If I could give ZERO stars I would. Initially I was very happy with the service I received back in September. Unfortunately, after visiting this salon several times the service declined with each visit. This most recent visit being the worst of them all. I visited with my daughter, we both wanted gel manicures. The place was packed. We were put into chairs, then moved to other chairs. The nail technician gave me very little time to look at the color options before he began hounding me to pick something, and as we all know this is an important part of the manicure process as gel stays on for a couple weeks. During the "manicure" portion I noticed that he was acting like he was trimming my cuticles yet didn't (pictures attached). Nor did he shape my nails as requested. I immediately knew the color chosen wasn't going to work for me when he swiped it on. After the first hand I told him I didn't want the color and asked if we could put a different color over top. He said "No, that won't work" and continued. I then stopped him, asked him to take it off. He became very upset and was really manhandling my poor hands. After taking off the gel he told me it would be "$30 for her (referencing my daughter) and then mine". He brought my receipt back and had charged me $68! I asked what the charge was for, he said because I had changed my mind and took too long. He said if I don't like it I can talk to the owner. I tried explaining to the owner what had happened. She said "I don't have time for this". When I tried to show her the shoddy work she walked over to the register and wrote a $20 gift card. I told her I just wanted a refund for a portion. She said she can't refund. She also said "do you see how all these people are seeing you complain". I left. I went home and thought about it, I called her to ask one more time if i could have a refund, while on the phone she said "you are a bad person", "all you care about is money", "you are not nice". I was then told I could have a refund if I came in. I went in, she took the gift card and she put a blank spiral notebook on the counter and demanded I "fill out this document" I told her "I don't know what you want from me" she then started arguing with my husband saying that he had come in and threatened her, other patrons in the salon came to his defense and said he had not. She then looked at me and said "I change my mind, I'm not giving any money". At this point I called non emergency police to have it on record for when I report them to the State Cosmetology Board. I have been a client of Davinci for years and have never written a review but in light of all the negative reviews I've seen I feel compelled to add my views. I love this nail salon and I've been to MANY in the area before walking into Davinci and immediately feeling at home. I love the decor and the vibe of the salon. They have all the newest colors and products, and if you can't think of what to do on your nails ask the staff for recommendations. Everyone has been very polite and nice, and I've utilized most every member of their staff. For the people complaining about waiting for their reservation, when you go in at the busiest of times (before any major holiday) and the salon is at capacity just know you will have to wait no matter where you go, that is the reality of getting your nails done in the north suburbs of Indy. I will recommend asking for a specific staff member when making a reservation as that will ensure your waiting is at a minimum. Davinci is my go-to for a manicure. And it's always good. My only complaints are how easily the nails break. I get tip with dip every time and more than once one of my nails breaks the day of or the day after. but they make up for it by fixing it for little to no charge. another is how long it takes to get started on. I went in yesterday and had an appointment for one pedi for my mom and one mani for me. we were both sat immediately and my mother was started on soon after but I wasn't started on for another 35 - 40 minutes. other than that davinci is a great clean salon with great staff. read more

New to Fishers area from out of state. Today was my first experience at Davinci and I'll totally be back. Fair prices-- $26 classic pedi, $30 gel manicure-- with clean execution. Thought the salon was clean and welcoming. I believe my manicurist's name was Pam, and she did an awesome job! Be sure to bring cash (I believe you can only leave cash tips). Place seems to be clean and I've gotten Pedis from here for at least 3 years without an issue. The place is newly renovated and looks great. They don't have a tip line on their receipts anymore which I find annoying. I asked to pay for mine and my daughters pedicures separately so I could tip on each one and was told it cost them money to run a lot of transactions... Set up an appointment for 6:30 asked if I'd be sat right at 6:30. Walked in and told them I was here waiting for 15 but then girls who came in after who had an appointment later were helped first. There was like 6 girls. Said the girl's had the same time appointment but I overheard them talking and they did not. Still waiting another 15 just to get my nails done and about to walk out. Don't schedule appointment if you simply overbook and don't care about your customers. This is the absolute best place I have EVER went to for my nails. Top notch service to say the very least. The shop is modern, clean and well run. They organized/managed well so that there is minimal wait for walk ins when though I do recommend you make an appointment. The colors, styles and services they offer are fresh and up to date. Then I was moved over to the mani side and sat for a very long time until Matthew was assigned to me. I witnessed him being told to take me next snd he didn't look happy about it. He actually told me he had a scheduled customer but had to take me because THEY were running behind. Boy did he man handle my hands and rush. Had I not already had acetone soaking off my old dip I would have walked out like the woman that was seated to my right. I decided to give this place a second chance after a previous bad experience, mainly because the location is so convenient. Previously, I had called on a Sunday, asked what time they closed, was told 8:00, so I made a 6:00 reservation for 3 mani/pedis. When we arrived at 6, we were told, sorry but we actually close at 6, and the person made a mistake. But I decided to give it another try and I went in for a pedicure and gel fill. My pedicure was just ok, the girl doing it was obviously trying to get out of there. My gel fill was terrible. The girl doing my fill didn't even wait for the cycles on the lights to finish running. As soon as she finished one hand she had me pull it out of the light box. After one week my nails were chipping and after two weeks the polish was 90% gone. I won't be back again! read more

Terrible Service! Had a 5:30 appointment. I was immediately taken to pedicure chair - where I soaked for 45 minutes! When I ask how much longer (I also had a dip scheduled) Bobby, who I made the appointment with 2 weeks prior told me he didn't see an appointment for me (I had watched him write it in the book) They could have cared less, so I dried my feet of and left, as did two other women who had been sitting longer than me. I've been going to DaVinci Nails for nearly 2 years consistently- every two weeks. I never had a problem until recently. I called the salon and made an appointment with a specific nail tech, Ashley/Mai. I arrived on time for my appointment and after waiting 15 mins, I asked the owner, Annie, when she thought I would be serviced. A few minutes went by and Ashley came to do my nails, but with a very bad attitude. She told me that i "needed to be fair and give the other techs a chance to do my nails." Very rude and unprofessional. She continued to have an attitude and seemed very inpatient and in fact told me she was "busy" - like as if having to do my nails was a problem. (This is very confusing considering that i am paying money for a service that they provided, right?). When I asked Annie (again the owner) to jump in and help explain her employee's unprofessional and unprovoked behavior she respond that it was an issue between me and her employee. But the thing that irritates me the most is that I've been there about a dozen of times and even though I always received the same services (gel mani and pedi) they never priced me the same amount. My first experience here was amazing but unfortunately today really was awful. Chi was my nail tech and she talked to other nail techs the whole time and even got on her phone to look at stuff and then she made a phone call. She cut my nails super short and the picture I showed her what I wanted my nails to be isn't what I got at all. I have been going to this nail salon for over a year. Experienced great service from Cammie. My gel nail polish always has stayed on for over 3 weeks and the service was a pleasure. BUT, things changed dramatically on my last visit with the owner of the salon named ANNIE. The day before my wedding i spent over $250.00 at Annie's salon getting our nails done. Cammie was not there so I used a different person and they still did a good job, or so I thought. Just 10 days later, my gel nails all started peeling off one by one. ( I have never had this happen before and have been using gel nails for over 5 years.) So I called the salon and talked to Annie the owner. She told me to come in, which I did that day. BOY DID I GET THE SHCOK OF MY LIFE!!!! ANNIE, who seemed so nice over the phone, turned into the most UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS OWNER I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!! She was rude, mean, and a snob..... she basically accused me of lying just to get a free manicure. I walked out of her saloon without even getting my nails re done. I will never go back. I've worked for the same company for 32 years. My profession is customer service. So I know what it means to be a professional when dealing with people. This salon is solid. I rarely drive this far East in Fishers, but I was meeting a friend who lived in the area and she had a coupon for a $20 pedi. SCORE! We made an appointment; though I find that it doesn't really matter with salons like this. We still had to sign in and they weren't completely prepared for all three of us at the same time. That being said, we were given three seats together and the sign in process was easy. It was on a computer which was a first for me. I assume they are capturing that information and will begin sending me emails! Yay (not). I do not want to be spammed by a nail salon but maybe I'll get a coupon out of it. The experience itself was fine. The women didn't look up or speak to us which I always find to be a bit awkward and my sister complained of pain at one point, which went unnoticed by her nail tech. That is annoying. Overall, that was almost three weeks ago and I still have the polish on my toes, unchipped. They would get another half of a star for that. For $20, it was worth the drive and if I were in the area, I would go again. I doubt I'm back for any other reason as nothing about the salon was blowing my mind, but that's fairly typical. So my friend and I are trying to find the best place in fishers. Every time we go, we each have very different experiences so please take that into account. She was seated 5 min before me and her pedicure was going on well after I was done. So right away I felt a little slighted. My chair massager wasn't working but that was the only chair available. I had no idea Thursday at 4 pm would be so busy. I did think it was fun they had a princess area for pedicures for a girls birthday party or just a fun treat period. They have so many employees working at one time, I've never seen anyone wait longer than 5 minutes. This is hands down the best nail salon in the entire Fishers/Geist area. I have been going to this location for about a year now, and I am always very satisfied with my nails. The salon is incredibly clean and comfortable, the entire staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the polish selection is terrific! My nails used to be very short and unhealthy, but ever since I started to go to Davinci, they are now long and gorgeous. I have recommended this salon to all my family and friends.
