Excellent food, service and ambiance!!! What a nice surprise, to come across an awesome burger while traveling the AZ Backcountry Discover route!

Machacca burrito

Carnitas tacos! Great Service! Great place! Always enjoy Los Robertos and glad they are here!

The menu, I choose the roast chicken burro plate.

When I'm in Miami Globe I buy a meal every day. I drive up, I get the chicken burro plate and a large horchata. Speaking to a local today I believe they said this is the Globe style of Mexican food, not sure what that means, but it's good food, sticks to your ribs and I keep going back.

Easy 5 stars for me! The place is very clean, servers are friendly, and the food is great! The carne asada burrito was amazing! Great portions, good presentation, and excellent sauce!

Tasteless chorizo breakfast burrito.

La Luz Del Dia - My humongous chorizo burro - could only eat half!

Finding gems like these on Yelp is what keeps me loyal to Yelp! Ive been on Yelp since 2006 (close…read moreto 20 years and well before Google maps or reviews ever existed) and without it, I would have missed out on a lot of cool and neat places like this! Thanks Yelp for helping me find 20 years of good eats, drink and fun! La Luz Del Dia means "the light of the day" in Spanish and boy is this place bright and cheery and the perfect start to a glorious and beautiful Sunday morning. You know this place is gonna be good because as I drove down the deserted road nary a car through downtown Globe and arrive at this place, you see a bunch of cars parked huddled near this place. I knew it wws gonna be good. I walk into this unassuming place and almost every table is taken at close to 9am on Sunday. There were a few seats at the counter facing the open kitchen so I made a beeline to sit down. Wait staff and customers in here are so nice and friendly! The cute girls working here are fast and efficient, and super sweet and all with a smile. I was pretty hungry as I hadn't eaten since Friday breakfast and was ready to gobble up a good breakfast. I had a chorizo burro (same as a burrito, still trying to figure out the difference) and a cup of coffee. Coffee was ok, and did the job. But, the burro was great! Southwest breakfast burritos are some of the best, and when you're in the Southwest, definitely don't pass this up to have. This burro was also huge and despite the fact I was famished, I could only eat a half of my burro. You can get red or green salsa, but since I am a spice pansy, I opted for the red, which was still more spicy than I can handle. By 9:20am, I was finished eating and ready to go. You go up to the cashier and pay there. There's a desert and drinks case by the register and lots of goodies there to choose from too. There was baklava, orange cake and brownies on offer. I also spied a chamoy pickle for sale too, here in the Southwest when the summers get so hot, having a pickle is sometimes in order to replace the salt we lose sweating so much! Overall, I loved this place! Loved the atmosphere as its kind of an old school diner, and everyone in here was a delight and the food was delicious! I'll be back again when coming thru Globe again! And you should definitely check this place out when passing thru Globe!

Stopped in for Breakfast on my way to Safford…read more Definitely family owned, very busy location, during my short time there it stayed consistently busy. Tiny location, the counter top is the choice seat. Food was really good with ample portions. The green chilis and pork in the Huevos Ranchero were excellent. Will come back again.

SENTRY - WATCHING RESTAURANTS…read more Judy's CookHouse 2280 E Hwy 60 Globe, AZ 85501 Companion and I were exploring mining towns and came across this restaurant. We stopped for lunch. On entering we found a thoroughly modern fast food restaurant. We were seated immediately and offered menus and drinks. Quick inspection revealed a quiet, clean place with waitresses ready to be of service. The menu was 3 pages long and had lots of favorites on it. It was nice to see a fair number of senior items listed. Companion ordered the bacon burger done medium. It was cooked perfectly and appeared to be homemade and about a third of a pound. It was graced with nicely cooked bacon strips, american cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomato, onion and BBQ sauce. It came with a nice side of creamy cole slaw. For myself, I ordered the green chile burger done rare. Unlike many other places they will cook the burger the way you like it and mine was cooked to perfection. Again, a nice big patty with jack cheese melting over it along with lettuce and tomato and a large green chile draped over it. This was one of the very best burgers I have ever been served. It was dripping down my hands and arms, but that is why there are sinks in bathrooms. An outstanding burger served with perfectly cooked onion rings and an extra side of cole slaw that I ordered. There were huge sweet rolls that were just put out on the counter, but I didn't have the room to eat one, and companion couldn't even finish the burger that was ordered. If I am ever back in that area again you can be sure I will stop there and order the same burger again. Service was fast and sanitation was excellent and spotlessly clean. My only regret is that we don't have any place even close to this in the Phoenix area. An outstanding lunch. 5 stars

I opted for a burger with fries. The burger is reminiscent of burger you might find in a diner. Quite tasty actually. Split a sweet roll for dessert. The menu is quite varied, and there is something for everyone…read more The food is first rate, with possibly the best burgers in AZ! The service is alway fast and friendly and they will happily guide through your selection and answer all your questions. The portions are huge! The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. So far I've had the Bistro Burger a couple times, the Curly Joe, onion rings, okra, cole slaw, the chips and pulled pork and the brisket nachos. Andrea has has the hangover burger and the midstate burger with cottage cheese and shared in the chips and nachos. She also stole huge bites of my burgers and several of my onion rings! Everything has been awesome! So awesome, int fact, we stopped on the way uo north to Alpine from Gilbert, and decided to stop in again the following day in the way home! The Copper Bistro great excuse to get out of the valley for the Phoenicians!

Our choices were Copper Bistro and Nurd Burger Cafe and for no particular reason we decided on Coper Bistro. We were surprised and richly rewarded by their cheese burger, fries and onion rings. I may have made mention in other reviews that a burger patty must protrude beyond the bun in order to attract my attention. This patty protruded well beyond the brioche bun and, better yet, it was hand crafted, not pulled out of a box of 300 other patties that were shaped exactly the same. And the beef was flavorful. We both enjoyed the fries and onion rings. Our meal was so filling we didn't eat dinner that night. Oh, the staff are super friendly, attentive and downright welcoming. If you find yourself in Globe, you could do a lot worse that supping at Copper Bistro.

Unlike a lot of restaurants, it didn't smell like grease. Our waitress, Desiree, was friendly and very attentive. The food was some of the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. Fortunately they were not out of the carne asada for my burro. My husband's shrimp were still steaming over 5 minutes after they were served. The red sauce they were in tasted good. The chips were fresh and salsa had a nice kick to it. We tried the deep fried jalapeños and decided to place an order of them to go along with a combo plate and another burro. We will be back. We shared a table for six with another couple who happened to be passing through town as well. I was disappointed that they didn't have any chili rellenos that day, but I got a cheese enchilada and beef taco from the ala carte menu. It was all tasty. We also had some complimentary chips and salsa (a bit zippy for my taste, but my husband liked it.). Service was friendly and efficient and the food came out quickly.
