Amazing above and beyond service! I was stranded out by my vet's property with four dogs and a smoking car. We ended up getting towed to Edvin's and though nothing was promised considering it was 4pm already, my man Edvin stayed late (8:30pm) to make sure my car was safe to drive so that the pups and I could make it home safely that same evening. Really appreciate the strong communication and excellent service. read more

Edvin's is amazing. My mom came to them with her car that was breaking down, she was breaking down too. They went above and beyond for her. I came to them with my car, and although it needed a ton of updates, they gave me a detailed run-down of what I needed and how they were doing their best to keep the costs low. It was pricey (as my car was a mess) but I trusted that they had my best interests in mind. They even threw in some complementary services and extra advice, which I really appreciated! Thank you!!! read more

STOP! Visit Edvins shop BEFORE you make the mistake of taking it anywhere else! It truly will be a mistake. What an incredibly skilled and professional mechanic, Edvin is THE man you want looking after your family cars! 2 mechanics had looked at my truck for this issue, the day it died. After various tests, both determined my fuel pump was the culprit...claiming i had no easy way out, and i should take care of it quickly...$1100 was the offer. Truck is 2017 Ram 1500, at 75k miles. Edvin, right out of the gate, expressed his doubts as to fuel pump being the reason. After himself running a multitude of tests, and a few the other mechanics did not, he requested i grab a fuse at the local autozone. By the time i come back, my truck is idling, with a smiling Edvin next to it! Here is the difference between what Edvin did vs. what would have happened with the 2 mechanics i ran into. Edvin: Tell the man real problem. No matter if you lose out on business. Said 2 mechanics: Scare the man, put in new fuel pump, keep old healthy pump. Pocket Labor + part. Switch fuse out, send home. He might not come back anyway. Thousand thank you's and the best to your shop Edvin. Integrity is truly a rare quality, especially in business! read more

For the past year, I have been taking all three of my cars to Edvin for service and repair. At this point I wouldn't think about going anywhere else. No problem is too big or too small for him to tackle. He is up front with pricing, never tries to sell more, and has been timely with his estimates of finishing the work. A truly HONEST mechanic is hard to find. I will be going back and I hope this helps those looking for a good guy to work on your car. I'm new to this area and if you ever drive up and down foothill blvd, you know that there are literally 50 auto repair shops. I was looking for a place to replace my front brake rotors and pads while I'm at work. I usually do the repair myself, but now that I make my living using my hands, and cannot afford to injure them, I decided to have a professional do the job. I was referred to Edvin's shop by a friend and when I called and spoke with Edvin, I knew I was in good hands. As I mentioned before, I did a lot of the car repairs myself and I think I would know if this guy was going to be shaddy or not. I was satisfied with the conversation and the quote he gave me and so I took my car in for service. VERY SATISFIED with the work. Got the car done as promised, no surprises paid my expected price and on I went. read more
