Unbelievable but a fact. I knew that my roof was broken as while trying to open it I forced it and heard a clicking sound that definitely sounded like breaking . Turns out the fella that was the mechanic that worked on my car specializes in German/european cars and knows these Porsches and their issues by heart .He knew exactly the source of the problem as it turns out to be common issue as these Porsche boxters age . Long story short . within the 3 1/2 hours of time that the car was at that shop they were able to source out the part that was broken, replace it, the entire convertible retracting mechanism was not only working but tuned to perfection working a smooth as it did 30 years ago. Completely unexpected from my shop that I pulled in to to ask for tools too force the roof shot. In addition he had looked at all things like filters liquids and levels, brakes etc. and it turned out that my brake lights were not working either. Happy but anticipating a hefty bill can only tell you that the biggest surprise of the day was the final bill . I WOULD NOT EVEN BE ABLE TO GET AN OIL CHANGE ESLWHERE FOR THE PRICE THAT THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE ENTIRE WORK . Their prices are so good that I already have set an appointment to come back for some performens upgrades to be done to the car . Upgrading the exhaust system , along with a new K&N filter going in to add some kick to my 30 year old beast ! Definetly referring with confidence . Great knowledge and great service with great honest prices is something that's not easy To find in one place especially The way I found them,so unexpectedly ! P.s they are on the corner r of Reese and Magnolia in Burbank

Word of mouth in the auto care industry goes a long way. My dad, who's 92 years old, was first…read morerecommended to Art's Auto Care by his neighbor, Larry & Mary, who stated that they were the best in the neighborhood. While my dad's car was being serviced, the manager Arabo (sorry if I'm spelling it wrong) offered to drive him home. I found that above the average treatment of a customer to be endearing, so even though I live in Van Nuys (a 30 minute drive away), I started bringing my car to him. At first, it was just a tune-up and an oil change. But two days ago, the engine mount failed in my 2010 Honda Civic. Afraid to drive it to the shop, I called AAA for a tow truck. When the tow truck arrived and the driver asked for my destination, I said Art's Auto Care, to which he replied: "They're the best auto shop in Burbank." Further proof that this business is well respected in the local community. My engine had entirely separated from the auto frame, breaking through the bolts and was hanging by a thread, but Arabo and his dad managed to put it together again in two days. Arabo's dad even took a bolt to the face as they were fixing it, but luckily he was okay. I was worried the repair cost was going to be extremely expensive, but it was a very reasonable price and I'm very happy with the service and end result. It's very rare to find a great mechanic that you can trust. If you're in the Glendale/Burbank area (or even outside it), I 100% recommend Arabo and Art's Auto Care. And not only take my recommendation, but my dad's, my neighbors, and even the AAA tow truck driver. :-)
