The food is ridiculously good. I had a Philly that was better than the Philly Cheesesteaks in Philadelphia! Don't Yapp if you're from Philly (I saw the cheese in the jar you use Gag!). Great food in a small town. Made to order with good beef and chicken. You order through a window and you can eat on the patio. We're too paranoid for that (COVID, you know) so we got to go to eat in the car. There was only 1 front staff and he was efficient in taking walk in orders, phones, busting patio tables, and delivering food to our car. Kudos to this young man! read more

Based on what the locals said this probably the most popular non-Mexican restaurant town. The inside dining room only seats about 20 people. I went with two co-workers. When we got there the dining room was full. We ordered our food and sat outside. Outside was empty because it was about 55 degrees out. The booth up top on the left has a heater. We seat up there and waited for our food. Before our food was ready a table opened up for us inside so we moved inside. I think they made their own sodas there by adding syrups to carbonated water. I try to stay away from sugar especially when I traveling. Both the other guys got some special drink. I just went with water. I got the gyro with feta. One of the other guys also got a gyro with feta. He ordered his with extra meat and extra tzatziki sauce. I think the other guy got a burger. When the food came out the girl that brought the food didn't remember which gyro has the extras. They both looked the same size so we didn't do too much investigating. I think I ended up with the extra pita. Oh well. Over all it was pretty good. I don't make it to Globe too often but the next time I'm in town, I'm sure I'll be back. read more

None assuming small "mom and pop" place that does great burgers. We had someone stop by our table and ask how the food was and it was awesome! Very unique menu with very good food. Please bring back funnel cake fries! I've eaten at this restaurant a couple of times... Both dying in and take away. I have yet to have a bad meal! Everything seems to be cooked to order, so it might take an extra five or 10 minutes to get your food but it is worth it. Their burgers and onion rings are very good and this establishment has the 'good' ranch dressing. My only complaint is that they have recently removed funnel cake fries from their menu... You don't know heaven until you've had fruity pebble funnel cake fries. That is all. read more

When we are in Globe, it's always as just a stopping point for a quick meal. Nurd Berger is a gem of a place that I intend to return to. The cafe itself is pretty small, but they've decorated it in such a fun way with Marvel, Sci Fi, Pokémon etc. type items. Other reviewers have complained about the service, but we received the full attention of the nice cashier with the ponytail and the braces. She was friendly and efficient, checking often on our table to refill drinks or take trash away. She was a sweetheart! Our table only had burgers, chicken strips and fries, but all were served hot and delicious. The produce on the burger was very fresh. It's a great place to stop in Globe. read more

This place has a cool vibe, nice patio, and good food. I arrived for a later lunch, but the place was still busy. The layout of the restaurant is quirky, but when facing the restaurant the entrance is on the left. The patio is on the right and that's the way to get in. The staff is super friendly, but I wasn't sure where to stand and order. The menus are laid out on the counter and not on an overhead sign. I had the Marson burger that was great and turned into two good sized meals. If you're in Globe, AZ definitely give it a try. read more

Came here after a long day trip up to Pinetop and was craving for a burger & fries. I had done some research beforehand and had seen the positive reviews for this place, so I decided to give it a try. The burger was juicy and totally hit the spot! The fries were just your typical fries, which was totally fine as the burger was more what I was hungry for. What makes this place though is the vibe. If you're into video games/comics, this is your place. The tables, the walls, the counters, everything is superhero/video game themed! They even have an arcade game on the counter next to where you order! The staff was super nice/attentive and seemed like they knew the other patrons (which wouldn't be hard in a small town like Globe, but still it's awesome to see). Can't wait to drop by again! Was in Globe for clinicals at the hospital. On a recommendation from one of the nurses, a few of us went to try out this local spot. I was pleasantly surprised. This place was definitely a hit. The burgers were creative and really good. I believe they normally offer dine-in seating but only the patio was available this time, which was perfect anyways. The prices are a little more than what you'd expect to pay for a burger, but it's huge and it's delicious. Plus it comes with fries and free soda refills. We all got the "Raising Arizona" burger...and lots of napkins. It was breakfast, lunch and dinner. Definitely a must as a regular stop when in globe again. read more

Happened to be in the area for work, and this place was to me the best food I can find around town. I ordered the regular cheese burger with the thousand island sauce blend (that second option on their sauce list). They don't sell alc, but there's a market really close by where you can grab one and the store is okay with that (actually that's what they suggested). If you're around the area, definitely pay a visit and try it out! 100% recommend the place. The restaurant itself is cute and full of good vibes too. read more
