First time stopping here to eat on our way back from Tonto NM. We ordered the I am groot mushroom Philly cheese, Raisin Arizona burger, Oreo shake and a peanut butter shake.Sorry I forgot to take pics of the menu. Everything we ordered was so good! If we are ever out that way again we will definitely make the stop to eat here! The service was also quick and friendly. Our waitress was super patient with us and answered our questioned we had. We sat outside in the patio. Very cool decor! read more

We stopped in late on Friday night and felt bad because we didn't want to keep the staff late. But the girl taking the orders & also worked as the server was so nice. She didn't miss a beat. As far as the burgers, they are amazing. One of the best cheeseburger we have had in a long time! If passing through this town, it is a must stop. read more

Nurd Berger Cafe - Cheeseburger & fries! - Burgers Near Me - Globe, Arizona

So we had to get out of the house and decided to head East and see where we land. After visiting Superior and Miami we landed in Globe. Hungry, we decided to find some take out and a park to have lunch. Yelp led us here! What a fun and eclectic little burger place. They also have other things like rice bowls but we splurged and did burgers with fries and onion rings. You know when you have a great burger when sauce and juice run down the arm while eating! What a great burger with the works...I had grilled onions and wife had raw. The fries were your standard frozen ones, which is why the 4 and 5. The onion rings were big and perfectly fried and when you bite into one...the onion doesn't come out...just that bite. We noticed three people eating on their outdoor porch area and the young lady who took our order helped us find a park and packed our bags with sanitizer wipes and silverware and napkins knowing that we were going to a park. Really cute place and should we find ourselves back in Globe I want to try one of their rice bowls. read more

Waitress was on top of everything. She had several tables. She did a great job. Food- classic cheeseburger was good. But the raising Arizona was phenomenal! The fries were thin and crispy. Also delicious. The atmosphere was nice. Featured Mario, Star Wars, Hollywood pics. Nice place. Not fancy. U can come in shorts and a shirt with flip flops. I would recommend this place if you are in Globe! read more

Small local business out of a home. During Covid they are open for take out and you can sit in an patio with misters. Looks like a really awesome place. Lots of reminders about comics and such, that a nurd would like. Burgers were great with fries. Service was good and pretty quick for a restaurant (it is not fast food). Parking is on the street, which is on a small street just west of the main drag in Globe. The street does have a street light so you should not miss it. You can get your burger Power Nurd Style, which I recommend, with grilled onions. This will be my go to place when coming through Globe (2-4 times per year). Nice stop. NOT Fancy but a good local burger place. Craft beer would make it better, but no worries. read more

Nurd Berger Cafe - Ordering out front during Covid. Only cash today - Burgers Near Me - Globe, Arizona

1st time checking out this hidden gem. You'd never guess this quaint little unique spot in in Globe. My recommendation is to order ahead of time even if you eat outside on the small patio. We did wait a good 20-30min for our food. We chose to eat in the car due to the heat outside. 2 burgers ordered with crinkle fries and Cajun shoestring. Excellent food!!!! Will definitely stop again as we drive through. read more

Ok Globe AZ - I see you.. stumbled on to this place by accident and am glad I'd did. It's cute and the theme is obvious from the Mario blocks to the piranha plant from the video game. The food was tasty and the wait wasn't to bad. I've been twice and each time there are people there so someone must agree that it's worth it. Prices are fair for what you get. One star was lost because we went in and they said they would serve us so we sat outside. They came and got our drinks but we had to go back in and ask when we could order and then again to pay. Maybe if you are short it would be better to order at the counter .... Otherwise one of the better stops to eat in Globe read more

First time and won't be the last one! This place is a gem in Globe. Delicious burgers and the ambiance was the cherry on the top! Decorated with all classic Sci-fi posters that were the joy for my nerd husband Excellent costumer service and kudos to the cook (s) read more

I was in the Globe-Miami, Arizona area and I asked some of the locals about a good place to have lunch. A majority of them referred me to Nurd Berger Cafe. It's a small cafe with a little seating inside, but there is good size patio as well. It's definitely like stepping back into the 80's. There was like techno/ house music playing. I was greeted immediately as I came in. The menu I feel is just big enough. I ordered the Raising Arizona burger with no tomato and ranch dressing on the side. I will have to admit, this is one of the best burgers I have ever had. The jalapeno pepper bacon is the key ingredient for this burger! It doesn't need any condiments. It's awesome by itself. The crinkle cut fries were crispy, just the way I like it!! It is so delicious!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NURD BERGER!! This definitely gets five stars!! read more

Stopped at this local joint thanks to Yelp. Not sure I would agree with all that said "great burgers." The burger was okay. Honestly, I have had better. Fries were a disappointment. Should have ordered the onion rings. Other food items looked intriguing, so I might stop by again to try another menu item. read more

Hunger found us on our trip from Greer back to Vail. I quickly opened my Yelp to find a place that could satisfy the 5 mouths we had to feed and found Nurd Berger Cafe. It was very easy to find right off of the 260. The cafe had a wonderful aroma from the food they were preparing when we first walked in. The service was friendly and helpful. Four of us ordered burgers and one ordered their chicken strips. All of our meals were served hot and fresh and did not lack on flavor. We all had a side of fries and they were perfectly crunchy and hot! I ordered their iced tea and it was just ok. This place has seating inside and out. If you're hungry and craving something better than McDonalds or Burger King, you will not be dissapointed coming here instead! read more

I don't normally stop in Globe, but need to stop for some food today. Heard good things about this place. Was kinda hard to find, gotta know what you are looking for. The place is small and cozy in a homey feel. (Didn't feel cramped). Service was great!!!! She was sooo nice and helpful. I got the Raising Arizona burger and I honestly think it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Big tender patty, bacon was freshly cooked thick strips and I loved the green chilies. It was BIG too. Fries were good. Get the Cajun. Onion Rings were fantastic!!! Daughter got the "PowerNurd" style burger. It was REALLY good. Definitely coming back!!! HIGHLY recommend!! read more

Neat burger joint in Globe. Menu isn't too crazy but the burgers are really good. On par with the Red Robins and Five Guys of the world. If you're in the Globe-Miami area and are looking for something other than Globe-Miami Mexican food, this is a great place to stop by. read more

Headed to Globe and need some awesome food? Go here! Cutes place with awesome food. My friend had a double burger that was ginormous. The onion rings are so fresh too. Honestly very disappointed with the food I received. The other day I got food for a coworker and I and I ordered a moltres chicken sandwich which sounded amazing! But once I got my food it didn't have the buffalo sauce on it and the chicken tasted undercooked so I couldn't even finish eating it. It looks like they gave me the scraps of their french fries too. My coworker got the articuno chicken sandwich and it came with no sauce on it as well and barely any chicken. It was mostly breaded. The lady up front seemed a little clueless about everything. They told me about 25-30 minute wait so i showed up in that timeframe and ended up waiting another 25 minutes. read more

I'm so conflicted on this review! I've been here 1x before and had a tasty burger so was planning all day to stop for burger fries and maybe a small milk shake after a long drive from Phoenix. they had the burger and that was fabulous however they were not only out of onion rings but also out of ice cream!!! I was so disappointed...yet the burger was delicious so i can't give a 1 star review. I'm only here 1 day and was told they won't have either until probably a whole week! so sad read more

Service was fantastic! I was greeted when I walked in and told I could sit anywhere. I ordered a meal for myself and my two young boys. When they brought the meal out for the boys it was already split in half which I really appreciated. My boys loved playing the free arcade games. I had trouble getting them to leave after we were done. Food was great as well. I will definitely be back when driving through Globe. read more

Everything is always delicious! There is a wide range of burger toppings to choose from, the Raising Arizona has become a go-to. The patties are cooked to order, and are cooked perfectly in the next level burgers. The sides are good, solid. The burger I had was the Raising Arizona Berger 1/2 lb. beef patty on sesame bun. Pepper Jack cheese, green chili, crispy jalapenos, jalapeno bacon, ranch, lettuce and tomato. Served with crinkled or shoe fries. I got the shoe fries with Cajun and Greek seasoning on them!! They both were FIRE!!!! Probably the best burger I have ever had!! My buddy got the Marston Berger 1/2 lb. beef patty on sesame bun. American cheese, BBQ sauce, bacon, jalapenos and onion ring. Served with crinkled or shoestring fries. He said it was FIRE also!! The best he had also! He also got 10 wings the hot buffalo! He said they were really good! Better than the wings at home!! read more

This spot was super cute. I wish that they were open on the inside because based on pre-Covid reviews it's equally awesome in there as the cute outside seating. Anyways, this place is built off of a super cool old house and some of the seating is actually on the porch of that place. The staff was sweet. From my understanding it is family owned/operated. The food was delicious. I had a chicken sandwich but after seeing the burgers, I will for certain order a burger next time! Overall it was a nice experience and I recommend you drop in if you find yourself in the area. read more

The nerdy vibe, with Star Wars and comic book decor, adds fun, though indoor seating is tight. Service was friendly but a tad slow during the lunch rush. My only gripe? Great burgers! Probably the best burgers my husband and I have had dining out in a long time. Pleasant, quirky restaurant. Not big but plenty of room plus a great outdoor seating area. Been here many times, and it has always been pleasant, this time was not. Spent most of the time slapping at flies that were buzzing around inside. There was five of us dining, and orders came out at different times, my daughter ordered the raising arizona burger which had a long hair wrapped around and cooked into the burger, she did returned it and was given a new one. The beginning of the visit there were four people working but half way through our visit the cook was having to run back and forth taking orders and passing food as well as cooking, unsure what happened to the others at that point. Looking around the place it is filthy, ketchup bottle had dried hard ketchup all over it, the floors are greasy and very dirty and looking under the tables the dirt is just swept or mopped against the wall and left there but still very visible to see. The walls are dirty, the tables even feel greasy. Cleanliness, to me, says so much about an establishment when food is involved, and it does not take much to stay on top of when done daily. Every visit up until now has been great, unsure what has happened here since, but definitely not what it was before. read more

Best burgers and onion rings in town you won't be disappointed they have a great selection of burgers and best customer service

Cute little spot, service was good. Lots of interesting flavors, but at the end of the day it's just a burger and fries.
