I was able to enjoy Cherry Crest Adventure Farms on the perfect fall day, and I'll be making a trip here an annual tradition. We spent hours at the farm, and could have stayed even longer. My kids loved everything from the large corn maze to the swings to the games to the playground equipment to the large sandbox filled with corn. My kids were 4 and 6 during our visit, but the farm can easily accommodate older or younger. Two notes; 1. The bathrooms in the back of the farm are new & super clean. 2. Don't feel pressure to purchase the add ones (apple chucking and paintball) - those sections are towards the back of the farm and easily avoidable. There was a variety of food options - a few standard theme park options along with specialty options like homemade ice cream. read more

Such a fun farm to take your family. I've been coming here since my daughter was about 4 years old- she's 14 now. Everyone we come, it does not disappoint. It's such a great time. Buy tickets online- tickets are cheaper. If you go during the week- it's cheaper too! They also have 50% off for active military and veterans, which is a great deal! They have all kinds of games, tug of war ropes, a play area/little town for younger kids, pig races. Some nights they have fireworks or bands. If you come- the corn maze is a must! All types of food vendors like burgers, fries, chicken fingers, ice cream and apple cider donuts. You can spend hours here and not get bored. This. Place. Is. AMAZING!!! We have been to many similar places back home (upstate NY) but none that are this level of pure joy. My 4 year old loved this place for five hours and if I didn't know that she absolutely needed to have a nap (fell asleep 3 mins into the car ride home), we absolutely would have stayed because we didn't even get to see a whole section of this place!! We enjoyed the petting zoo, the potato sack slides, the little village!! (are you kidding me with how adorable that section was?!... a whole little town with shed-sized buildings for kids to play in), trampoline area (very well organized and lets kids on in timed groups so it's never overcrowded on the trampoline), watched pig races, played in the corn pit, and then had to go back to the little village because my daughter couldn't get enough. If you buy tickets online you save $5, so $23 per person for weekday price.. and for this whole place included in (minus food and a few extra things that we didn't even get to see and weren't planning on doing), it is very well priced for what you get. I appreciate them not nickel & diming you. My only complaint was the sassiness we saw from an employee in the bounce area named "Brayden". One of the gates to enter the bounce area had been left open and a few kids ran in without our group being called. He was furious at this happening and really acted unprofessional and rude over it towards the parents... totally uncalled for. We were beyond impressed with Cherry Crest. There's so much to do, I don't even know where to start. Forget hours - you could literally spend days here and not run out of things to do. Our major highlight was the village play area with so much pretend play for kids like an ice cream shop, a diner, a school house and so much more. My three year old also had a blast on the huge trampoline. Everything is so clean, sleek and modern. Even the bathrooms were pretty and we were on a FARM. Food was amazing too. I loved my pickle brined fried chicken sandwich, and my husband's pulled pork was also a hit. Plus a local brewery had a tent set up - yessss. Prices are fair and well worth it considering how much there was to do. We came on a super hot day and it was tough to spend too much time outside. There's plenty of food options but you can also bring your own outside food if you'd like. I like that they have activities for kids of all ages and so many animals and places to take family pictures. This was our first time to visit the farm. We heard about it from our friends and finally got a chance to go out. Have to say that our kids loved it! We got there around 11 am, there was already a great amount of people there. The parking was really easy, staff directed you where to go. We actually first heard of this place because taking the train in the winter time we passed by here and I was like omg we must come back one summer and go there! Skip ahead like a year later and we came here. Day before was spent at an amusement park, but if I had to pick which my son enjoyed more it was definitely this. This place just continues on and on. I thought we'd never leave lol. Seriously we were here hours and hours. Just as I thought we'd be leaving, my son spotted omg something else fun lol. Also my son enjoyed his first porta potty experience here before we even entered :P I only wish he'd experience it again hours later instead of having an accident. I had a great time visiting Cherry Crest on my trip to Pennsylvania! Although it seems to be geared towards children and Family, I still had an awesome experience with my adult friends. I loved running through the Corn Maze and finding all the hidden facts and stamps sprinkled throughout the maze. This gave me more of an incentive to explore the entire map rather than just finding the shortest route. There is also a small cafe and sit down area in the middle incase you need a quick bite or drink. They also have water stations all through out the maze as well. The next time I visit I will need to check out the locomotive ride as I love trains. The food their was amazing as well! I got the Apple Cider donut sunday and use the glass mason cup that came with it on a daily basis for my coffee. Overall I highly checking this place out! read more

Incredibly fun for our whole family! This was the first time we visited and it was a perfect family experience. We purchased the largest package for everyone in our party and were certainly kept busy. There was so much to do including but not limited to: gigantic slides, shooting apples out of cannons, petting/holding barnyard animals, riding bikes and tractors, shooting paintballs, eating delicious snack food, resting in a peaceful swing, engaging in simple diversions around every corner.... We selected 3 incredibly huge pumpkins (combined weight of 124lbs) out of a massive pumpkin patch, learned about farm to table processes for various food products, etc... We loved our experience and look forward to returning next year! The lack of a perfect star rating is due to 2 factors: 1- the lack of indoor space to sit and eat cut our visit short. We had to actually leave early to get a meal because the bees were so bad and my daughter is allergic to. There was no indoor space to enjoy a sit down meal without being swarmed by insects. 2- the bathrooms were questionable with being overcrowded and lacking water pressure for proper sanitation. read more

I loved this place. We finally made it out with my 4 and 2 year old after wanting to try it for a couple years. There is literally so much to do here, looking at the map for this place looks like looking at a map of an amusement park. We did the "farm fun" pass which includes almost everything you can do there. We didn't pay for anything extra. The price is extremely reasonable for what is included. We literally spent all day here. Some of kids favorites were the barnyard jump and the slides. They also sell all the different foods you could want here and we ate lunch here. One of the most if not THE most expensive corn maze in the area. You get a lot for your money. There's decent food and some vegetarian options that I don't remember seeing in 2021 (gluten free bread for 2.50 extra, black bean burger, I think something else). There are various attractions included in your payment such as bouncers, huge slide in a sack, musical performances, unadvertised and hard to sign up for escape room, and much more. There are extras you can pay for or pay for in a package including gem mining (for kids, don't be tricked like I accidentally tricked a friend, haha), apple blasters (shoot apples through a cannon that shoots slowly, but very interactive), paint ball shooter, and battle zone (probably a good way to sample Paintball if you're interested and never have done before). There's food you can pay more for such as slushies including sweet tea slushie and apple cider slushie, hard ice cream, cider donuts, cider donut sundae, fresh lemonade, strawberry lemonade, or orange lemonade (all lemonade flavors are fresh), super fresh, roasted corn, and more. This is a pretty darn cool place - some friends and I went for the Highland cow festival on a whim, not really knowing the kind of place we were headed to, and pleasantly found that this is a whole, large operation. The price of admission was a little steep, but gave access to a varied experience including some barnyard animals, a 5 acre corn maze, farm/outdoor/carnival games, and a host of food/drink options! You need at least three hours to get the value for the admission price, and there's plenty to do that's included at the base price. Any less than three hours and it'll feel rushed. Best for children ages 9 and younger. Lots of dust, dress accordingly. Roasted corn was delicious. Much too crowded, (attendance should be capped off at some point) overpriced ticket admission and not much open space to really walk around freely anymore. They added numerous camp fires : tents etc. It just seems like greed may have taken over. Packing as many people as possible to maximize profit. By doing so, the entire vibe has diminished. You know things are bad when there lines for restrooms... 10-15min wait for a bathroom with a child can be very unpleasant. What an adventure! We came here looking for an adventure and boy did we get one! This is a place for kids of all ages, including the adult kids. There was SO much to do for everyone! Cherry Crest is located on a farm in Ronks. Here you have the ability to see/feed/pet goats, llamas, donkeys, baby chicks, rabbit, pigs, turkey and several other animals. They have a wagon and train you can hop aboard on. The train is a steam engine, which you can't see too often anymore. Tons of games, from shooting hoops, throwing footballs, baseballs, shuffle board, corn hole and numerous other games. Climbing hay stacks, along with lifting them. Pulling tractors. Food and drinks. You can even rent an area to have a birthday party or bonfire. Oh and don't forget the pumpkin patch and the flowers that go on and on as far as the eye can see. As well as the corn maze that can take hours to figure out. This is a place you can not only get lost in, but you'll have a great time doing so. We came with smiles and left with bigger ones. Definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to completely wipeout their kids! This place has so many things to do and everything is spaced out just enough that it's a lot of walking. Today, there were fire trucks and police, which was a nice little extra. If you're lucky you'll see Thomas the train go by from Straussburg RR. [1018] 10/2019 We visited this local establishment due to local Lancaster advertisements. I wish we visited this places years ago as it's definitely a local gem. Plenty of parking but looks like it can be hard to park during busy times. We wanted to come back in the evening for fireworks but decided against it due to expected crowds when the place closed. We did the corn maze which was AWESOME. You can tell it was carefully thought out as they shaped it into an astronaut and Earth shape to celebrate the 50th anniversary of a man landing on the moon. They had cool map pens for sale which my son loved. He was able to use the "map" to navigate thru the maze. It helped so we did not wander. They had apple launcher which were cool. Paint ball area which my men loved. There was a foam nerf shooting area which my son did a few times. The place is huge and just when you think you experience it all ... we take the train and come along another section. The section near the paintball had food but DEFINITELY need more food choices and stations. I could not find anything healthy for myself. It was fried patties or mac and cheese. We ate when we left Cherry Crest which is a shame. There were a ton of people but you couldn't tell. We did a bunch of different "throwing balls" activities... watched a pig race... drank lemonade... kid played in a large playground. This is definitely an all day experience place. Let me start off by saying I have been to dozens of pumpkin patches all over PA and this tops them all. It really is an adventure farm! It reminds me of an amusement park, everywhere you turn there is something fun and exciting to do. For kids this is a dream! They have a tiny little village play area called sproutsville that completely resembles tiny town - so awesome. Right next door are two different sized trampolines based on ages. Huge slides, hay bale mazes carnival type games you name it. Going into the discovery barn section is perfect for the little ones! If you go to the website and to seasons under fall you can see every single thing they offer - the page goes on and on and on. For the adults - WINE SLUSHIES! Saving the day from the slight chaos of a busy Saturday there. Also hidden gem for parents needing a quick break, the corn barn! A sandbox but with corn... totally genius. For the teens there is paintball, tractor pulls, pig races, seriously that's not even the half. ONLY downside, no hayride to the pumpkins. You get a wagon and go pick your own, pricing is definitely a lot higher then expected and half of my pumpkins are already rotting. But could just be the ones we picked! What a great time today! This was our first time here and we had lots of fun. They have plenty of areas for shade and large fans that spray mist to keep you cool. They have so many activities for the kids as well as the adults. Plenty of room to be able to social distance. The pig races and the baby chicks were my favorite. The corn maze is great also because you can choose what type you want to do a 15 min walk, 40 or 2 hour full experience. Plenty of places for hand cleaning. Great time!! read more

I have been coming here for so long I can't even temper when I started. This place is definitely family oriented but there's fun for all age groups. The main attraction is of course the corn maze. I've never been able to finish it but hoping to next year. It's quite a long track and I love that there are different challenges and puzzles to keep you entertained while going through. If you're not up for the corn maze there are shows, playgrounds, smaller challenges pumpkin and sunflower picking etc. Every time I go there's always something new and the place is always very clean and taken care of. Even the attractions that have been there forever don't seem rundown. I plan on coming here for years to come and look forward to creating more memories. :) read more

This was a wonderful experience for my husband, niece, and myself. It was about an hour and a half drive up to PA from Baltimore County. The farm is located in Amish Country and there are so many activities that it can almost become overwhelming, but that's what makes it such a great activity for all age groups. I made the rookie mistake of forgetting sweatshirts for the group so after purchasing our tickets online and checking in at the gate, we set out to find the souvenir store to buy some sweatshirts. We decided to start with the infamous corn maze and figured we could take it easy from there. We did the medium course and found the hints placed throughout to be cute and informative. It was just the right level of difficulty for our group. We also did the pedal carts, hay bale pull, rope tug of war, discovery barn, gem mining, slides, and jumping bounce house. We ate at the farm and got three pizzas, 3 slushes, and a water for a little under $30. We had a great time and will very likely return next year! read more

I enjoyed going through the corn maze, seeing various animals, holding a chick, and having lunch. Cherry crest farm is pretty cool. Lots of stuff unique country/farm stuff for kids to do. The star of the place is the corn maze ($17/pp). We did it at night. It was really fun. The snack shoppe in the center of the maze has coffee, cocoa and cider donuts. You can get tickets for the whole day, which will let you do everything. (Things like petal carts, water pump duck races, etc). I think the prices are a little high, so decide for yourself. read more

You know, this place really shouldn't be as fun as it is. It's sort of like the Seinfeld of tourist attractions. It's a place about nothing. Take a bunch of farming related or themed things which in and of themselves are not outstanding but put them together and viola you have seven hours go by with happy children. The major draw here of course is their giant corn maze. It's broken down into three possible ways you can do it or I suppose you could just wander around and eventually find your way out on your own. If you go Full Monty this will take you multiple hours if you know what you're doing/have a good sense of direction or it will break your balls and have you walking out after two hours with only 3/4 of the fifteen board pieces found (sounds like us, Holla!) although that was partially due to the unreal heat of the past week. Finding all fifteen would be great but not ending up in a body bag due to heat stroke is also great. The rest of the farm is cut into two halves with the Strasburg Railroad bisecting the middle. The part nearest the parking lot is the barn yard half which has things like the giant maze, peddle karts and animal feeding/petting. The other half is the courtyard which has giant inflatable bouncing pillows, air guns that shoot apples at targets (extra cost), slingshots that launch tennis balls and a lot more. In terms of crowds, I've never been on a Saturday and unless you have to I wouldn't recommend it. Weekdays are fairly dead as this past Thursday aside of seven school buses which were only around for part of the day (four of the seven hours CCAF was open) maybe the rest of the crowd number a hundred or two hundred and after three I could count who was left one by one. Like I said in the beginning, the place is hokey beyond belief but somehow every time we come a good time is always had and a return visit is always requested (demanded). The cost varies by when you visit but currently it's $17 per person until mid-September or $25 per person if you buy their pass which allows for unlimited admissions from Memorial Day until mid-September. Hours are normally Tuesday-Friday 10-5 and Saturday 10-7 but that also varies as in June they are only open on Saturday and in September-October they do offer nighttime maze visits until 10pm. read more
