    Biscoff Latte

I randomly searched for coffee in the area I was in and came across this place, and I'm so glad I did. From the outside, I was a little confused because there wasn't a clear sign with the coffee shop's name. Instead, there was beautiful photography displayed, so I honestly thought I had the wrong location but luckily, I didn't. Parking is a bit limited, and when I went, it was completely full, so that was a little inconvenient. The location itself is actually pretty spacious, although the coffee bar area is on the smaller side. It seems like they may host events there, though I'm not completely sure. The employee who helped me was very pleasant and super sweet, which always makes the experience better. I tried the Biscoff Latte and omg presentation and taste was 10 out or 10!!! absolutely loved it. I'm really happy I stumbled upon this coffee shop and would definitely come back again.

Hands down best coffee shop in San Diego and I'm so lucky to have moved nearby. Best customer service, the ladies are so sweet and kind. Definitely worth every buck! 100% recommend!

Came here for a KOSD meeting at their upcoming Global Marketplace space and noticed they had a coffee shop -- so of course, I had to get my fix. AMBIANCE: Parking: Plaza parking with space for about 15 cars. Seating: Since it's part of a community center, there's flexible indoor seating for roughly 30 people (depending on the setup). Vibes: Welcome to the Mid-City area! This isn't the touristy part of town -- more local, grounded, and full of hidden gems. Lots of great eats, retail, and small businesses nearby. The marketplace itself is still growing, but it's active and full of potential. A great spot to chill, get work done, or meet up with friends. FOOD/DRINKS: Matcha Latte (Recommended): Matcha is usually my go-to test drink at any café, anddddd this one passed with flying colors -- earthy, creamy, and balanced. Just how I like it! CUSTOMER SERVICE: KK (spelling?) was awesome -- friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about her drinks. She made the experience even better. TL; DR OVERALL: Good choices, great flavors, and friendly vibes. The drinks and the warmth of the service really go a long way. I see a lot of potential here and look forward to coming back whenever I'm in the Mid-City area. Wishing KK and the whole Doh Doh Coffee team the best! #RepresentAZN TIPS: * Check their social media for updates, things are still growing here! * Doh doh means older sister

I recently visited Doh Doh Coffee during their soft opening and was absolutely delighted by the experience. From the moment I parked my car, the atmosphere felt warm, vibrant, and thoughtfully curated. The deep forest-green exterior of the building drew me in, and outside discovered local artworks that carried powerful meaning and personality. The space feels like more than just a café it's a creative hub where every detail speaks to passion and community. Even more special, this visit marked a moment of history Doh Doh Coffee is the first Karen-owned coffee shop in San Diego. Being there for their opening felt like witnessing something truly meaningful: a blend of culture, artistry, and community spirit coming to life in such a welcoming space. Nao was so kind to greet me and my pup at the door, what a compassionate person. I ordered an almond-milk latte (my friend made the order) and was blown away by the quality: the coffee itself was deeply flavorful and rich, with a bold, roasted edge that still managed to be smooth and silky. The almond milk was balanced perfectly creamy without overpowering the espresso, adding just the right nutty sweetness and velvety texture. Every sip delivered a powerful, delicious punch of coffee flavour, tempered with a mellow, luscious creaminess. The finish was clean but lingering you could savor the roast and almond notes without they becoming heavy. Honestly, it was one of the best iced/latte-style drinks I've had in a while: expertly composed, satisfying, and memorable. The interior décor is equally impressive. The wall outside is alive with artwork by local artists, each piece seeming to tell a story -- vivid tones, meaningful textures, and a sense of place. The combination of the green walls, warm lighting, and expressive art made for an inviting and inspiring environment. I found myself lingering, soaking in the ambiance, watching people come in with intention. I also want to highlight the café's connection with the Partnership for the Advancement of New Americans (PANA). PANA is a research, public‐policy and community-organizing hub dedicated to the full economic, social and civic inclusion of refugees and immigrants. They are spearheading a remarkable project in San Diego: the "Refugee & Immigrant Cultural Hub (RICH)", which will include housing, food, cultural, arts and gathering spaces for immigrant and refugee communities in Mid-City. Knowing that Doh Doh Coffee is engaged in collaboration (or situated within a development tied to) such a mission adds another layer of significance to the visit -- it feels like a café that not only pours excellent coffee but is actively part of a thoughtful, community-driven vision. In short: whether you're a coffee aficionado or just someone looking for a fantastic local café with heart and character, Doh Doh Coffee nails it. The almond-milk latte hits high marks for flavour and texture, the space is inspiring and art-filled, and the collaboration with PANA gives it purpose beyond the cup. I'll absolutely be returning and bringing friends.

Lavender vanilla latte with oat milk!

Came here for an API coalition meeting as one of the first customers to try their coffee -- and I was soooo pleased with their Vanilla Lavender Latte (half sweet). Seriously one of the best that I have had in San Diego and I have tried a LOT of coffee spots! The owner and her daughter were incredibly nice and so excited to provide the community with a meeting space and their delicious concoctions. There is parking on either side of the building so it's easy access as well. Looking forward to coming back here and trying more of their items. Go support this awesome local business!!!

Oatmilk latte and in the back a few of the art quilts from the Aja project

Beautiful space for coffee and pastries. Love the artwork from the Karen group (Ethnic minority who fled Myanmar) AJa Project. Oatmilk latte was good. The cold Vietnamese coffee was tasty as well.

From the moment I walked in, two people greeted me right away and made the shop feel super welcoming. The space itself is really cute, with a relaxed vibe and a few tables where people were working on laptops. I actually don't drink coffee (I'm caffeine sensitive haha), so I told the barista I had no idea what to pick for my husband. They have really well-stocked shelves with beans roasted in house, and you can tell they genuinely take pride in what they do. The packaging is beautiful, and each bag has a card explaining the flavor notes and where the beans come from. After I mentioned a few coffees my husband has liked before, the barista recommended the Dark Drop beans. He was so kind, patient, and helpful -- especially to someone completely clueless about coffee. While I was there, he also made me an oat milk matcha with honey, and it was really good. Smooth and creamy. My husband had been gone for work for a month, so I wanted to surprise him with fresh beans when he got home. He absolutely loved them and said the espresso was balanced, bold, and incredibly fresh. We'll definitely be back to try more beans, and I'll absolutely be returning for another matcha. Thanks again for the great customer service and welcoming atmosphere!

The decor is fun and takes me back to my childhood with the skateboarding decks and overall vibe. The only reason for 4 stars is the parking situation around the area; it's scarce at times, so it usually involves a walk.
