I don't live around here so I'm not familiar with the area. I found a BBQ food truck on yelp while searching for a place for lunch and it happened to be parked here. What a cool place! There were several food trucks and a covered area with picnic tables with buckets of napkins. The covered area also had a full bar with a large beer selection on tap, darts, tvs, corn hole, fans, heaters and there was even a putting green beside it. The patio was surrounded by astroturf where people had blankets on the ground for picnics with the kids. Also very dog friendly. Fun place for adults, pets and kids. The whole vibe was like a backyard BBQ. Relaxed and fun. I'll make the drive to go visit this place again. read more

With roughly half a dozen food trucks to choose from, give or take, and countless drinks on tap, alcoholic and non, Deacon B's is more an oasis than an ice house. Moreover, the folks here are family-oriented and tied into the community. You can see kids running around and having a good time, but not getting into trouble or in anybody's way. People bring their dogs to hang out with them and enjoy a bowl of water. My wife and I split a meaty pie from Dizzy Pizza and a juicy patty melt from a burger truck (can't remember the name). It was all more than indulgent and extremely gratifying. We waited an hour or so then had decadent shakes from Shake U Up. I had a Banana Fo Fana which included a whole Twinkie and an entire chocolate dipped frozen banana. She had a very involved chocolate-peanut butter shake. Kid friendly, but most of the kids are left unsupervised while the parents drink and ignore their behavior. When the weather is as nice as it has been lately you have to get out and enjoy it while you can. We all know what is coming. And it's not Winter. I must say though even in the heat of the summer with the large covered area and the ginormous fans it's not as hot here as you would expect. During the week the beer is a little less expensive than over the weekend and the wait for the Greek truck is way shorter. We live close enough to take advantage of this place during the week. Even in a school night. (Wife is a teacher). Now the best part. The food. I don't think we have ever been and not had The Greek Squad. The Hummus is exceptional but the gyro is our go to for sure. We opt for the Tejas version of this "sandwich". In addition to the traditional tzatziki sauce they add pico de gallo and a light queso to give it a TX tang that is pure joy. On this occasion we also split a burger from Wiches on Wheels. It's hard to screw up a burger and it's equally as hard to make one stand out. This one stood out. I forget the name of it but it had perfectly caramelized chopped onions, sautéed mushrooms, two different cheeses, and BACON. The best part for me was that they do not add any cold veggies to get in the way of the meat delivery. Love this place, however Slappy's wasn't there nor were a few other trucks. We had a hankering for PoBoy, but switched to Gyros. I asked what happened to Slappy's; was told they left on good terms and DB would like them to return but did say Slappy's wanted to try another venue..Bummer. We all had Gyros from Greek Squad and all were pleased. It was a weeknight and not busy!!! We left and later on realized I didn't have my phone. It is 11:36p, we now live in rural Magnolia and the person who answered said it was behind the bar. We love coming to DB! But the 2 stars are for the bar NOT THE FOOD TRUCKS! They do not know how to quickly move beer and cocktails. Everyone is nice but man are they slow behind the bar! I had a really great experience here. There were only two people manning the bar and it turns out that's just the right amount. We grabbed a section of a picnic table and really enjoyed our time here. They have plenty of beer options are they are color coded based on beer types. This definitely made my decision making process significantly easier. It was kind of chilly today so the indoor heaters were a HUGE bonus. They also had food trucks that change, it is nice to have a variety of food all in one area. It's also a huge family place. There must've been at least 8 babies here and loads of kids. A friend had brought me here as opposed to going to our routine weekday/weekend hotspots. I had no idea this was a food truck spot. Man, that Wiches On Wheels truck, which also owns the one adjacent to it, is absolutely amazing. UMAMI to the tenth exponent. We ordered the Misteak sandwich, which had a raspberry jam, bacon, steak, rosemary sauce. We also went to their sister truck and ordered the Southbound 35 pizza. Chorizo, steak, honey onion, cilantro, and Mexican cream. They also have desserts, which we didn't have room for. The park itself is all open seating, and all of the trucks accept cash/credit. They also sell beer and sodas. Parking fills up pretty quickly. This is a fun little food truck park with different vendors. Highly recommend. However, they do allow pets. read more

I always have a ranging good to great experience when I come here. They keep a great selection of craft beer on tap at reasonable prices and have a great atmosphere. Despite it being essentially a pavilion, they have fans and heaters, and in the winter or bad weather they'll close the plastic wall flaps. I've tried most of their regular food trucks as well as a few visitors and have never disliked any of them. We visited this past Sunday, and despite them saying they're open until 9, all of their regular food trucks closed their windows by 6:30. The only one left open was a Chicago hot dog truck, so we all ordered from there and LOVED it. The bar ended up staying open a bit later due to the OT of the football game. Great customer service! They have a good happy hour during the week, and the bartenders are normally very helpful in making beer recommendations. read more

I am so disappointed in how an altercation was handled. An extremely drunk patron was mouthing off to our table and proceeded to throw a beer in someone's face. The "security bouncer" came up and threw up his hands and said he didn't see anything. We then decided to leave because we were so appalled that he was able to stay and we watched as the disorderly patron continued to eat crawfish and play darts. We then asked how that is allowed and the response was "we watched him call an uber" 45 minutes later he was still there enjoying himself. It is so sad and extremely unacceptable that this was allowed and they would allow this inebriated person to stay in the establishment. I am impressed! Tuesday was $2 Old School Beers night and I slaughtered the Schlitz and Lonestar. Dont worry; there selections were extensive. The food trucks were so attractive that it took 30min to order. The sheer amount of kids present made the place feel really chill and family-ish. With an outside setting and table space, my entire family of six had a blast in the midst of busy time while feeling like we had privacy.
