Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread & Pinot Grigio
    Sherri R.

After meeting the owner, I had to check this place out. It is a nice neighborhood hang out. I chose to sit on the patio, have a glass of wine, dinner and read a book. The service was exceptional. The 3 different people working came out and checked on me frequently. The Bacon Ranch Flatbread was good with a nice blend of flavors. I had the house Pinot Grigio and really enjoyed it. In fact, it might have been the best house P.G. I've had. The prices were what I expected for the current inflationary times. I would recommend this for a gathering of friends or a date night hangout. I love neighborhood places where they get to know you and you get to know them. This may become my place to get away with a book as the patio was quiet enough to read.

    Tequila Sunrise! AMAZING

I am constantly in Texas for work and spend a lot of my weekends there for convenience. This is now my go to place! I am so tired of dealing with traffic and going to Houston for a decent place but the grove wine and whiskey is incredible. You can tell the owners put a lot of hard work and dedication to this place, it looks incredible. It's so cozy and welcoming! I ordered a tequila sunrise and it was delicious and so cute. I ordered the hummus flight which was to die for and the bruschetta was insane. The employees were all so amazing. I had the honor of meeting the owners when I went and they were so kind, told us about what inspired them to create a spot for everyone. I will be back and I recommend everyone goes. This place is amazing! I can't wait to make this my go to weekend spot after a long week of work or after work spot. I absolutely loved the ambiance, I loved the people, the music was great. It's incredible.

    Pumpkin spice martini & churros

Had cocktails and churros there with my husband. They were both quite good. Service was prompt. Was not crowded. Ambiance was casual. I did not order a whiskey-based drink, but thought the prices for the drinks were reasonable (not cheap, but certainly not extremely pricey, either). Was a good place for a casual date night, & we will visit again.

I was going to a Dave Matthews show at the Pavillon and wanted to grab dinner beforehand, so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity. I got to Market Street about an hour and a half before the concert started, and quickly became really nervous when I discovered the Market Street was apparently now Grand Central Station in New York City. Every human being on Earth was also here and the area was buzzing. After hunting forever, I finally got a parking spot and hustled down to the restaurant, only to be told it would be a 30 minute wait. Not good! However, just in the time it took me to sit down and scan through my phone for a last minute pivot to a new restaurant, my name was called. My 30 minute wait turned into a 5 minute wait and it could not have been more clutch. But because I was still in a bit of a hurry, I was ready and ordered the Trophy Burger as soon as my server came to greet me. And as was the theme of the night so far, said trophy burger was at my table within a few minutes. And because this was a solo mission for me, said trophy burger was in my belly in only about the time it took for them to cook it. My thoughts on the burger is that it was perfectly 4-stars. In between average and amazing. One thing that really stands out is that it was a messy undertaking. Don't eat this on a date before you're comfortable with the other person seeing you with sauce constantly all over your face and spilling onto your plate. Everything was all happening at such hyper speed that I even had time to order the dessert. I love Reeces, so when I saw a Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cup on the menu, I couldn't resist. You'll never believe it, but it was on my table within 2 minutes. My rating for this ranges from bite to bite. Some bites were amazing and others were just okay, depending on which ingredients were within that spoonful. Overall, I wouldn't need to order it again, but no regrets on trying it out. This is a nice addition to Market Street, and the back-of-house deserves a healthy share of the tips with how on top of it they were during a night with a packed house!

Well, the first time we were having ice cream at Handel's and was drawn in by how amazing the food smelled. We placed an order at the hostess stand. The young lady was great. My father in law like to makes people laugh at any opportunity. She was so much fun, she even made jokes as a reply. It's nice to see someone who is lighthearted and personable. The second time I ordered was through Yelp using Grub hub. I ordered crawfish as a part of my order. Shortly after placing the order, I received a call from the GM to notify me that they are no longer selling crawfish as it's out of season. He quickly offered to substitute, which I quickly opted for the beef taquitos. Shorty after the call, my order arrived. The food was exceptional! 5/5 Charro Beans- A must try if you like any type of beans. The flavor was so delicious and well developed. 5/5- Guacamole- freshly made to order! It was so fresh, no need to add a thing, we just opened it and enjoyed. Every element was so fresh, from the tomatoes, to the cilantro and lime. 5/5- Wings- Where should I begin? I ordered the lemon pepper/hot with the crema dipping sauce. They were cooked perfectly, not over or under cooked...simply perfect. 5/5- Beef taquitos- Delicious, the beef was flavorful and will be an item I order every time I visit. The addition of the toppings complete the perfect bite. Lettuce tomato and crema coupled with the perfectly fried tortilla was outstanding.

And let me tell you--that shift made all the difference. It gave us the relaxed, low-pressure vibe we needed to actually talk and enjoy each other's company without feeling rushed or crowded. We ordered a round of drinks and a few appetizers: Three pepper queso (definitely a win) Cheeseburger egg rolls (yes... and yes again) Crab egg rolls (...we'll just say these didn't make the highlight reel) Everything hit except the crab egg rolls--they just weren't giving what they were supposed to give. What I really liked about this spot is that it's not just a sit-and-eat place--it's an experience. They've got pool tables, basketball hoop games, cornhole, and even karaoke studios. We didn't tap into that this time, but trust--we already said next visit is game night. There's also outdoor seating if you want to switch up the vibe. Overall, this was a great place to close out a first date. Good energy, plenty to do, and enough flexibility to make the night what you want it to be. We'll definitely be back... and next time, somebody's getting beat in cornhole
