Product itself: I ordered the Spanish latte with regular milk (7/10), the rose milk cake (10/10), and pistachio milk cake (9.3/10). The latte was good, the strength and flavoring was just like something I could make at home myself. The cakes were very moist and delicious I just wished the pistachio tasted the tiniest bit more like pistachio, but it was probably one of the best pistachio desserts I've ever had. The rose is so unique and amazing I highly recommend. Customer service: I was helped by Jenna I believe was her name (so sorry if I'm wrong) and she was very helpful trying to narrow down what to get from such a big menu. Very kind and attentive! Value: I spent $21.63 and I think for a cafe this is normal pricing for two pastries and a latte in San Diego. So I would say for what you get the value is good. Atmosphere: This is probably the most unique factor about this cafe is that it is the perfect space to work from. Maybe about 20 different tables, couches, chairs, a little office, outlets everywhere, and they are open until 11pm most nights and 12am Sundays! The vibe/theme is Yemeni I believe and it just adds the perfect little touches to this clean, open, and welcoming environment. I don't believe I'd find another place with this perfect ambiance again. Overall experience: I really enjoyed it. The latte wasn't the best so I definitely will try something else next time and order another shot in my drink, some of the desserts did not look as good as the milk cakes so I don't think I would like them as much. But for my first time this place was great and I would definitely recommend it.
Such a beautiful coffee shop with a ton of seating! This is a great place to study, get some work done, or catch up with a friend, the place was packed but despite the crowd the wait was not long at all. The drinks and all the food options were incredible!! There aren't many places that have unique flavors like this. The date shake latte was sweetened so well, and the pistachio milk cake was AMAZING!! One of the best milk cake I've ever had!! The owner, Mohammed, was super friendly and accommodating and all of the staff were friendly as well. They also validate parking in the garage which is a HUGE plus!
Absolutely phenomenal. No notes. My sister sent me this place on TikTok as she had been on a 20 week bodybuilding diet and wanted a pistachio baklava as her first treat back. We got it to-go alongside a honeycomb pastry. Both were outstanding. To drink, we got the date latte, spanish latte, and a cortado (not pictured). We were in heaven. Delah Coffee beans are very tasty- they paired well with the sweetness of the lattes. I will definitely say that this is not a spot I could stop at daily as everything was fairly sweet and rich. No complaints though!! In an area full of hundreds of coffee shops, this spot is a gem.
This is an absolutely beautiful coffee shop with amazing Turkish coffee, Turkish delights, and absolutely wonderful customer service. I highly recommend trying the traditional Turkish coffee with some Turkish delights to accompany it. I look forward to coming back time and time again.
This is a huge cafe with lots of seating, very open and clean. Great place to chat. The desserts in the cabinet look amazing. We had the honey pull apart and it's pretty good! They have an amazing pistachio latte, probably my favorite pistachio latte in San Diego. My husband loved the Turkish coffee and it had a great presentation. The first time we tried this cafe, we went again in the same week. I really like this cafe. The girls working the counter were friendly too.
Im becoming such a pistachio fan My friend recommended @delahcoffeehousesandiego to me and hyped up their Pistachio Latte -- I was not disappointed! If you're ever in North Park, Delah is an Authentic Arabic Coffee Shop with a great selection of good teas, coffee, and/or any of their delicious sweets and treats they have. I ordered the Pistachio Latte half sweet just in case and it is delicious. Some friends of mine have already gone back multiple times! PLUS! They are open until 11pm on weekdays which is so hard to find for coffee shops when you need to work late, study, or simply enjoy coffee with a friend in the evening.
This place was soooo good! I absolutely loved it. The reason we came here was because a wonderful lady at the House of Palestine recommended it because the owners are either Palestinian or support Palestine. The workers were amazing, super helpful and nice, and made the experience wonderful. It was actually pretty big inside as well with a separate room as well it looked like for meetings or such. I wasn't sure what to get so we got a lot of stuff to try. We're from LA so we wanted to splurge. The rose and oreo milk cakes were yummy and moist, my bf loved the oreo one. The rose latte was so yummy, not too sweet with a nice rose flavor, but the star of the show was the pistachio latte. It was so perfectly sweet. Next time we're in SD, I will gladly come back.

I hate to update my review, but the way management or owner treats their employees/baristas makes patrons feel uncomfortable. I have encountered this on multiple occasions. Granted, this place does have some good drinks and sweets. It's a good place to hang out and or work, but I will not be coming back as there are many other coffee shops in the area. Hope this place improves.
Delah has been all over social media lately. I had several friends from outside San Diego send me reels of this place and tell me I had to check it out, so I finally did. I was a little hesitant because parking in North Park can be such a pain, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out they offer up to four hours of free validated parking. That's a huge plus, and honestly not something many cafés in North Park offer. The pastries all looked amazing, but I wasn't really in the mood for food, so I ordered the pistachio latte instead. WOW it was so good! Definitely one of the better pistachio lattes I've had. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I really liked the atmosphere inside. There are plenty of tables, and it seems like a popular spot for people to study, work, or just hang out. I can definitely see myself coming back to get some work done over a good cup of coffee.

The space is large with plenty of seating, and a lot of people come here to work or study. There's usually a line to order, but the drinks come out quickly. They give you a buzzer so you know exactly when your order is ready for pickup. They have a huge selection of sweet and savory pastries and specialty drinks. I asked the barista for recommendations that weren't too sweet and for a savory pastry. I went with her picks: an iced Yemen latte with less sweetener and the beef‑and‑cheese pastry warmed up. Both were excellent and had a distinct Arabic flavor profile -- new for me, and I loved it. They also offer validated parking, which is rare and such a plus. I'd recommend this spot if you're open to trying coffee that's a little different from the typical European‑style cafés. I'd definitely come back.

They have a variety of options for drinks & desserts that all sounds mouthwatering. * Delah Mofawar Coffee - 8/10 (the cardamom was quite strong & slightly took over the aroma of the coffee. the quality of the coffee is good, but it was different to us to have the coffee grounds at the bottom of the cup) * Princess Baklava - 7.8 (i thought that the pistachio filling was the perfect sweetness, but i wish the layers were more crispy & flaky. having bits & pieces of pistachio would really elevate this baklava) * Rose Milk Cake - 8/10 (i loved how it was super moist and decadent. the rose flavor stood out very well, however the actual bits of flower incorporated in the cake was quite overwhelming. nonetheless, cake overall was super tasty and not too sweet!)

This spot is so good for studying, I want to gatekeep so hard. As a a cafe queen, trust me when I say this spot has the main essentials. Slacious tabkes, comfy seating, strong WiFi, outlets, parking validation, great drinks, caffeine (some drinks had Red Bull), sweets and food. Service is friendly. Lighting is calming. read more

There's something for everyone My fav' Pistachio hot latte - Turkish coffee Chocolate Baklava is super authentic and fresh Baklava with ice cream superb! Pastry choices are almost infinite' - Grand clean open indoor space with comfy seating - outdoor tables and chairs for more than 2 people- great -great location- walking distance to great food and bar choices in NP! This is one of the newer cafes in the north park area and we LOVE IT. Decor is cute and lots of space to either work or connect. Definitely see a lot of folks meeting and hanging, which is nice to see. Selection of beverages and bites are unique and tasty. My husband and I like their hot chocolate. It's probably one of the best I've had and we go atleast once a week to treat ourselves. It's not too sweet and have a nice nutty flavor, though I do order it with almond milk and honestly, it's the way to go if you're not allergic. Staff is pretty friendly and they have a beeper system to keep the service moving and convenient while you wait for your order. Will try something else soon. Stop by! read more

This is definitely a coffee shop with a different vibe than anything else in town. I love that they have traditional Turkish pour over coffee as well as a lot of different types of uniquely flavored lattes. I went kind of basic with just a pistachio latte, but it was a delicious drink. My man got a drip coffee with a little cream... He said it was just okay. Nothing special about the roast. We ordered two little desserts. Tried the lemon and coconut Turkish delight at the recommendation of the girl working behind the counter and also tried a Jordanian pistachio phyllo roll situation. OK, so to be honest, the Turkish delights are just not my thing. I traveled to Austria this past year and they had a huge market with a large section specializing in these Turkish pastries and I tried a bunch of them and I just can't get on board. They are weirdly chewy and not in an enjoyable way. Not to say there's anything wrong with it, it's just not my taste. The Jordanian pistachio roll was outstanding. I thought the service was good and the place is really nicely appointed and very clean. They served our desserts on very pretty gold plates that were much too large for the items we ordered lol, it looked nice, but was kind of a pain in the ass trying to carry it with our coffee drinks too. We started out sitting outside, but moved inside when a table became available because it was pretty hot in the late afternoon sun. I look forward to going back and trying some of their other lattes and I've got my eye on those milk cakes too. read more

Delicious coffee and food in a great location. I don't always get crafted lattes but Delah's pistachio one is delightful! I've tried several of their bites, but my favorites are the Rose Milk Cake, the Turkish Delights, and the Pistachio Baklava. A personal tip: get a turkish coffee to complement the sweetness of the pastries. And try one of their iced lattes. So good! read more

Giving this place a four because of the atmosphere. The coffee pot I got was for two but could easily be shared with 3-4 people. The coffee itself had a lovely rich infusion of chai spices. I did think it was much lighter on the coffee side and heavier on the other spicws. The strawberry coconut drink I ordered for my daughter was really good! I would recommend this drink! This is definitely a sit down coffee shop not really a grab and go. The decor was very nice and inviting. There are lots of different seating areas for you to grab and even a private meeting room you can sit in. I'm not sure if it's reservation or first come basis. The more formal seating areas inside the cafe such as the sofas are for parties of 6 or more. My only suggestion with this place is redirecting the line.. so you can look at the food display first before ordering. The reason being is that the sweets and line are at opposite sides so by the time you get to the cashier you're taking additional time to look at the large selection of pastries and desserts but then feel extra rushed because looking and asking takes up more time. If you're one who is mindful of others and do not want to hold up the line it can be very anxious experience. I liked though that by the time I got to the cashier to take my order the staff was very kind helpful and did their best at explaining certain items and providing recommendations but with that being said it's not very efficient and can be time consuming therefore building up wait time for the line. read more

I've had Delah saved on my list for a while and finally stopped by on 1/24- landing right in the middle of their ribbon-cutting celebration. Wrong day to study, right day to vibe. The space is huge with tons of seating, regular tables, comfy lounge chairs, and even a tasting room. Plenty of room to spread out, which I loved. They also had a DJ, small tables set up, and someone doing henna tattoos, which was fun to watch. That said, it was definitely loud, understandably so, given the celebration. Food-wise, we tried the honeycomb bread with cream cheese filling and wow, so good. Soft, sweet, and absolutely worth ordering again. We also tried another cream cheese option that fell a little flat flavor-wise, but the honeycomb more than made up for it. I ordered a pistachio latte, asked for it iced, but it came hot and honestly kind of lukewarm. It might've just been the chaos of a busy event day, so I'm not holding it against them too hard. Overall, the atmosphere was lively, the space is beautiful, and the desserts are a win. I'd definitely come back because this feels like a spot with a lot of potential. read more

This was my first time trying this place and the baristas were very welcoming when I first walked in. I had asked if they were able to make a spanish latte x pistachio latte and even though they had never heard of it before, they were open to give it a shot. They were overall very nice even when one of the baristas handed me my drink she said I hope it's amazing! You could tell whoever made it, made an effort to make sure it was good! I wish I got her name down but hopefully next time i'll see her! It ended up being so amazing 10/10 I will definitely be back and bring my friends!! Food that I ordered was great -it was still pretty early so I kept it light with some kunafa and pistachio baklava to go with my Yemeni Latte. The latte is fantastic with its cardamom flavor, was exactly what I was looking for. Really loved the pistachio baklava. Service was good, considering how busy it got during my 35 minutes there. The rest of the team showed up and the drinks were coming out in a very timely matter. The decor inside was pretty modern, dimly lit, with some hand painted murals inside that add some character to the space. Can't wait to try the milk cakes next time. read more

While walking around North Park on a Sunday afternoon, we decided to stop by for coffee and pastries. We ordered a Lemon and Coconut Turkish Delight and the Jordanian Phyllo pastry. For drinks, I had a drip coffee and my fiancée had the pistachio latte. The drip coffee was just okay--a bit thin on flavor--but the pistachio latte was delicious, with a light roast flavor and perfect level of sweetness. The Lemon and Coconut pastry was well-balanced (not too sweet!), and the phyllo pastry was excellent, featuring whole pistachios and a subtle sweetness. I'm looking forward to returning to try an espresso-based drink and more of their unique pastry selection. Delah Coffee on trendy 30th St in North Park opened over a month ago. Parking nearby is a challenge. Upon entry, was cordially greeted by the nice staff, the ambiance of this cafe was extraordinary, as the seating areas all look inviting, soft music played in the background and the tasteful exotic of middle eastern decor is exhibited throughout. The display case of desserts and baked goods was alluring. My devilish self wanted to order everything but my angelic self seems to have more control... :) Looking for something interesting and unique, I ordered the pistachio milk cake. This cake was plated nicely in its bright green pistachio fluffy cake in a pool of creamy milk it tasted devine. To pair my delicious dessert, I ordered a Pistachio Yemeni latte with almond milk, which was also presented nicely but... upon the first sip, second and third sip it was a major disappointment; it lacked caffeine fort, lack taste and it was a waste of my time and $$. Because the staff were so nice, I didn't want to make a scene or complain, but sadly this drink ruined it. So, lots of ther reviews mentioned the same dissatisfaction with their drinks, I gave this place the benefit of the doubt and it's too bad this poorly executed drink rates a 1-2 star :( I'm reluctant to order any drinks here. The horrible Yemeni latte could NOT earn my 5 stars. But for the delicious desserts and the lovely ambiance of this cafe it deserves a visit. read more
My first thought when entering was that this place had a nice vibe and the decor was cute. I had time to notice this because I had to wait in a line of 2 people in front of me which took quite a bit. When I made it to the front I placed my order, the girl was kind. I ordered a banana foam matcha and I was somewhat disappointed because they only offer one size for that specific drink I chose. When I received my drink I noticed that there was another matcha drink in a bigger sized cup and I asked the barista about the sizing and she said that's the matcha latte. Experience was a 10/10 from start to finish. This café is beautifully aesthetic with plenty of comfortable seating. The staff were welcoming and offered excellent recommendations. We ordered the Turkish coffee, pistachio latte, Khaleelji dessert, and baklava. Everything was absolutely delicious. The Turkish coffee paired perfectly with the desserts, and the pistachio latte was beautifully done, not too sweet. Overall, a fantastic café with great ambiance, good service, and high-quality offerings. Highly recommend! read more

Just an fyi, the storefront is along 30th st! I mapped to it using the directions from Yelp and ended up being in the back alley lol. What's good about this is (unbeknownst to me at the time) is that it's their back parking lot area and there's a QR code to validate once you get to the store. With parking being a premium in NP this is a huge plus. I tried their Yemeni coffee (spiced coffee), which reminded me of chicory coffee. And even though it was 730am they had a huge case of desserts that was just beckoning to be tried. I got the kadaifi, something I've never tried before. It's got the texture of frosted mini wheats soaked in honey and topped with pistachios. I love that I got to try something new. There's also a huge amount of space with comfy chairs to socialize/study at. read more

This is a newer place that opened in North Park and it's a total gem! The store itself is very spacious with lots of seating options inside and a nice, cozy vibe. I would definitely post up here to do some reading or computer work. The staff were really friendly and our drinks came out in a timely manner. To eat, we got the special baklava -- it's a bit pricey at $15 per slice but it's also extremely flavorful (not too sweet, not too savory). I'd recommend getting this if you go. To drink, we got the pistachio latte and the rose latte. The rose latte wasn't too strong on the flavor, more subtle which I found really enjoyable. The pistachio latte stole the show, definitely the best drink we got! Perfect balance of sweet and nutty and topped with crushed pistachios -- I'll absolutely be back for this drink! Good quality espresso, great flavors and delicious pastries -- what more could you want? read more

The pistachio latte at Delah Coffee might be the best drink I've ever had. It was rich, creamy, nutty and they definitely didn't skimp on the amount of pistachio. Highly recommend for any pistachio lover. The interior is modern with plenty of table and couch seating options. There are gluten free and vegan options of sweet treats with traditional items like baklava. read more
Really cute Yemeni coffee shop with signature lattes like pistachio (super nutty and refreshing when iced) and cinnamon date (sweet but not overly so with hints of caramel) We also got a rose cake to try for later.
