This store can be a hit or miss. I stepped in for casual browsing since I was in the area and found a random assortment of things including everything from home decor, bedding, candles, clothes and what not. Every single time I go in there, you can tell the management has no control on what's going on at all from the line to the security at the front to simple task requiring four workers to solve it. Rossi the "manager" moves with no sense urgency every single time I come in there. She does not know how to consolidate her time at all. She is always to slow to get her job done, her junior employees around her are getting customers in and out while she's slowly analyzing merchandise before she scans the item. Three customers left while she held the line up two solve a problem that could've been explained to her coworker easily and she could've went back to her task. But she did not, she obviously stretched it out as to not get back to her job. She cannot complete her task without disrupting the flow of the store. they had one register open and a line that was 20 people long waiting to check out. The store was filthy with candy and trash on the floor. No employees on the floor to help you just one guy at the door for security. Not stocked, shelves were either empty or sparse. Terrible store read more

Disclaimer: I only visit this store for the Amazon lockers. This location is off Riverside across from H-E-B in a plaza with a number of other businesses including Goodwill. This has to be the junkiest, most disorganized store I have ever seen. It's like a garage sale in store form. Thrift shops are cleaner and more organized. I can't speak to the quality of the goods, but this company is similar to Ross. The prices are cheap, they offer everything from clothing to home goods. The lines are always long, and there are usually children running around. Good luck if you're planning to shop here. Pack patience and a keen eye because you'll definitely have to sift through things. read more

This place is scary. And I'm not scared easily. The worker came out the back with 6 boxes of merchandise on a large cart and customers began ripping the boxes open and taking items - even while the worker asked them to stop. The floor is full of clothing. Pay no attention to section headers hanging. You'll be hard pressed to find two items in one category hanging near each other. I've come here twice, thinking the first time was possibly just a bad day. read more

Not kid friendly. Rude staff. Was told to not let my kids play w the toys as that's how they get broke. The toy said TRY ME. My son took in $20 to spend and wanted to see what all the toy did. The security lady took the toy from him and said , "that's how toys get broke". He's 9. Give me a break. read more

Great customer service here, despite the fast city living in this area. The woman as the greeter as beyond nice. Shes blonde and curly hair (wearing blue today). Overall the store was clean and organized and had a great visit. We will be back!!! read more

So I live in Austin. Where you are required to bring recyclable bags everywhere you shop because they don't give you plastic bags anymore. But when we arrived here they took away our bags. WHAT THE? no. NO you cannot keep my bags and then later accuse me of stealing my own bags that I BROUGHT INTO YOUR STORE. Staff was rude but I didn't have high expectations when I walked in. Definitely not in RR anymore. read more

I dropped in here today to grab some yoga gear on the cheap. I have never seen a dirtier, disorganized store well, ever. There are more clothes on the floor than there are on the hangers, and this was just a few hours after opening so I wonder if the store was organized upon opening. There was candy stuck all over the floor by the front cash registers. The register line is pretty confusing, too. I get that this is a really cheap (I mean, super cheap) discount store but man, have some pride. Clean the store every once in a while. read more

I bought a shirt that looks $60 from urban for $7.99. Ya dude. I get compliments on my clothes from there allllllll the time. And I pay less than$10 for an item of clothing or pair of shoes (Yes. Shoes. I got these ADORABLE 90s inspired minimal platform black closed toed sandals w gold buckles for $7.99.... 7.99! I'd have to cough up at least $50 for this style on some online retailers I check out.) There are shoes/purses/clothing over $10 but I just keep my eyes locked in on that price range and come out very happy. like $2 fishnet patterned tights. Totes. 2) You never know what you'll find. There's not a steady stock of things. It's like one of those overflow places I'm assuming. I've also bought stainless steel kitchen stuff like a paper towel holder and dish rack for cheap too. I've bought some 2 day detox juice cleanse thing. A giant Keratin-infused damage repairing conditioner. Oh and those velvet/non-slip hangers! Love those. Never will I come back to this store. I was being assisted with the cashier as she made my return. She calls her manager up to get an authorization and the manager was asking me questions like where I work and if I get paid good. I said I do and I'm hoping to further my career as a nurse. She then bluntly said well you better hurry up before Trump sends you back to Mexico. I literally was in shock that I was told that. I was born here my parents and grandparents were born here. But because an ignorant ass thinks because the color of my skin is brown that I'm illegal. The managers name was Sam and I just couldn't believe how a store manager could treat customers like this. I am sure she has done this before. I will be making a report to the Civil Rights project and make sure this will NEVER happen again!!! read more

The items I bought were great and the quality durable (I bought luggage) especially for a discounted price. However the line to buy my two items was ridiculous. Took over 30 minutes IN LINE....it was a weekend so not sure why there wasn't more people at the register. read more

I stopped in this store to do some shopping while my husband got his hair cut. I needed a restroom and was told they don't have one for customers...this store is really big and I was surprised. I was told I could use the one next store, at the Goodwill! Wow! I went next door, used the restroom and did my shopping there. I won't shop at dd's. I don't feel they show their customers respect or appreciation. read more
