Pretty good price, but the only downside is that there are no returns on accessories, so if it breaks or you bought it as a gift for someone and they don't like it, you can't return it. She tried on a bunch of clothes (way to skimpy for me to wear), but I think they were even too skimpy for HER, and she can wear them well. No hope for me then. All I can say is this chain of stores are the worst ever as far as customer service, store safety and neglect. They put a hazard in the store and as a result I fell and was injured. They give customers the run around, keep changing their policy from moment to moment and day to day. Very shady organization and over the top rude. On principle only - I will never shop any of their stores again and am recommending others do the same. My money will go to honest & honorable shop keepers. read more

This is one of my favorite clothing stores in Santa Barbara. The clothes are cute and trendy, and the overall layout of the store draws me in. Although you have to sort through the sale section that has items with holes or broken zippers, I have found some super cute clothes for a great price! I think the regular price items are affordable, especially for clothes that are more unique in my opinion. read more

I love the clothes here! They're decently priced. The employee at the fitting room was super nice and made me feel totally at ease even when I dropped a shirt. I didn't like how small the fitting room was... It was really tiny! I couldn't tell that two of the employees worked there though... I was looking around trying to find someone to get a shirt for me because it was hung high up... but no one asked me if I needed help. Anyway the employees were all pretty nice nonetheless and the clothes are so cute! The fitting room was not a good experience though. I would shop here again :) read more

I really want to like this place. The store carries a good motley of clothes which takes inspiration from the good side of Brandy Melville's coined style of loose, flowing and flattering clothes, while taking away some of the too juvenile aspects of Brandy's take. That being said, to remark on the service, I've had better service, but the attendants were always friendly and helpful when I visited the store and more or less seem to be doing their job. But I can tell that management is not keeping them on their toes. The dressing room has a print-out sign asking customers to wait for attendants to help them to the appropriate rooms, but more often than not, the attendants will not notice when customers are lined up. There doesn't seem to be any other system than to hunt down attendants should this happen, but it's much easier to help yourself because the doors are open anyway, which makes me wonder about the necessity of the sign. It appears to be as if the protocol would be for the attendants to help customers in, but this protocol is not being kept. I might be generalizing, but I also feel that customers are not feeling that they need to be held accountable for damaging the merchandise when trying them on, because nobody sees who goes into which dressing room. There is certainly less of an inclination to be careful with the clothes, which is made evident by the spanking new merchandise, even the ones displayed front and center, bearing tears and cosmetic stains. I even found a nice lace top smeared all over the front with a terrible foundation stain marked at a sale price for $30. I don't know of any business that practices sales in this manner. I've seen low-end consignment shops that take better care of their merchandise, and quite frankly I feel that customers shouldn't have to pay new merchandise prices for clothes that are obviously in conditions that are even past "used" conditions. Also, the customers should not have to work this hard to make sure that they are getting new clothes that are fully intact in a nice little boutique such as this one. All in all, the buyer for this shop has excellent taste and the store has so much potential. However, the execution is currently sub-par. I strongly encourage management to intercede and turn this shop into what it's supposed to be. Despite my love for the merchandise, I will not be returning to this shop simply because there are other shops that offer similar products for a lot less trouble. read more

Terrible return policy! My daughter purchased something and tried to return it the next day. Garment was not worn, had tags still on it, but they would not refund the purchase price. I spoke with store manager and corporate customer service--no satisfaction! They offered an exchange, but there was nothing else my daughter wanted to buy. We're from the East Coast and have never had a problem like this. I understand that small boutique stores sometimes have tight margins as compared to a franchise, but it seems an item returned w/in 24 hours should be elegible for a refund. This store kinda reminds me of forever21 but with less stuff and definitely more organized. They have a good mix of trendy and basics. The quality doesn't seem that great but given the prices it's okay. These are things you won't wear for forever but are great to add to your wardrobe to complete outfits. The location is great in the downtown area where there are a TON of shops and restaurants. Definitely a great area to spend the afternoon shopping. read more

We visited the store for the first time over spring break while we were camping in Carp and needed to go prom dress shopping. We found this white dress and bralet and bought them just in case (I was concerned it might not be dressy enough even though the prom was near the beach). Trendy casual styles for a younger crowd. Clean, well-lit and organized store. Santigold playing in the background. I found a suuuuuuper cute outfit for casually knocking around town. Because of the variety in labels I had to try multiple sizes, which were available, and which the staff gladly retrieved for me while I waited in the dressing room. They were quick about it too. I recently visited Santa Barbara and spent a few nights at the Canary Hotel. This store was within walking distance on State Street, a street made for shopping! I found the items cute and well priced. The sales clerks (two of them and I was the only customer) never once acknowledged me. I had selected items to purchase, but I just can't give my money to a company that won't offer a greeting or a little polite chit chat. I set my selections down and walked away. At one point I was shopping accross a table from the two employees, one giving the other directions. They seemed too busy with tasks to offer service. Can any store in this economic market place really afford to ignore customers? Customers are temporary, tasking is permenant. It is retail 101. Very bad customer service and very offensive to us as a customer. After the wife and I spent our anniversary there we decided to do some last minute shopping. Well much to our surprise when we went into this store my wife found a dress in the 50% off section and another similar to that one...which was torn. When we went to pay for it there was no tag on the dress so we took the torn one and the store manager or the one that pretended to be, named Madi, implied that we had taken the dress and put it in the clearance section! She rang us up full price and said that its not her fault that the dress was placed there and there is nothing she can do. When we decided to go look for the dress in the regular section of the store, much to my surprise there were no other dresses like the one that we had just purchased . We asked another associate that works there if she can help us find the dress we just purchased and she could not find it but came back stating that the reason we could not find it was because that was the last one and which is why we found it in the clearance section. We explained the situation to her and she was very nice and willing to at least offer some discount to us for the dress being in the discount area ....in a way for false advertising. But when she was getting ready to do so the so called Madi stopped her and proceeded to call the manager or owner stating that we demand a discount on a dress that was in the discount area. She was extremely rude and implying all along that we had something to do with this. After we stated that there were no other dresses like the one we just purchased anywhere in the store except that discount area she stated that the dress was a new dress and should have not been there. So after she insisted on the dress being in the main floor and us searching and finding no other dress like it in stock or on a rack in the regular section she finally ended the conversation stating that the dress was new and regular price. Mind you the dress had no price tag and the only one that was there with the tag was the ripped one with a discount. Needless to say we asked for a refund and she said we cannot recieve one..store policy and we were not given a discount at all nor did they honor the false advertisement. The one unprofessional Madi was very rude and insulting by insinuating we had done something to try and manipulate this transaction. Overall to my opinion I think they purposely set merchandise in that section so when you do purchase it and realize the discount isn't there they, Madi and similar , tell you that there are no refunds and cannot give you your money back...store policy. The store left us with a very bad experience...one that i dont wish on anyone! That Madi girl thinks she is doing the store a service but in reality is doing a disservice to the store and the entire Santa Barbara community! read more
