Let me share with you my experience,…read more Walter their salesman came out to give me a bid Once he found out that Home Depot had done the estimate already, he just used the amount of boxes which was about 80 for the estimate. He did no measuring or anything else. He was gone in about 10 minutes. (I needed only labor as I was purchasing the material from Home Depot.) Once we agreed on Price to have all the existing solid wood baseboard, removed the new floor put down and the baseboard put back. I agreed to the job. Pricing; I agreed on 50% down and 50% when the job was completed to maintain some control of the final product I'm very glad I did this. Their policy is to get 100% upfront, which I never recommend anyone for any service, ever do. The very next day after agreeing on terms with Walter, I got a call asking for 100% of the money I told this lady that's not what we agreed to and she said well that's what we normally do and I said you better call Walter. I'm gonna cancel the job. She did came back excepted 50% Overall, the subcontractors that came out from a company called Sun sunshine floors did a pretty good job putting in the material But it's the follow up , putting doors back on , getting trim put back on that was a real headache and took me almost 30 days to get done and also a threat of a complaint to get what I considered to be a very reasonable discount about $370 off my bill In the end, I fixed the existing problems myself because it was too much of a headache after they finally agreed to give me the discount Finally, a reminder again if you use this company, do not pay 100% upfront you'll have no control over the job over anything that needs to get fixed and you'll be working on their timetable, while they have all your money ------- Part 2 It's smart that Kelly took down her first knee jerk response to my above comment since is was inaccurate and not well researched. "Telling me I agreed not to leave public comment in agreement for the discount" -that was true if you accepted my generous offer.... the first go round. I'm going to guess that she finally got around to actually reading.... the 2nd email with my threat to file a complaint with yelp. Poof.....gone and replaced with boiler plate sorry we messed up and we should have done better. " Kelly, I wish you would have taken seriously my first initial complaint to your company and really taken the time to call me and find out what happened, Sincerely apologize, accept my generous offer and maybe even go a bit farther to make me happy and satisfied, If you had done so, we wouldn't be having this stupid engagement in the first place. Even after all that, I do hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.

I went into Carpet Exchange after shopping several locations. The sales person was awesome and…read morecredibly knowledgeable about their products along with all of the competitors products. We bought carpet and they had it installed in my house within 2 1/2 weeks. This was a special order carpet and they still made it fit our time frame. However there was a slight problem after the carpet was installed we noticed an area where the carpet looked shaded in part of the room. This did not make sense to us because the seam was one the other side of the room. I called and talk to the store manager she offered to come out to my house that very same evening to look at the problem. When she arrived she knew what the issue was right away. I guess when carpet is rolled up sometimes there is a problem called roll crush, where the fibers of the carpet go the opposite direction of the way they're supposed to. She explained this is a very common thing in carpet and if we leave alone it will go away in just a couple weeks. If waiting would bother us she offered to have our carpets steam cleaned within the next couple of days and the problem will disappear. I understand that problems happen on jobs. I think that the true integraty of a company come out when there is a problem on the job. How willing the company is to fix them when they do occur. I was incredibly impressed with the entire process. even though we had issues with the job this company gets five stars from me for showing that they actually care.

We spent a long time going through all the samples and had some questions but no one wanted to assist us. We felt like it probably wasn't enough money for them to bother with at a 1000 bucks so we decided to go elsewhere. There were plenty of people sitting at the front desk as we walked out. We did get the attention of one person that just stared at us but didn't even say a word. We went there a couple years ago and had the same experience and that time we gave 10k to a competitor. We tried them 2 years ago and spent 8k on carpet. Terrible customer service. They seem to be so big that they don't care if you buy anything or not. I can honestly say we will never go back. Seems to be a typical corporate thing. Take your money to another company who values you as a customer.

Even if it would take a day to respond to a question Bryam was very polite about it. I know this is a positive review for RMZ tile, but it may as well be a negative review for other contractors. If you don't respond to my texts, you're not getting the job. If your communication skills aren't good and you don't actually answer the questions I send you, you're not getting the job. Bryam's communication is what made me feel confident moving forward with him, and I was very pleased with how everything turned out. Onto the job itself, we got old black glass tile backsplash ripped out of our kitchen and replaced with white herringbone. Not only does it look great, but Bryam gave me some advice on which grout to go with to hide smaller imperfections in the mosaic tile alignment. His advice was spot on, and the new white tile with white grout looks a thousand times better than what was there before. Bryam and his brother Edgar did fantastic work, they were fast, efficient, friendly, and I honestly couldn't ask for a better experience. If I ever redo my bathrooms, I know who I'm calling.
