I was in the area and decided to stop in since I needed a new wallet. Store was crazy busy and I found what I was looking for (& then some) and the line was tucked away through some racks. The store was also very cluttered with employees also restocking and what appeared to be reorganizing merchandise. Um, if it is busy, why not help cashiering to get customers out of their quickly? Most of the employees seemed friendly with the exception of one cashier loudly calling the next customer in an annoying tone like a drill seargent lol. Parking lot was also a mess and very crowded. Decided to give this place a second chance, I came in and shopped around got a pair of pants and some accessories. I lines up and there was 3 people standing up front chitchatting not helping out. Only 1 cashier(Jennifer) and there was about 20 ppl in line. One lady even asked the 3 girls if they can help the cashier and she said yes I'll jump on right now. Jennifer did a great job keeping the line going but the rest of the other employees were no help at all. Deff will not come back after this experience. read more

First impression was great the security team is very nice BUTTT...Terrible customer service at the register . I waited in line (no one at the register) for a few mins till being called by the rudest worker I've ever experienced at a DD's store I was helped by DAISY who claimed to be the on site manager. I understand it's a hot summer day But If she doesn't want to have decent social skills She shouldn't be an employee there or especially a manager. Like what other people have said about this place - yes, it is a hit or miss. Please be expected to find a lot of clothes on the floor or damaged clothing in this store because some people just shop without a care in the world. This store is indeed much much much cheaper than Ross and Marshall's and shopping here can be worth it, if you know how. For example, I saw this super cute jacket today, but there was GLITTER GLUE on it. Another thing I saw was a Reebok sweater with ink all over it because someone messed with the temper ink security clip on it. I also saw clothing with holes in it too (unintentional damage). However, there are some tips so you can get the best clothes at the best deals. 1) Check the clearance section. I have found so many cute clothing that I like at the clearance section. 2) Use your best judgment. This store sells overstock from different brands from Rue 21 to Charlotte Russe and Target. If you recognize the brand names from those stores and you see it on the label, then you're getting a pretty awesome deal. In addition, some clothing here can be very tacky and are made with cheap fabrics, so just use your best judgment to find cheap priced clothes with good, long-lasting quality. 3) CHECK EVERY RACK Even if it is not your size, just check because different clothing are stranded everywhere. You'll find something surprising at the weirdest places. I went here for the first time on 09/23/22. The greeter/possibly security was extremely nice. However, the cashier had the worse attitude. I walked up and spoke when she called me to ring me up and she didn't say anything. I then spoke again and said "happy Friday" because I do not know what she is personally going through but regardless this is unacceptable in customer service to say the least. Once she was done ringing me up, I proceeded to walk out and the alarm went off. The greeter/possible security checked my items and I told him I did see an alarm on one of the items but forgot to tell the cashier. He took it off and apologized. The cashier never looked or acknowledged she didn't check my items to remove the alarm. She kept checking the customer out. Her attitude was horrible. So I already reviewed another DD's (the one on Magnolia in Anaheim) but I just realized this one also exists! The reason I saw it? I was over at M & M Doughnuts and noticed it was in the same strip mall area! Score! Here is my blurb about DD's in general: "If you like Ross for Less, Marshal's, or TJ Max...then you're going to love DD's even more! They carry all the same items (generally) but somehow DD's is still less expensive! Plus, it's a clean store that is well kept and well stocked." As for this store, it gets 5 stars for several reasons. First of all, they are obviously less frantic about theft here than the Magnolia location. You don't feel like you're constantly being watched for shop lifting! I can shop in peace and look around without being eyeballed by security. Next, I think they have more inventory here. Maybe it's just b/c people don't know about this location yet, but I found a lot more items that i liked at this store. Lastly, everyone that worked here seemed to really like their job. Good juju while shopping...I like that!! Hey, for a bargain....I'll put up with a lot. BUT now that I've discovered this store, it will be my first stop when on a DD's shopping spree! Bought my scrubs here for work and I love them! Spent $7 on the top and $10 on the bottoms which were made in Indonesia. Good brand, too. I like to come to this one location because it's kept clean, organized and it has better stuff than others. There's ample parking and the staff here is great. The ladies at the dressing rooms are polite and they let you use the bathroom. I've only had to come back for an exchange ones and they were super nice, no questions asked, in ajd out with another item. Did I mention this place is kept clean? The bathrooms, aisles, fitting rooms, toy area (which is usually beat up elsewhere!), and furniture section. I will return every week! read more

dd's Discount is on par with other discount stores but I have found it to have more name brand clothes at better prices than say Ross, and usually with more inventory. With three kids in elementary school it's a great place to pick up name brand clothes at great prices. Most kids clothes are $3.99-$11.99. Another Bonus is they carry men's big/tall. I have even found 6x for my monster Polynesian nephews ! Recently was in there and found dept. store bras for a steal (under $5). I also like to cruise through the kitchenware aisles for gifts and kitchen basics at deep discounts. I have always found the staff to be efficient and helpful. Returns are no hassle. Store is usually cleaner and more organized than Ross etc. Possible exception would be crazy busy times like Christmas. Hit it 1st thing in the am on a weekday for the best experience. read more

That's what Laura the Store Manager did. Just threw all my items into the bag without any care towards it. Also was so quick to shoo me away so she can help the next person at the register and take her time with them. I wasn't fond of that. For the cheap prices they get an extra star, but I won't be coming back to this location again. Woaaaahhh I'm definitely coming back here again for home goods. I specifically came to get a dress because I've heard some good bargain deals on clothes here. Took a browse through some of the home goods stuff which were very reasonably priced and looked quality. Awesome area rug deals too. The selection and amount of toys are endless and I know I can get a lot of things crossed off my Christmas list here. I did not get a chance to browse through the clothing but I scored an awesome new staple piece cardigan for $5 and I'm sure there are other great pieces out there. Also got a memory foam neck pillow that is really great quality for $3. Worst customer service and treatment ever, and sadly that is to say as I even walked in the door. First off I am glad that I wasn't the one that even wanted to go to this store. I just went in with my sister. My luck is that I was asked by a lady on a scooter to hold the door. Being my nice self I did, and as the grumpy lady tells me like I'm stupid how to do it, the rude ass wannabe pretty boy security decides to get involved looking at me rudely as I tried to move a lil to get the other door open and get out cause the lady was blocking me to let her in. Both grumpy old lady and this idiot really acted like I was rude. I was just trying to help which I mentioned to him that he could have done so from the beginning since he worked there. He said helping is for everyone. Yet I'm the bad person as he looks at me judging me from the beginning. I just go look at something feeling bad. Then I hear his co-worker talking about me, and he joined in. I then go back over asking for both their names, and explaining that I will never walk into this store again. He asks why? I tell him exactly why. You never talk about your customers right in front of them. I explained I've worked in customer service and the public my whole life. Not just retail, but in hospitals. Horrible.....so I bought an ironing board and when I took it out of the packaging I noticed that the legs were loose and wobbling, I couldn't even use it because it wouldn't stay upright. I had my daughter take it back to the store and they told her they could only give her store credit since it looked "used" and they were wondering why she was just returning it since the receipt said we had purchased it 1 week ago?? Lmao....really?? So today, 2 weeks later, I get a chance to return it myself. The security asked what was wrong with it and he had to see for himself?? Then they call the manager for an approval on my return. First thing she asked is, "is this the first time you return it?" WTF?? I said nope, we tried before but you wanted to give my daughter store credit, I want my money back!! Anyway, she gave me credit back on my debit card, which is fine. My latest trip here I bought about 10 pairs of flats and sandals all which ranged $6-$9 each which is much cheaper than the rate they are sold in Oklahoma which is about $20+ I am so happy to have found this place.
