They have quality goods. I liked that the clothing were spaciously hung on the racks. Interestingly, nothing of their clothing had bright colors, which are my personal favorites. I did enjoy perusing the store. In this boutique you can find a variety goods tops (long-sleeved, short-sleeved and cropped tops), jackets, dresses, skirts and accessories. The clothing are not fad-like with a very conservative feel. You will be able to wear these clothes for years and decades to come. Importantly, they are focused on environmental sustainability and social responsibility Similarly, the prices are a bit more for these clothing than the average boutique. This boho shop is just another locally-owned business that makes my neighborhood so great…read more I am a huge fan of supporting local businesses, most especially when they put out stellar products. You can shop for anything here, from socks and sunglasses to tops, skirts, dresses, etc. The items are quality, timeless pieces that wear well. The prices mean not having to pay to replace something a few months or a year later. You can buy clothing here and it will still be fashionable and like new 5 years later (with proper care, too, of course). A chic boutique that understands the importance of keeping the planet safe while staying relevant with fashion choices. Employees are kind and take the time to find what works for individuals rather than just trying to make a sale.

Service was a mixed bag. One sales associate was super friendly and helpful. The other sales associate had a bad attitude and probably should not be in the customer service industry. We were nearby having lunch and walked over and it's still there! Tons of beautiful crystals and I was able to get a Rose quartz and two smokey quartz towers - all really good quality for insanely good prices. They have some great vintage clothing inside and some cute accessories and fun items. Great location near to some other cool shops and finds and Hillside Pharmacy for fabulous bites. Super friendly staff who wrapped my gems up with love and care for the trip back to VA. A+

In addition, you'll be able to find items from various eras as far back as the 30s through the 70s. I've seen some stuff there even older than the 30s. Everything is of exceptional quality and condition. Not only do they sell but they buy as well. If you've got vintage wear you'd like to get rid of, try them. They give cash or credit for things they'll buy from folks. As with most stores like this, you'll get more in store credit for your stuff. Fun fact: they've also got a location in Waco.

Julian Gold specializes in unique pieces sources in the United States and abroad. The store itself is visually appealing with floor to ceiling windows emitting tons of natural sunlight. In addition, the store is nicely laid out making it easy to peruse the racks and other items within the boutique. While this boutique could be considered high end, they do have very good sales. For example, during their Margarita sale some items sell for 70-75% off. When they were located on 6th Street, they used to serve margaritas during their margarita sales. Given that my shopping love language is sales and deep discounts, over the years I have found some incredible deals. As an example, a few years back, you could purchased a pair of shoes at 80% off during an end of season sale. Service is what sets Julian Gold apart from most boutiques. The sales representatives go out of their way to get to know you personally. Julian Gold has stores located in San Antonio and Corpus Christi, TX. They will happily transfer items in those stores to Austin, TX, if you make that request. In fact, when we lived Washington state, I visited the store every 1-2 years, but when I returned to Austin, they always greeted me warmly and by name.

I also appreciate that they had quite a bit of staff working on the weekend. I was asked if I needed help a few times and took someone up on the offer one of those times.
