to ever see these people again. 'Everyone is welcome'. Yea, except the righteous Jewish disabled war veteran. What a bunch of hypocrites.

They have baby carrots you can feed some of the animals. The monkeys are so cool, when you throw the baby carrot, they catch it, eat it, and wait for another. They must bleed orange with all the carrots they eat. The emus are cool. The big cats, I could stare at for hours. I really enjoy the whole experience, including the exercise.

We typically would do their Christmas Train, and rarely got back to Lancaster in the warmer months. As soon as I planned my latest summer trip, I knew it had to be on the itinerary. This place has it all from gigantic slides to gold mining sluice areas to a mini kids village that mine couldn't get enough of from the mini vet office to the drive in theater. It was really impressive. From here, you can make your way up the hill where there is a restaurant, a coffee kiosk with a delicious coconut water cold brew (wild!), and plenty of shaded sections with swinging chairs. You'll find paintball, basketball, skee ball, a pedal cart for the family, launching devices. I mean, there is a lot! The place is large so it never felt overly crowded. Come with water bottles. Even with the shaded sections it gets hot. They have water fountains by the bathrooms.

If we had waited until we finished golfing, it probably would have just been our two boys in the arena. Instead they got to play with a full group, which made the game way more exciting.
