We came at the suggestion of a friend. The place is cute with the comic book & sci fi decor. The Raising Arizona burger looked delicious when it arrived. Looks can be deceiving. The toppings on the burger were the only good thing about it. The Beyond burger had mustard that tasted off and there was no mayo. The bun was hard and dry. I was hoping for homemade fries in a place like this, not shoestring frozen fries that taste like they were purchased from Fry's store brand. The shakes were ok. For the about the same price as Culver's or Red Robin, I was expecting a better quality burger. I guess for Globe it is a high quality burger place. I should not compare it to Phoenix Metro restaurants. The staff were nice and pleasant and we didn't wait long. read more

Cute little place that is much more than burgers and fries. Most of got just that and missed the two other menus with Asian rice bowls and Mediterranean dishes. I went with the Arizona Cheesesteak where Hatch chiles liven up the sandwich. It was a monster. The shoestring fries were a little dry oddly. It is right across from the school so be prepared for a big lunchtime rush of kids. I don't know if I will ever be back in Globe but I would return to try the other menus. read more

This is our go-to spot for food anytime we drive through Globe. The burgers are fresh and incredibly flavorful and the fries are exactly what you want to add to the meal. We looked up "burgers" and we were so glad it lead us to Nurd Berger! We had excellent service. We loved the small, community feel of the diner inside. Our food was great! I had the Marston burger which had jalapeños, an onion ring, bacon, cheese and bbq sauce and it was really tasty. We enjoyed our visit here a few weeks ago, so stopped for lunch on our way through town again. This time I ordered a chicken sandwich with a lettuce wrap and onion rings. We came here to try the famous burgers. This place is of course super popular and there is very limited space for how popular they are for locals and travelers. We got the one up burger and another burger that was like a rodeo burger. Despite the fries being incorrect and a smaller portion than expected, the shoestring fries were better than I expected. I like softer fries than crispy ones so I ordered the crinkle cut but received the shoestring. I was luckily pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't say it's the best burger ever, but I do think the patty flavor and size were pretty darn good. I would definitely recommend the burger for the patty as the star of the show. The onion rings were fried well and they tasted fresh. I'm glad to have checked it off of our foodie too do list and I'd recommend it to all to at least try once. read more

So.... Globe is pretty small.... I was glad to see a place open that had unique and yummy items on the menu! Let's get to the point though! 10/10 loved the shake! The chicken sandwich was dry and I'd probably recommend a burger. Gluten free and dairy light. It's a 3/5 for me. This place is a staple for solid good food. I've been here under many hunger conditions without disappointment. I typically get Raising Arizona. It's my favorite. But there are a few things I'd personally change. Some canned green chili has a certain flavor. It's good but other canned or jarred brands are better. The bacon is good but thick. I like thin bacon on my burger. These are personal preferences so you may love or dislike it. But the overall cook of the burger is great. They offer lettuce wraps. Which I appreciate. Ask for it on a plate rather than a basket. Easier to eat. The fries are shoe string. My preferred type. I like the atmosphere. Quirky and nerdy. It's a solid place and globe is lucky to have it. What an awesome find in Globe! We stopped here on our way out to Safford/Thatcher and after eating here, I'm so happy I found this place on Yelp! The food is really good and they have something for everyone including vegans/vegetarians! The place itself was very eclectic and has a gamer theme to it. I particularly enjoyed the super Mario decor out on the patio! I had the vegetarian burger which was extremely flavorful and cooked just right. We usually stop by a fast food joint on our way to our cabin in Show Low. However we didn't have the kids with us this trip and decided to try something different. I found this place on Yelp and it sounded fun and delicious. The place is decorated with a Star Wars and video games motif. It has a fun and cool vibe. We tried this place over the weekend. Tried calling in our order but nobody answered. We took a chance and drove over; the ordering process is very easy. Waited outside for about 10 minutes and received our food. The cheeseburgers were excellent, very juicy. We prefer a flamed broiled. The bun was good and the grilled onions were a delicious topping. I'm not sure what happened to my beloved Nurd Berger but we came here today for lunch. It wasn't busy by any stretch of the imagination. It took over an hour to get one burger, split for me and the wife and an order of onion rings. There was a group right in front of us that had 3 adults and a couple kids. The poor gal working the counter was only bringing one burger out at a time, finally one of the ladies in that group just told her to make the rest to go as some of the group was already done eating. I felt sorry for the counter girl as it clearly wasn't her fault but the kitchens. They seemed to be only able to cook one burger at a time. The food was as good as always, but man they need to seriously do something to speed the kitchen up. It will be awhile before we go back, which I hate because we love the food. Honestly very disappointed with the food I received. The other day I got food for a coworker and I and I ordered a moltres chicken sandwich which sounded amazing! But once I got my food it didn't have the buffalo sauce on it and the chicken tasted undercooked so I couldn't even finish eating it. It looks like they gave me the scraps of their french fries too. My coworker got the articuno chicken sandwich and it came with no sauce on it as well and barely any chicken. It was mostly breaded. The lady up front seemed a little clueless about everything. Ok Globe AZ - I see you.. stumbled on to this place by accident and am glad I'd did. It's cute and the theme is obvious from the Mario blocks to the piranha plant from the video game. The food was tasty and the wait wasn't to bad. I've been twice and each time there are people there so someone must agree that it's worth it. Prices are fair for what you get. So we had to get out of the house and decided to head East and see where we land. After visiting Superior and Miami we landed in Globe. Hungry, we decided to find some take out and a park to have lunch. Yelp led us here! What a fun and eclectic little burger place. They also have other things like rice bowls but we splurged and did burgers with fries and onion rings. You know when you have a great burger when sauce and juice run down the arm while eating! What a great burger with the works...I had grilled onions and wife had raw. The fries were your standard frozen ones, which is why the 4 and 5. The onion rings were big and perfectly fried and when you bite into one...the onion doesn't come out...just that bite. We noticed three people eating on their outdoor porch area and the young lady who took our order helped us find a park and packed our bags with sanitizer wipes and silverware and napkins knowing that we were going to a park.
