Vic comes across as a great but very busy guy. I serviced my Audi there for 7 years. Turns out my car had lots of issues that Vic completely overlooked. I had to get a real diagnosis from Keys Audi in Van Nuys as soon as it was anything over an oil change or brakes. Vic would rarely listen to why you brought your vehicle in, he would just ring up a long bill of of whatever he felt like "fixing". I had a rat that had been eating my wires and had rat poop in three or four places in the engine. Of course Vic had not noticed this either. I would be very careful bringing your car here. read more

I bought a used 2019 Golf R last year, and when the time came for the first service, I took it to Vic. He took a look and told me what needed to be done now, what could wait, and what to expect for the next services. We got the maintenance all caught up and my car was riding like a dream. Unfortunately, recently, the engine started acting funny, so I brought the car back in to Vic. Turned out to be bad news, but before starting on thousands of dollars of work, Vic called his buddy at Volkswagen to look up my car and check for a warranty. He knew that 2018/2019 models had a 6 year warranty. Luckily for me, this was true. Vic took my car over to VW for me (since I am in Thousand Oaks and they are in Burbank/Glendale), and has worked with them throughout the process. I am getting a whole new engine, new turbo, and I'm not paying for anything. Vic isn't making any money on this. It's hard to put into words, how thankful I am for this. We are talking $30k+ to get my car back into shape... which is what I paid for the car less than a year ago! Anyways, Vic has a customer for life right here. Horrible customer service from Vic. I was looking to get some work done on my Audi. Lowering springs, tuning, and tires. I called and spoke with Vic multiple times in the course of two weeks. He kept saying he was busy at that moment and would call me back. However he never did. This happened about 3 times. This shop is one block away from my house. Would have been easy to take my car there and drop money on it whenever I had an itch. I guess business is that for him that he doesn't want to take on more clients and make more money and not call people back. Blows my mind. Wow! this is the most honest mechanic in town. My 2018 Audi A5 Sportback was leaking coolant fluid. I brought it to Vic. He discovered that the water pump was leaking. On his own initiative, without me asking, he called the local Audi dealer to discuss it. Vic discovered that the water pump was covered on an extended warranty--perhaps it is a known problem for Audi? So three years after my warranty expired, the Audi dealership is covering the problem for free. Vic could have changed the water pump himself and charged me the $2,000 fee. Instead, he is getting me the repair FOR FREE. If not for Vic, I would have never known that Audi would cover the repair for free. Vic is a super guy and I cannot recommend him enough. Great place to take your European car. Want to give a big shout out to Vic who runs Eurowurx. Brought my Audi A3 etron into his shop, wasn't passing smog check engine light was on (again) etc, Vic checked it out in 5 mins and found the two emissions codes causing the problem, instead of giving me an estimate for the work to be done he sent me to his colleague at the Audi dealer who then ran a diagnostics check for the two emissions issues (not under warranty) free of charge and then hooked me up with a rental for a few days. I picked up the Audi today, total charge was $0. Totally blown away! The original estimate from the dealership was $1700+ cost of diagnostics prior to bringing it into Eurowurx. I went to four supposed Audi/vw/ German mechanics in Los Angeles to troubleshoot a misfiring issue. None of them could find the issue nor wanted to even attempt it on my 1995 s6 avant, one of the German mechanics even asked if this was an American version car? Really?! Then I came to Eurowurx. Vic the owner lit up when he saw this car, knowing exactly what it is, pure Quattro heritage , 2.2 inline 5 that destroyed the competition in group b rallying in the 80s. He was thrilled to work on it. With if one day he found the vacuum leaks, found the blown diverted valve, replaced with new silicone hoses and dv that he had in his inventory, fixed my misfire issue, and got my boost and baby back the next day. I can't say enough how good it feels when someone cares as much as you do for your car. He does. Very organized, methodical approach, not shotgun replace every part and see if that works that the previous Mechanic and really most mechanics employ. About a year ago I was looking to have an APR Stage 1 tune installed on my MK6 GTI and after calling a bunch of different places, I talked to Vic at Eurowurx where I found his prices and timeline were fair (if not equivalent, then cheaper) when compared across options; but what made the decision, was Vic's passion and extensive knowledge. At the time, we put in the tune, an air intake, and upgraded my coils which resulted in phenomenal performance improvements and had me smiling the whole way home with every gear change. Since then, I've gone to see Vic for all of my car needs as he brings that same passion for taking care of his customers and their vehicles to every service so I know I'm in good hands. Additionally, due to his years in the industry and past experience working at a dealership, Vic has a whole network of connections that he readily shares with his customers if that's what's best for them. An example of this, was when I needed to replace some parts that were still under warranty. Rather than doing the repairs himself (and charging me parts/labor), Vic gave me the name and number of a recommended mechanic at a local dealership and told me to have the work done there so that I wouldn't have to pay for any of the work out of pocket. Vic and this place may be good for oil changes and simple tuner modifications, but be cautioned about having this shop do any kind of repair work other than on four bangers. Vic and his crew have little experience with normally aspirated engines. I got an APR Tune here and Vic was extremely helpful with any and all concerns I had. He even threw in the installation of a urethane dogbone mount I brought at an extremely reasonable rate. In fact, I had an older style mount and he exchanged mine for a newer style neuspeed mount for no extra charge. Since my black car was really dusty, one of the techs ended up scratching it when wiping up grease or something. When I pointed it out, Vic agreed with my concerns and offered to take care of it. When the time came to pay, he cut the labor charges in half in addition. I ended up not having him deal with the scratch since I can buff it out myself, but the gesture and honesty is very much appreciated. Vic's got great stories and is a pleasure to do business with. The only possible concern I'd have is the small size of the shop, but somehow he seems to manage pretty well. Pros: -Excellent customer service. -Great rates. -Very accommodating and flexible. I've dealt with Vic on multiple occasions now and not going to lie, the first time I brought my vehicle here, I left with mixed emotions. My car came out great, got it tuned with a few extra goodies but my experience wasn't the best. Their team is extremely busy and they're taking on more work than they can probably handle but over the years I've learned it comes from a good place. They're truly trying to help the Audi/VW community and let's be honest our cars aren't the easiest to work on. Yes, you might have to give the shop multiple phone calls. Yes, you might need follow up with them instead of being called back. Yes, your vehicle might take slightly longer than they originally projected but it's because they're getting shit done, not ignoring you. Vic is an honest man and doesn't hold back, he isn't going to sugar coat anything so be ready for that. Don't get your feelings hurt if he doesn't tell you what you want to hear, it happened to me once. He thinks purely in the best interest of your vehicle. He's also stepped up before when I got myself in a pickle trying to upgrade my own turbo. Helped me figure out the issue and didn't charge me anything. Just asked me to be patient while he was helping other customers of his. He'll always sound in a rush because he's got a ton on his plate but you can take your vehicle to him with confidence. Unfortunately, not too many mechanics out there will be truthful with you and is knowledgeable enough to explain your vehicle's problem. I've been going to Eurowurx for 3+ years now. Vic has done everything from oil changes to suspension, thermostat housing, pulleys, APR tune, wheels, clutch... It's really a one-stop shop. If he can't do it. He knows someone that can. He's also very fair on pricing. Then again, how invaluable is a mechanic that won't deceive you. I've called Vic up before when I've had an issue. He would walk me through the problem. Gotta say I'm a bit disappointed. Had a rear sway bar put on my kid's car for his birthday present. I guess one of the end links was broken, so I said go ahead and change both to make sure. The work was good, but they charged me $90 bucks per end link (just stock type). Seemed a bit expensive, so I checked on it when I got home. I was right, they were too expensive. Turns out, you can get them for less than $40 bucks a piece! I feel a bit used up, so I'm not gonna recommend them at this time... read more
