Cash only so I keep "Buzzy's cash" on me at all times! It's a classic, nostalgic place.

Always come here when I get a chance. Red burro is surprisingly good. Nachos are great as well.

Buzzy's Drive-In should be featured on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. The onion rings tacos and fried bread are my favorite!

THE BEST ONION RINGS! I am seriously addicted to these things. Talking with the owner he let me…read moreknow they cut a whole onion, bread and fry to order. The onion is still crunchy and they are never greasy. This time I shared the Steak & Cheese sandwich as well. Wow! That is huge and delicious! No way I could eat a full one on my own. The meat was so tender with American cheese, onions, mushrooms and green peppers. My only adjustment would be lighter on the peppers and a little more mushrooms. The place is clean and friendly. Don't let the Mesa strip mall keep you away. After eating, check out the produce market across the street for some great deals!

First things first, it was hot in the restaurant, potentially the A/C was not working as well as it should have been or something, but it was not super comfortable. The service was good, I didn't get her name, a younger woman waited on me and she was very kind and did the best she could. The food came out super slow, I ordered empanadas to start, the waitress said they burned the first order (I appreciated that didn't just serve me overdone empanadas lol) once they finally arrived they were just unfortunately bland, and just kind of lacked authenticity. When she finally brought out my main dish, she even apologized for the wait and said "I had to go yell at them". For a main entree I ordered the French dip with onion rings, another reviewer mentioned they were the best they had had. The meat was kind of tough and dry (which is odd for a French Dip, and everything just lacked flavor. Even the au jus really had no kind of salt or much flavor to it. I really hoped after seeing how everyone else rated this place that I had found that little hole in the wall spot putting out killer food that we all long for, sadly this wasn't it.

We stopped in for a quick dinner before sunset to end our trip, and had a delicious dinner!…read more We were seated out in the covered patio area. It was the perfect spot to enjoy our meal. Our sever was prompt and very attentive. We order a zero proof drink (the Sunset on Sentinel) and the NA beer they had available. We skipped right to the main course since we had a quick turnaround. I went with the beef short rib ravioli and my husband had the fish and chips. We enjoyed some complimentary bread and oil as a little app before dinner came out. The ravioli was so flavorful (maybe a tiny bit too much cream sauce on the plate) - it was delicious. The fish came out crispy and perfectly battered, and flaky and moist inside. We would definitely come back next time we're in town and spend a little more time enjoying a full meal. We had a great experience.

Still yummy and very friendly service Ordered: Roasted Beet Chop salad: totally got the flavor intent but really wet greens and over-dressed. Cold Smoked Salmon: Liked the crispiness added by the fried noodles NY Strip: Really liked the crispy potatoes and the cook on the steak was great. Brocollini was a little oily but othewise, the entree for sure delivered. Will be back to try other parts of the menu but the seafood selection was lacking that day and even the server told us they preferred the smoked fish over fresh... Cheers, Wildflower!
