    For my second bridal appointment with DB, I visited the Paramus location since it's a lot closer to where I live. I saw DB had a few new styles online on their website that I didn't get to try during my visit in November, so I called the store the Friday before my appointment to find out if they had those styles in a size 8 so I could try them on. I was disappointed to learn after I arrived for my appt that one of the dresses they confirmed they had in stock in a size 8 to try on, they didn't! The associate working with me was very pushy. She wanted me to try on a bunch of different things despite me telling her I had already tried most of the styles on last month and they were not flattering. After exhausting options, I decided to purchase one of the little white dresses I liked the most. I tried on the style in a size 6, which was skintight on me - the associate was pushing me to order that size and had the alterations women come by to see as well. I insisted on ordering a size 8, which was the right size for me and needed very minimal alterations. I had no issues with the alterations department, except the fact that you can only go on weekdays for the appointment. They took in the top/chest slightly and sewed in bra cups and that came to $75. DB is quite rigid on dates/timelines. As soon as your dress arrives, they call you and tell you need to get there in 2 weeks to pick it up with an appointment. You can't come on a weekend to pick up your dress either - it has to be a weekday so you can meet with the alterations department. Pretty obnoxious when brides are already taking off all sorts of days for their weddings. The people who call you to make and confirm the appointments are kinda nasty / no enthusiasm. Just listing off a bunch of rules, etc. I also had an issue when I checked out/purchased my dress. I had already created a diamond loyalty account prior to my initial appointment in November. I gave them those details when I was checking out for the dress in December. There was a promotion going on at that time with 10% off little white dresses. Later that night when I reviewed my receipt, I realized they didn't give me the 10% off my order. I had to call back and leave a message and then bring in my receipt at my alterations appt to get the credit adjustment. Shame on me for not double checking it at the register, but shame on them for not honoring store wide sales and being sneaky about it. Lastly, the shopping plaza this store is in is pretty run down. The parking lot has giant pot holes and the actual store itself is quite outdated inside and outside. All in all, I am pleased with the dress and how it turned out for my Caribbean elopement but I am not a fan of this particular DB location.

    How ?! Summary do not shop here. Just how is it even possible now I'm convinced they just don't care ‍. This is part 2 on my 1st review we just got our Maid of Honors dress the wedding is 16 days away we place the order Feb 1st wanted to get alterations but that went out the window on how long it's taken to get her dress. They were kind enough to ship it to her since time constraints and now we will have to get it altered somewhere else in time hopefully and professionally cleaned. They did the un thinkable yet again stained the dress like what?!!! It's a has a big green stain in the front of the dress this is completely unacceptable!!! Why even send the dress if it's like that this is unprofessional behavior they will never get our business again I wanted to get an extra dress but no ty forget this. SAVE YOUR SELF THE STRESS & MONEY DO NOT SHOP HERE!

    We picked up my gown yesterday after the alterations department who put a super rush on it for us. The woman in charge of the alterations department gave us a miracle and agreed they could alter my dress right away. Just amazing women at this store, my personal seamstress was Safiye (beautiful woman in gray t shirt) she shortened the gown as well as did an intricate bustle in the back. She is the kindest, sweetest woman. She truly made us ( a much more mature couple) feel like young excited kids again! So welcoming and warm. Everyone here made us enjoy this much awaited experience! We can't say enough nice things about how this has worked out for us and the joy of the entire process. Also a BIG shout out to Stephanie, my stylist who made the process of finding the dress very welcoming. She is sweet and has a great future here. Thank you for everything.

    I had the most wonderful experience at David's Bridal Paramus location. I originally thought I would wear a simple dress to my court house wedding. I had just had a baby 3 months prior to my wedding, and had my board certification test two days prior to the wedding, so I really just assumed one of the four dresses I ordered online from other retailers would fit me and look flattering. This sadly turned out to not be the case. And also for a various number of reasons my family wasn't able to help me get ready for the wedding. So the day before my wedding I tried on the dresses and they all made me look and feel horrible. So that afternoon I made an emergency run to David's Bridal. I thought I would have to comb through the racks myself to find something I felt would work. But to my surprise they actually hooked me up with a stylist, Mollie. I actually entered the store crying out of stress and she was absolutely amazing, she helped me pick out the perfect dress in one try. My dress was sparkly and poofy. I felt like a true bride. I didn't expect that at all. It felt like a dream. I couldn't have been more happy.

    Really bad customer service. Makes you feel rushed. Shopping at Ross or Forever21 is better than this. Donna was eapecially bad.

    they don't take walk in's although although website says they do. A little disappointed but workers are nice
