For the price it's a good place. Especially if you have small pets it's good place to book for a night. Just for $15 per pet per night not a bad deal. Customer service is terrible. Check in clerk is rude, unresponsive and dismissive. Refused request for a 1st floor room, even when the hotel was obviously, 90% unoccupied. I was told that I should have requested the 1st floor room when I booked the room. My bank told me that there is no credit from this hotel. I am filing a complaint with AG office of AZ and will take further action. The hotel was decent for h0w much they charged for the night ($104) last Tuesday.The breakfast was as expected. Most guests probably ate early before 7:30 AM and checked out early. We were exhausted when we arrived and all we wanted was to get a good night's sleep. We had stayed at this establishment a couple of years ago so we decided to stay again. They gave us a room all the way at the end of the building and when we went into the room we found that it had not been cleaned and the bed was unmade. We had to walk all the way back to the front office to get a new room and all the clerk did was give us another room. No apologies...nothing. Not surprised as she was not friendly to begin with. Noisy rooms. Every move the family of 10 made above us was amplified by the new wood floors in the rooms. 3am and they are moving so I'm up as well. This reminded me how uncomfortable the bed was, like sleeping on a brick wrapped in a sheet. This may be the worst night I've had in many years. Have you seen that commercial where the people upstairs are clog dancing all day and all night without a break? That's who seemed to be upstairs from us. Even better, the toilet was not cleaned properly before our visit. How do I know? The underside of the seat told the story. The heads in the last highway rest stop were cleaner. Stayed for a night with my family passing through last minute choice. Convenient location off the freeway, walking distance to Restaurants and Safeway right next door (Starbucks inside!) Very convenient family friendly hotel big plus! Front desk could be more friendly as they are in the hospitality business. Otherwise very clean spacious rooms! Toiletries provided in bathrooms which was great bc we forgot ours. Swimming pool was clean older but well maintained. Kids enjoyed it! Good place to take a break and rest. It's a small town, but enough for travelers. There's Carl's Jr., McDonalds, and Safeway next door. Lauralynn, the front desk lady, was so helpful! She'd inform us of the open restaurants, fast food restaurants, etc. Also, she's super funny! She absolutely killed the first impression of the place. Now the room itself--- it was clean and big! We stayed on the 2nd floor, Room 236. The bed, table, and tv matches the pictures online. It was roomy! I've been to other hotels where you don't get what you paid for. Both ways so double paid. No indication of it other than asking for card for incidentals. They didn't 'catch' the double billing, I had to request and wait and still follow up again. On 3 of 6 properties. This tied up over $500 in funds for slow credits. Huge shame since the rooms were nice at all but 1 and staff was nice. They just opted to use my card to bill me and not tell me. Not even a receipt or signature or I'd have known sooner. This hotel was 15k pts. Should have been a 7500 point stay. Truly. read more

It's not a 4 star hotel by any means; but, instead of 3 stars I'm giving thisDays Inn in Wilcox, Arizona 4 stars fir making the extra effort to make my stay here a comfortable one. Although the rooms are dated, effort has been made to make them look nice with paint, nice bedspreads, and most importantly comfortable mattresses. The bathroom is dated and can use new tile work but compared to the last Days Inn I was in, the bath tub is in better shape and I managed to shower and feel clean afterwards. Bring your own shampoo because the sample size they provide is too small and very low quality. The WiFi works just fine here. This Days Inn is adjacent to a small shopping strip, gas station and a Safeway. There is a complimentary breakfast. read more

9pm raining with a handicapped driver. Empty parking lot. Clerk said I could park across empty spaces across from my room. Remember empty parking lot at 9pm on Easter Sunday. The maintenance man, Mike, countermanded the clerk and told me to move my vehicle across the way into a gravel lot regardless of what we were told. I asked why a problem was being created with a customer when there was no problem. Not satisfied Mike knocked on my door with Jaime the manager on the phone. She told me she was going to eject me from the property and keep my money. I told her I was going to contact Booking.com and report her actions on the internet. I did not take being threatened by Jaime lightly. I took photos of Mike as well as the rainy, completely empty parking lot. The rooms in this hotel are older and never the less the liens were clean and the room was clean. They offer a limited free continental breakfast as advertised, free coffee, juice, sealed breakfast rolls pastry, fresh fruit bananas or apples and sealed assortment cereal and breakfast bars. (under COVID protocols) Good customer service, and checkout was was nice to and welcomed you back. I don't think you could get better on the customer service. Small town and great customer service. So disappointed with this hotel. The gal up front who checked us in had so many people in line to check in. We were literally lined up outside. Her phone kept ringing. She was doing the best she could. She was still very friendly and answered all our questions but not having anyone to help her on a Friday evening was ridiculous. I posted pics of the floors and walls. They were disgusting. I'm not sure a really good cleaning would help it. The room really needs to be painted and freshen up. We were told that the floors were brand new but the asphalt tracked in made it look dirty all the time. There was long dark hair EVERYWHERE as were getting unpacked. The shower, sink, inside the fridge. I don't have long dark hair. Yuck! The linens were stained, old and frayed. There are two mirrors right together by our door. Weird to have two right next to eachother. So when the drapes are completely closed, people walking by outside can see the reflection in the mirrors of our bed. Even though we tried to close the drapes even more you could still see the reflection of us in bed from the outside. Maybe there is a reason why two mirrors are together by the door and window. We needed a last minute hotel because we were driving all day. I was a bit hesitant about staying here because of the mixed reviews but overall it was a pleasant stay. We asked for a room on the 2nd floor and one that didn't face the Interstate. Did not hear the sounds of the trucks on the highway and since we were on the 2nd floor, we didn't have to deal with any upstair noises (there is no third floor). The place is very well lit up. The breakfast was just ok. The rooms were clean. The refrigerator could have used a better cleaning but we really didn't use that. The mattress was too soft; i have a bad back and there was no support. But we were so tired all that didn't really matter; we were just happy to have a clean room and clean bed to sleep in. The hotel room was not properly cleaned prior to arrival. Someone's hair was left all over the shower, hand towel that was placed was dirty. Someone's pet had urinated on the floor so the whole room smelled of per urine. Floors were filthy and so was the little couch in the room, you could actually see the dirt stained all over it. The sheets were about the only clean looking thing in the room. Had we not gotten in so late at night with pets and an infant I would have left this place. Do not stay here. read more

My wife and I went to Willcox to see the Sandhill Cranes, and thought a night at a hotel there would get us out earlier. First, they had 2 rooms reserved - not one. Maybe my fault, but I don't think so. The clerk promised to straighten it out when the manager returned and would call me at that time. It never happened - probably because the phone in the room didn't work. Neither did the remote for the TV - nice, new TV which required a trip accross the room to manually change the volume, channel, or anything else. All of which pales when compared to the fact that there was no toilet paper - we used the tissues instead. Not to mention that the toilet, which worked fine, was not properly installed - it rocked from side to side. In short, you get what you pay for. This Hotel has bugs in the shower / Tub, on the night stand, bathroom sink. But the worst was when I moved a pillow there were several dead bugs under it! Smoker's Haven, non-smokers stay else where. After checking the Wyndam site for this Willcox, Arizona motel, we called to confirm that most all the rooms were non-smoking and we would be placed in a room FAR from the smoking rooms. When we arrived the same desk clerk, K was himself smoking at the lobby entrance. We witness him do this through out his shift. We were subjected to walking thru the 2nd hand smoke, breathing in what K just had in his lungs (gross) to enter the lobby to check in and the lobby smelled strongly of smoke. Since it was late in the day and we wanted to use Wyndam points we endured this offensive toxic greeting. The young man was nice, the situation of him AND the morning desk clerk on leaving both smoking at the lobby entry is ridiculous. Smoke breaks should not involve risking the health of guests or vendors. Thing is this is not breaks, this is a place to smoke while "working" the desk too, close to the phone... AZ law is no smoking 20' from doorways even on private property. Smoking guests smoke in walkways, with 2nd hand smoke being drawn in by the air conditioning units, forget opening a window for fresh air. Cigarette butts litter the entire property. NEXT - Non-working internet, called K at about 9PM again at 10PM as there were issues with the internet access, spotting - going on and off, 5 minutes on the off and this continued. K said the owner was not available to unlock the door where the modem was to reset it. ??? The owner and his unavailability due to his graveyard shift was mentioned? Why? Simply have working internet secured. In the AM again nothing at all for internet, the woman said oh sorry, we would be compensated for the lack of internet services. When we asked upon check out, new story only the owner/manager could do the compensation and she had no contact with the owner just then. We now realize both employees were lying, suspect the internet issues are very common and guest's are told these stories daily. We have made a compliant with Wyndam Corp and seek compensation for the lack of internet services promised, and the fact staff smokes at the lobby entrance. The recliner in our room was bottomed out and very dirty - interior of room in need of a refresh. + Is this is a pet friendly motel and our dog had a pleasant stay at only $10. extra and the rose bushes by the pool were in full bloom: lovely. Stopped here for one night with our 3 cats. Pleasantly surprised by all we get for only $74. The room is spacious & clean, bed is large & comfy. Fridge, microwave, ironing board, coffee maker, hair dryer. Lots of places to sit & relax. Large selection for breakfast. We were concerned there would be nooks & crannies for our cats to hide or get stuck, but it's super pet friendly, especially how there's no way for them to get under the bed. Traveling with kids and that's about the only thing they were looking forward to. This town has no kid friendly places. McDonald's doesn't even have a play set. DO NOT STAY HERE. First off there were huge spiders in our room and when front desk was contacted they came to kill the spider and did not offer a different room. Then when the sheets and pillows were lifted there were little bugs and the sheets were stained with little brown looking spots so front desk was contacted again and they finally offered a different room but at that point we just wanted a refund because we didn't feel safe(I have a baby) sleeping anywhere in those rooms knowing there was crawling bugs on the beds !! Receptionist said I'd have to contact the manager the next morning for my refund and so I checked out that same night all within an hour and the next morning i contacted management and she was EXTREMELY RUDE and did not give me my refund after I was told I would. Stayed here yesterday on our way to New Mexico and was beyond pleased. I knew checking-in that I wasn't staying at the Ritz and really didn't expect much. I stayed in a room with 2 full size beds for $53, which to me was great since I had no advance reservations. The room was clean and even had a microwave and fridge! In the morning we even had free continental breakfast. They had cereal, waffles, English muffins, sausage patties, egg, coffee, orange and apple juice. exceeded my expectations for a cheap roadside motel. Decent room with good showerhead, fridge, microwave, cold air conditioning (which was much needed for us driving in 108 degrees across AZ in june. They allow pets ($5 pet fee) and they have a pool but we didn't use it. they provide a cute little breakfast in the morning; toast, muffins, donuts, coffee, juices, cereal. small breakfast but saved us from having to pay for another meal on our trip. Awful, awful, awful DO NOT STAY HERE. Absolutely horrified by our experience of this MOTEL (not hotel) in Willcox, Arizona. From the weird reception at check in, to the thin walls and filthy carpet (our feet were black) and that was even after bathing. The staff were rude, unfriendly and discourteous. The whole place had a dirty, couldn't care less energy about it. When I went down to get breakfast I barely got a "good morning" from the front desk woman (a large lady with curly brown hair in a top knot and glasses) and I tried conversation but was met with a disinterested attitude. Then 30 mins later we get a call to our room telling us that we had already checked out and that we had to 'evacuate' our room in 15 minutes... even though I had not checked out or returned my key cards. The rude front desk woman lied and said I had handed in my key card. I had not. So when I went to finally check out at around 9:45am, I went to her, produced the two cards in my possession (to prove that I still had them) and told her that she shouldn't be using the word 'evacuate' to customers during a crisis (yes, this all happened while the entire country is in panic over the Coronavirus). I told her that the carpet was filthy and made my kids feet black and that all the cleaning staff were smoking whilst on the job. She just looked at me... no apology. I had to actually ask her to apologize to me, which she did reluctantly through gritted teeth. Miserable human being and a miserable establishment. The entire staff at this motel should be removed from working in the hospitality industry, because they have no idea what hospitality, kindness or service is. Call the desk and was told I could come and get a plunger or move to another room because they had no one there that could come up. Now, my wife has stage 4 lung cancer and doesn't move real well and I didn't want to put her through packing and unpacking again. Plus I DON'T feel I should have to pay to plunge a toilet. The night staff was great, unfortunately I don't remember his name. Very helpful and accommodating, we had an issue with the first room (someone had pulled the ac unit off the wall) and he was able to get a into an upper floor. However the owner needs to update all the ac units! The one upstairs was from the 80's and kept icing over so it would stop working. Needless to say it was a long mugging night! Other than the ac issues the room was ok, clean sheets, clean bathroom and a pool. The neighbor is sketchy, it is right across from Safeway and a run down strip mall with a discount clothing store.
