It's a small town, I expected a little bit of wait & had the patience to do so. Super glad once I received my food. And now this is my go to when in superior. The first time I got the chicken and broccoli Alfredo! It was soooo good! I ended up going back the next day and got the wings. EVEN BETTER! The honey hot definitely is my favorite. Enjoyed it more than the Buffalo. My daughter is a wing addict so now I'll be busting a mission to have her try them. After spending several hours at Boyce Thompson, we wanted to check out a local food joint in Superior as we were hungry. We saw D'Marcos along US-60 and decided to stop in. I guess we must have caught it on an off day or something... When we entered a friendly server greeted us and told us to sit anywhere we'd like. It took her about 10 min to bring menus and about another 10 to bring drinks. Our food too over 30 min to arrive and our entrees came out before the appetizer. The server was super nice and warm but she seemed spread a bit thin as she was waiting on several tables, scooping ice cream, and packaging to go orders all by herself. We ordered the appetizer sampler, which was four very small pieces of zucchini sticks, four burnt and super greasy onion rings, two frozen mozzarella sticks, and four tiny mushrooms. All of it was super greasy and for $14, I expected this to be better. The presentation was awful as it was these pieces of small fried grease in this big basket and the paper underneath was soaked with grease. I ordered a 12" white pizza with broccoli and a tossed salad. The salad came without olives and the lettuce was super watery so it had very little flavor. The server was nice enough to bring me some olives on the side but they had very little flavor. The white pizza came out as a cheese pizza with red sauce, broccoli, and bacon. I told the server that I ordered a white pizza and she walked back to the kitchen and then came back with it saying it was correct. I pointed out the bacon and she replied, "oh, did you not want bacon?" Umm, no I didn't, that's why I didn't order it. She then tried to tell me that their white pizza didn't have a white sauce and that it would come with a house made red garlic sauce. Ummm, then that's just a cheese pizza at that point. Anyway, the kitchen remade it the correct way except they forgot the oregano and the pizza was slightly underdone. It also lacked flavor so I had to add salt, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes to give it some flavor. The crust was decent and the highlight of the meal was the dinner roll that came with the salad. They make them in house and it was really good...had a nice olive oil flavor and it tasted homemade. My boyfriend had the boiled chicken sandwich and he said it was really good. I'm glad he liked his because for $75 after tip, it would have sucked if we both left unhappy. We received the tab and despite the super slow service and multiple mess ups, they didn't comp anything or offer to make any of their mistakes right. We were in the restaurant for about 90 min, most of that was waiting. Gordon Ramsay needs to visit this place to get it back on track. read more

My wife and I stopped in yesterday for lunch after seeing a segment on Arizona Highways television show. We used to always stop at this location (previously a Dairy Queen) anytime we travelled thru Superior so thought it was a great excuse to try the new restaurant. We were both totally delighted with the food and service on our visit. We each had a different Philly Cheese steak and they were incredible, especially on the home-made Italian bread that is made from scratch each day! I would highly recommend it to anyone local or passing thru Superior as this is a real gem! We sat outside on the covered patio with our small dog and it was perfect. Will not hesitate to stop here again and try additional items on the menu. read more

Terribly disappointing. Went here based on seeing them on Az Highways and hearing the owner talk about their homemade food. Didn't start off well when asking the waitress a few questions and her response was "I don't know, I don't work in the kitchen ." That was the answer. After almost 40 minutes, Wife's dish came out, at best, lukewarm and my meat sauce was the worst I've ever had. Italian salad dressing was store bought, at an Italian restaurant. Only homemade dressing was ranch which was like water it was so thin. Really bad experience. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

Not sure what happened the day we dined here - our waitress was very friendly and apologetic for everything, but otherwise a little clueless in other aspects and full blame goes to the kitchen for how they get food out (or not). It took quite a while just to be asked what we'd like to drink, and others in the restaurant got a little vocal for their slow service as well (some just wanting to get ice cream and leave). The appetizer came out after our entrees, and was massively overpriced for just a few greasy bites (basically $1 per zucc, mozz, etc). The "white pizza" came out with red sauce and bacon - CLEARLY the wrong item, but it took quite an education to get that point across. The one redeeming factor was my chicken sandwich - absolutely ginormous, and even eating the second half cold at home it was still fantastic. Update: Eric has reached out to me with some clarification and a partial refund; I appreciate the gesture, and hope for better days for De Marco's and Superior. read more

When we drive home from the mountains we always order a pizza when we're in Globe and pick it up 30 minutes later. Even my MIL couldn't wait to get to the Valley to eat it. She doesn't have much of an appetite so it was nice to see her grab a second piece and smile. You can ask for simple changes like a little thicker crust and they are happy to do so. read more

Stopped in here on Saturday. It wasn't busy, which is good as this place is pretty small. The food was great, the service was ok. We ordered the twisted garlic bread, hitt wings, and made Marco's Special. The garlic bread was just ok and the sauce was just a little on the sweet side for me. The wings were excellent, which is a good thing since they are charging $1.75 per wing due to the wing shortage. The pizza was also really, really good. The toppings were super flavorful. Cheese Steak Is awesome! Get it with the right cheese (White American) Its creamier and goes better with the steak than provolone. it's the real Philly Way. And with the fresh De Marcos bread (made with pizza dough) i think, It's so crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. a perfect combo. A must try. read more

Update as of 8/12/19: came back on slow Monday for the cheesesteak. The bread was baked the same day and was so delicious yet again. The sandwich is still the best cheesesteak I've had. Just as good as it's long standing "sister" restaurant in Globe. There are not many sit down restaurants in the area , so this place is a true oasis. The pizza here is some of the best in Arizona . Great crust , not greasy . Good Mediterranean toppings, like green olives, anchovies &pesto . Also white pizza . Good chicken parm. House-made bread for subs & dinner rolls . Lots of toppings on the dinner salads . It's the "little extras"that make things nice ! They have good Bryers' ice cream , including Spumoni . The cannoli is not to be missed . This was absolutely the WORST Restaurant I have ever been in, which is surprising based on the positive reviews. We walked in as a family of four to a restaurant full of filthy tables. A young female waitress looked at us with a blank expression and said, are you trying to sit in? We responded yes, and then she stared at us and finally started cleaning a table. That should've been our signal to leave, but we just figured she was having an off moment. We waited 10 minutes for her to bus a table and then she sat us and disappeared for another 10 minutes. She finally came and took our drink orders with no expression, limited to no eye contact and a complete attitude, which was surprising to us. It was like we were a real inconvenience to her. We received our drinks which were water and lemonade. The water cups were full Of soap and the outside of the cups were grimy, but of course we couldn't request new cups because she was no where to be found until she dropped off our pizza. She then stated "we have no plates" and handed us these silver platters meant to cook pizza and bread or something along those lines, which were COVERED IN BLACK GRIME, which we pointed out and she made a face and disappeared. She came back 5 minutes later while we sat staring at the pizza with nothing to put it on and simply reported, sorry no plates. SHOCKED. I said, well can we get napkins or something? And she seemed angry at the request, took off then dropped napkins off at the end of our table. What is crazy to me was we were one of the two parties in the restaurant. She couldn't have cleaned off some plates or bussed some of the filthy tables to give us something proper to eat on? I've never been in restaurant that required me to eat from the pizza pan... she let us sit for quite awhile and then I finally had to get up and ask her what the process was for paying or could we get our check, which she was originally trying to ignore me standing at the counter. It was the worst experience I have ever had. Truly. Please retrain your staff. Smaller businesses require community and good service to keep them running. I've never had to leave reviews but this time I am for the sake of peoples time , we came to dine in , when we walked in no one greeted us in just stared at us , then we asked if we could eat outside and she sounded hesitant on if we could or not and proceeded with it's a bit wet outside , we said it's okay we could wipe it down , she was very unprofessional. I work at a restaurant and I'm a server myself and whatever my customers want they get ! She took our drink order and stayed talking to someone inside for 10 minutes while we were waiting , she took our order and said "your order comes with a salad what dressing do you want" I asked which dressing do you have , she got annoyed and rolled her eyes and named them all irritated , just overall was very unprofessional, at this point she had already shown poor service and I went inside to ask if she could just make our order to go and she had not even put our order up instead she felt it was more important to be laughing and talking with this male that was having a few beers inside , idk if you'd call this complaining but my experience wasn't the best and for those who decide to come , I thought I'd share a little of what to expect . I thought that was the end....not even close , so I go inside to pay for my bill as we wait for our food to be done and the guy who's taking shots and drinking beers , gets up as the phone is ringing and walks to the back to answer the phone...hold up wait a minute...drinking while working or idk what you would call that , but WHAT ??? Tipped x% just because even without being waited on at a table. got the food and went right home to eat. opened the box and discovered not only dod i not receive the Garlic/parm fries but the regular fries i was given were barely warm and were not at all fresh. Called to let them know and was told that it was written down but the cook must have missed it. Told i could come back to have them swapped out. But after working a ten hour day didnt feel like dealing with it. Asked if they could do anything else and was told she would just tell the cook about it. that was it. The burger patty was small with a huge slice of onion and huge slice of tomato. Wont be wasting $20 for a bacon cheeseburger and cold messed up fries there ever again. Could have offered to refund me the difference or offered a future credit. But instead was given the blame game without a reasonable resolution. Who wants to drive back across town after a ten hour shift when you just sit down to eat. Second bad experience there with food. I was sorely disappointed when DQ left town but, after the De Marco crew took over and settled in, they proved themselves a very worthy replacement. Convenient spot right off the highway past Boyce Thompson. Quite a diverse menu for Italian. I got the Green Chile Philly Cheesesteak. It was delicious. The steak was high quality and the bread was that much more amazing-- assume they make it in house! The chicken Alfredo was also very good (couldn't tell if the noodles were made in house but perfectly prepared). The server was sweet as well making some horchata for me to drink! read more
