I finally got to try this place and was not disappointed! The outdoor setting is airy and welcoming. The eclectic art and decor pays homage to Mexican-American culture and provides a warm, colorful atmosphere. Pros: tasty coffee, fair pricing, friendly customer service, welcoming atmosphere Cons: limited parking, limited sizing options All in all I was very happy with my experience at De Corazon (even went back the next day!) and pleasantly surprised to see that they partner with Burritos De Tu Madre -- which offer tasty pre-made mini burritos to accompany your cafecito. Support local. Support family. Support De Corazon.

DRINK 5/5 COLD BREW OLD FASHIONED Blood orange bitters, brown sugar, fragrant Lemon twist and peel - i.e. a cold brew + fancy lemonade FOOD 3.5/5 FRIED BEANS & CHORIZO This $4.5 small-size burrito has a handmade flour tortilla with fried Beans, Beef Chorizo and Queso Fresco. I'd pay more for more filling and for it to be made fresh. 5/5 SALSA has a tangy kick and elevates the burrito PARKING on the street
So so tasty!!! And the prices are so affordable I could cry. I love the ambience and art on the walls as well :) Def coming back!!
I got the horchata latte and soyrizo burrito. Both were delicious! Cute little place, technically outdoors but between buildings so it's all shade and stays pretty cool, even on a hot afternoon. Quick and friendly service. I will be returning to try the Mexican mocha!
Parking can be an issue but wasn't I went on. Saturday morning and was able to find parking nearby. The burritos are delish. Remind me of my mommas. Had the elote matcha. I love anything corn and we got a concha too. Plus strawberry matcha. Great service. Totally going to go back.
De Corazon is a great semi-hidden coffee shop located off El Cajon blvd. There's an outside seating area and they have DJs on some days. I tried the iced horchata latte and a mini breakfast burrito. Both were delicious and it was under $10. The service is friendly. Parking is a little difficult but not too bad if you don't mind walking a block.

I got the Chelado, not something I would normally go for but I wanted to try something new and I was not disappointed. It has great lemon and salt flavor with the right amount of cold brew to balance things out.
This is such a great spot to grab a little breakfast burrito treat and latte! We got hot almond milk lattes unsweetened. (So tasty!) the coffee was perfectly balanced! We also ordered the chorizo burritos. These are mini burritos (think about it like you're ordering a pastry with your coffee). Oh my gosh, the burritos were amazing! Tortillas were FRESH, beans were yummy. I would definitely come again for a coffee and lil burrito! Solid prices as well. Service was quick.

They have a couple of mini burrito options from Los Burritos de tu Madre. I had a beef chorizo and queso one which tasted delicious. It was an affordable price ($4.50) for a quick bite. I also had their vanilla latte; a flavorful classic. They have a few seats so you can sit down and enjoy yourself while here. To find this cafe, you can see a propped up sign on the main street, El Cajon Blvd. You'll also see a banner right outside its entrance when you look into the street that it's on. Nothing like a community spot to head to for coffee. Loved the vibes and style of Decorazon Coffee Bar.

This is a cool little small business coffee shop on McClintock St., right off El Cajon Blvd. in Normal Heights, between the The Boulavard Smog Test Center and O' Conners Church Supply & Gifts. I had a cortado and a Los Burritos de tu Madre breakfast burrito with sausage, eggs, and hash browns, not to mention some read salsa. The cortado was very good made from a blend of arabica and robusta. It was smooth, rich, and definitely robust. The breakfast burrito was bliss, but then again I didn't expect anything less from Los Burritos de tu Madre. They offer a great product and you can find it here at Decorazon Coffee Bar. The coffee bar offers a few tables on the patio and baked goods as well. The service was very friendly.
The service was exceptional! We walked here from an Airbnb stay just outside of North Park & did not regret it one bit. We got our drinks & concha just as a DJ came to setup & we ended up sitting and enjoying our yummy drinks while he started. We tried the cold brew & choco banana latte, both were delicious! :)
I did a quick google search to find a minority own coffee shop, since I was in the area. De corazon populated and I do not regret stopping here. The shop was a bit hidden, but there was signs pointing you to where it was at. I was immediately greeted by the owner and the person who does the baked goods, both who were nice and welcoming. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try the breakfast items or baked goods but both sounded amazing and looked yummy. I got a mazapan latte and I got a horchata latte for my husband, both with almond milk, and they both did not disappoint. I will definitely be back to try the other things on the menu.

I had some leisure time this morning, and ofc I wanted to try a new coffee place. De Corazon is not hard to get to, it's right off of El Cajon Blvd, and across from Woodrow Wilson Elementary. There was plenty of parking on the main street as well as the side streets. It is tucked away behind an automotive shop, but you can easily find it by the sign/banner that says "Coffee!" I was greeted right away, and perused the menu. I decided to get the old fashioned cold brew, with a breakfast burrito, all totaling $11. The space is comfortably decorated, with oldies playing in the background, artwork on the wall, healthy, happy plants, a bookshelf for bookworms like me, and even a vending machine with healthy snacks! My first time trying a cold brew with citrus - it pleasantly surprised me. Very refreshing. The border style breakfast burrito hit the spot with eggs, potato, and two kinds of flavorful salsa. I asked the gentleman behind the counter how long they had been there. He said it will be almost 2 years there. I liked everything about this space. I hope they stay for another 2 years and beyond. Consider giving De Corazon some love, too! read more
Really nice spot, tucked off El Cajon next to some auto shops - just look for the coffee banner! Staff is warm, welcoming and aren't rushing customers. I paid about $10 for a cold brew old fashioned (orange is nicely present, bitter in the right way with a touch of sweetness) and a pork tamale (seasoned the whole way through, a touch of spice that's really pleasant. The salsa is more like a thick hot sauce, spicy and tomato-y). Would order both again! There are a few small tables, and they were setting up a back courtyard space for an art exhibition. read more
Found this cafe while browsing nearby coffee shops on Yelp. While we found a spot rather quickly, parking can be a challenge depending on the time of day. This space sort of feels like a open garage or like extension of a house. Not a bad thing, I kind of like it, open space. Lots of interesting art and they had a cool mini vending machine with snacks. We got the Banana Mocha latte and an iced Chai. The employees were very kind and even brought out our drinks to where we were sitting. The drinks tasted awesome and I definitely want to return to try out more drinks. read more

I'm bummed I haven't known about this coffee shop sooner! Very nice and welcoming upon arrival with a great amount of seating. We tried the Cafe De Olla Latte and Iced Pumpkin Horchata Latte. Both very flavorful and the pumpkin flavor was subtle which is perfect for me. Also tried the Chocolate Concha which was extremely fresh and soft. Highly recommend this coffee shop! read more

What a hidden gem. Service was quick and helpful. I ordered the Old Fashion cold brew and it reminds you of one! It was smooth, refreshing, and not bitter at all. It is a well-executed drink. I ordered their burrito, which pairs well with a coffee. It had chorizo, fried beans, and queso fresco. It was flavorful, savory, and enough to get you by. I will definitely be back. read more

Tucked away next to an auto body shop, this unassuming coffee shop seemed to be a popular pit stop for locals. It had Mexican-inspired drinks and they were selling desserts like conchas. I got the horchata latte with free oat milk alternative which I really appreciated! The horchata latte had strong cinnnamon-y notes and was refreshing if you get it iced! read more

Found this place when I was on a walk with my pup a few months back. Little hidden gem in the Normal Heights neighborhood. Has been my go to when I want a treat! The vibes are always homey and immaculate. The drinks have been a hit! Breakfast burritos are a must!! And service is amazing. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Such a neat hidden spot! I have been here a few times and have not been disappointed. The horchata latte, matcha and cold brews are so refreshing! On the weekends they have live music which makes it a perfect place to hangout. Definitely check out this local spot, highly recommended it. read more
