Came here for dinner with a group of friends this weekend and overall had a decent experience. Our server was super sweet and obviously the margaritas were good. The food was pretty decent, I got the quesadillas which almost reminded me of an empanada! Only complaint was that service was super slow. We only had two parties ahead of us for a table and it took an hour to be seated even though there were plenty of empty tables that just needed to be cleared off.

Delicious! Amazing ambiance, great service, incredible food and drinks. With a growing line at the hostess stand, they were able to find us a table for two inside. Food came out fast! Like, really fast. Not sure how, but they did. Almost every seat was filled. Saw young people, families with young kids, older people...Don't know how we haven't visited the place already! Decent parking lot across the street (though fills fast), otherwise find street parking.

Wowsers! This place is ON POINT!!! We came here with friends who are local and they know their stuff! The service was very good and the food was even better. Special call outs for me on the queso, which is one of the best I've ever eaten, and the Spicy Pineapple Margarita. The restaurant was lively (we ate inside) but not too loud, as they have several separate eating areas and that helps keep the noise down a bit, which is great! You can still enjoy chatting with friends but it's not shouting level loud. All of the items I had were gluten free, and that is amazing. The blue corn tortilla was phenomenal. Highly recommend this spot and I advised my friends that every time we visit now, we must come here on our way back to the airport! A new ritual!

The drinks were good but the service could have been better. They told us the table we were sitting at was reserved and said we had to move somewhere else but didn't direct us to where when we asked. So we moved to another table across the alleyway and they told us and other people to move again too! First of all there were no reserved signs on any tables. Also, what kind of place allows you to buy drinks and not have anywhere to sit/stand? The workers didn't even know where to direct anyone so we just chugged our drinks and left.

Inside by the restaurant - they have outside seating too but it was a rainy night

This place was popping! Everybody was here!! What a fun spot to be! So we stopped by on our way to dinner- hoping we could stay- but there was a 1 hour wait so make a reservation!!! We were not able to taste their delicious food and just had some chips and drinks by the bar on our way. Still: the atmosphere here was great, service was fast considering the place was so full! And the crowd was super young and trendy. We will definitely be back to try their food: it looked so good and we have heard great things. Until Next time! Enjoy but make a reservation!!

Tamales, birria tacos, barbacoa taco, carnitas taco

Pro tip: order the tamales, only available on Sat & Sun. Oh man. Every thing we ordered -- chef's kiss. The birria tacos were a great portion, filled with a sufficient amount of good tasting meat. From the queso and guac (fantastic) to the barbacoa tacos, everything did just have a great taste. Will absolutely be back and, certainly, when we have visitors to get a great taste of Austin. Sufficient seating, inside and out, despite having "hole in the wall" vibes.

The tacos are very good. Love the freshly made corn tortillas and the use of fresh ingredients. You can easily tell that they are paying attention to the details. Flavors are very good. Chips and guacamole were good but I felt the portion size was on the lighter side particularly with the accompanying salsa. Service was friendly and fast.

Everyone kept talking about this place- a friend mentioned it, we went to watch an interview with the Poppi crater and she said this was her favorite place in Austin, everyone in the audience cheered. We had to come here. There is not a lot of parking, so we had to park on the street behind the restaurant, but there was blocked window glass everywhere. I counted 14 different windows on the street. So now I'm paranoid sitting at the restaurant thinking someone is going to break into my car while I'm eating. We were road tripping and all of our luggage was in the car. We were sat immediately, and helped quickly. We were paranoid about the car so we tried to get our order in asap. The food came out quickly. Good news and not so good news-the vegetable taco and sweet potato tacos were amazing, mouthwatering, soft, warm! The rice and beans were very generic, no flavor, and seasoning. The tacos were so good, but with the parking issues and paranoia of having a car break in, I don't see myself coming back again. I'm just paranoid though.

We arrived around noon and the restaurant was completely packed, inside and outside. It was also near the end of the route for the Austin marathon. They were fast and efficient getting us in to a table, gave us our timeline and were efficient enough to serve us completely and turn the table on time. Everyone worked together to make sure that this worked! The food is incredible! I love the margaritas and the quesadilla, chicken chipotle is my favorite! Love it here, every time!

A friend recommended we try De Nada Cantina on our trip to Austin, and it was so good we ended up going back twice. That says everything. The food is solid and definitely hits the spot, but the margaritas are STRONG and so good. Truly some of the best margs we had on the trip. If you are looking for a fun night with great drinks, this is the place. It is kind of a hole in the wall vibe, but absolutely packed. It really felt like the place to be. Such a fun hidden gem and I am so glad it was recommended to us. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Austin

REVOLCADOS CON POTATOES AND the BIRRIA CON HUEVOS Y QUESO

Came here for a nice brunch with friends. Such a great spot with outdoor seating with the best atmosphere and amazing staff to help you order just what you need. This time we tried the BIRRIA CON HUEVOS Y QUESO (Smoked Birria, Consume, Scrambled Eggs,Sauteed Onions, Cilantro, Monterey Jack) and the REVOLCADOS CON POTATOES (Carnitas, Scrambled Eggs, Potato Hash, Poblano & Onion) both were so good and they have the coffee shop next door on the menu so you can get an assortment of beverages for your meal pairing! Highly recommend getting your next weekend brunch here!

De Nada Cantina is one of those spots my friends and I end up at constantly -- and for good reason. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is on point. The green lighting and lush interior make it feel like you've been transported straight to the Yucatán Peninsula, not just grabbing tacos in Austin. The service is excellent every single time. Friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming, even when the place is buzzing. And yes... the drinks are famous for a reason. The margs are STRONG and dangerously delicious, the kind where you take a sip and immediately understand the hype. Absolute must-order. As for the food, the tacos are some of the best in town -- super flavorful, well-executed, and consistently satisfying. Everything just hits especially the carnitas tacos which I go back to every time. This is a go-to spot for me and my friends, whether we're kicking off a night or just craving really great tacos and cocktails.

TL;DR: Pricy overall but good food and vibes. I might come back if I am in the area. Food: I ordered 3 tacos: Carnitas, Verduras, and Camarones Pibil. I also had the cucumber skinny margarita. I really enjoyed the tacos as they were a decent size for the price of around ~$5-6 each. I would especially order the camarones and verduras tacos again. The shrimp in the camarones taco is very flavorful and soft. I was pleasantly surprised with the mushroom pico in the verduras -- the mushroom flavor is quite noticeable and works well with the zucchini. The margarita was $14, and I do not think I would order it again for the size. The cup is not very large, and it was just alright. I would rather order two more tacos! Service: It's quick and to the point. You look at the menu from a QR code, and the waiter comes around pretty often. They were very on top of refilling water and asking if you need anything, which was very nice. Ambiance: We sat outside, so it is hard to give a fair representation. Despite the cold, it was not too bad though as there were heat lamps near each table.

I felt the vibe instantly, like as soon as I put one foot in the door. Magical, sophisticated, worldly, wonderful and more were the feelings that spontaneously hit me. The dark and elegant decor, lighting, design, & layout made me feel as though I were in a high-end Tokyo cocktail lounge. The front room as I mentioned is an intimate bar and lounge area with artwork adorning the walls. It's a modern, minimalist, and sleek space. The artwork is ever-changing (every couple of months or so) and the cocktail menu changes right long with it. Note: artwork is available for purchase. What an absolutely glorious way of combining different mediums (liquid art vs physical art). The craft cocktails & mocktails are the epitome of works of art. I've had great cocktails and mocktails elsewhere but honestly I'd be hard pressed to find anything on this level. You're taken into an entirely different realm just watching the genius of mixologists. It's mesmerizing watching them hone their craft. In the back of the lounge is an enclave of eclectic art and other pieces that then leads you to Konbini, the sushi bar. It's an industrial, warehouse vibe with a long counter that screams hip, Tokyo inspired, late-night eatery. Service is impeccable and welcoming at this cosmopolitan venue. It's truly an amazing experience.

Only food I tried was the Tofu Chip which was delicious as well. Also got the Milky drink and it went down just as smoothly. All in all great place, just popped in for my second time in the past three days. The vibe was chill and laid back. Dim lighting and good music.

What I expect out of champagne. We got a philippe jouan (aka pinot noir) bottle which was so delicious. For food, we got the baguette and a egg confit dish that was divine. Then wrapping up, we got a single glass of produttori del barbaresco and capellano barolo. These were super old wines from the 80s and boy were they screaming tertiary notes. Awesome experience. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, we spent around $270 for a bottle of pinot noir, two glasses of really old wine and a sneak peek bite of their tasting menu. Will be back to try more wines and food.
