I finally got to try this place and was not disappointed! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor setting is airy and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The eclectic art and decor pays homage to Mexican-American culture and provides a warm, colorful atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pros: tasty coffee, fair pricing, friendly customer service, [[HIGHLIGHT]]welcoming atmosphere[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Cons: limited parking, limited sizing options All in all I was very happy with my experience at De Corazon (even went back the next day!) and pleasantly surprised to see that they partner with Burritos De Tu Madre -- which offer tasty pre-made mini burritos to accompany your cafecito. Support local. Support family. Support De Corazon.

I got the horchata latte and soyrizo burrito. Both were delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little place, technically outdoors but between buildings so it's all shade and stays pretty cool, even on a hot afternoon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Quick and friendly service. I will be returning to try the Mexican mocha!

De Corazon is a coffee shop serving lattes, matcha, cold brew, lemonade and pre-made burritos. AMBIANCE [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cozy w some character in its artwork, seating, and menu[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] SERVICE Pay and pick up at the counter. Staff make drinks like a bartender. Burritos are pre-made. DRINK 5/5 COLD BREW OLD FASHIONED Blood orange bitters, brown sugar, fragrant Lemon twist and peel - i.e. a cold brew + fancy lemonade FOOD 3.5/5 FRIED BEANS & CHORIZO This $4.5 small-size burrito has a handmade flour tortilla with fried Beans, Beef Chorizo and Queso Fresco. Parking can be an issue but wasn't I went on. Saturday morning and was able to find parking nearby. The burritos are delish. Remind me of my mommas. Had the elote matcha. I love anything corn and we got a concha too. Plus strawberry matcha. Great service. Totally going to go back.

De Corazon is a great semi-hidden coffee shop located off El Cajon blvd. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's an outside seating area and they have DJs on some days.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I tried the iced horchata latte and a mini breakfast burrito. Both were delicious and it was under $10. The service is friendly. Parking is a little difficult but not too bad if you don't mind walking a block.

Cool little coffee shop with unique and flavorful drinks. The service was super fast and friendly. I got the Chelado, not something I would normally go for but I wanted to try something new and I was not disappointed. It has great lemon and salt flavor with the right amount of cold brew to balance things out.

This is such a great spot to grab a little breakfast burrito treat and latte! We got hot almond milk lattes unsweetened. (So tasty!) the coffee was perfectly balanced! We also ordered the chorizo burritos. These are mini burritos (think about it like you're ordering a pastry with your coffee). Oh my gosh, the burritos were amazing! Tortillas were FRESH, beans were yummy. I would definitely come again for a coffee and lil burrito! Solid prices as well. Service was quick.

A little coffee spot right next to an auto repair shop. The owner said they've been open for a couple of months and what a cute spot they have! They have a couple of mini burrito options from Los Burritos de tu Madre. I had a beef chorizo and queso one which tasted delicious. It was an affordable price ($4.50) for a quick bite. I also had their vanilla latte; a flavorful classic. They have a few seats so you can sit down and enjoy yourself while here. To find this cafe, you can see a propped up sign on the main street, El Cajon Blvd. You'll also see a banner right outside its entrance when you look into the street that it's on. Nothing like a community spot to head to for coffee. Loved the vibes and style of Decorazon Coffee Bar.

This is a cool little small business coffee shop on McClintock St., right off El Cajon Blvd. in Normal Heights, between the The Boulavard Smog Test Center and O' Conners Church Supply & Gifts. I had a cortado and a Los Burritos de tu Madre breakfast burrito with sausage, eggs, and hash browns, not to mention some read salsa. The cortado was very good made from a blend of arabica and robusta. It was smooth, rich, and definitely robust. The breakfast burrito was bliss, but then again I didn't expect anything less from Los Burritos de tu Madre. They offer a great product and you can find it here at Decorazon Coffee Bar. The coffee bar offers a few tables on the patio and baked goods as well. The service was very friendly.

The service was exceptional! We walked here from an Airbnb stay just outside of North Park & did not regret it one bit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We got our drinks & concha just as a DJ came to setup & we ended up sitting and enjoying our yummy drinks while he started.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We tried the cold brew & choco banana latte, both were delicious! :)

I did a quick google search to find a minority own coffee shop, since I was in the area. De corazon populated and I do not regret stopping here. The shop was a bit hidden, but there was signs pointing you to where it was at. I was immediately greeted by the owner and the person who does the baked goods, both who were nice and welcoming. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try the breakfast items or baked goods but both sounded amazing and looked yummy. I got a mazapan latte and I got a horchata latte for my husband, both with almond milk, and they both did not disappoint. I will definitely be back to try the other things on the menu.

Books & Records Delivers Live Jazz, Standout Cocktails, and Exceptional Happy Hour Bites…read moreAs a fan of Common Stock, expectations were high for its Bankers Hill sister spot, Books & Records--and it easily delivered. The moment you step inside, the bi-level space makes a striking impression with its mid-century accents, exposed brick, and warm, moody lighting. It manages to balance a lively, energetic atmosphere with an effortless chicness that feels tailored for a memorable night out. The happy hour here is an absolute standout, featuring an expansive array of creative food options and crafted drinks. The menu brings an inventive Asian fusion twist to bar bites, offering flavor-forward small plates that pair seamlessly with the beverage program. The drinks deserve equal applause: the craft cocktails are meticulously balanced, and the signature ube-inspired cocktails are as vibrant and distinct as they are delicious. Adding to the venue's overall charm is the live music program. Catching live jazz, soul, and blues sets elevates the entire experience from a simple dinner run into a full sensory event. The music creates a vibrant, soulful backdrop without overpowering table conversation, striking just the right rhythm for intimate catch-ups or energetic group gatherings. Whether you are dropping in for a quick drink, indulging in a multi-dish happy hour spread, or lingering late for the live tunes and exceptional cocktails, Books & Records captures everything that makes CS Hospitality's concepts so special. It is a stylish, fun, and flavorful addition to San Diego's dining scene.

It was very great hospitality. Our waiter was very helpful and check in on us quite often. The service was Superb. Now the food, we went on a Wednesday which they have Happy Hour all day. We ordered The Record Room Burger which came with Fries. This was very tasty. The fries were excellent. I tried one of my friend's dishes which was the Lamb Meatballs and that was amazing. Sadly, the B&R Mac n Cheese did not do it for me. It was missing seasoning and the flakes tasted stale. The staff did give us salt & pepper to jazz it up which did help. Regardless of the mac n cheese, I really enjoyed this place. The red wine was perfection. Overall it was a great experience and I gotta go back to check out other food items.

Everything tasted so delicious and was garnished beautifully. Well worth the 22 dollars. Biscuits and Gravy: Absolute perfection of comfort food. The biscuits were so fluffy and well seasoned. The gravy was also soooo good, just like my mom makes. The sausage in it was also cooked so well and juicy. I've never tried mashed potatoes with the biscuits and gravy but it worked very well!
