They built 2 separate suit jackets to try to match my athletic build and both looked terrible and they agreed with the flaws I pointed out but said there was nothing else they could do. Total waste of time but at least I received a full refund since I never accepted the suit.

I was satisfied with the way the alterations were planned, but I set up another appointment once the suit was ready so that I could try it on before bringing it home, as it was my first time buying a suit with SuitSupply & the suit was for an important occasion. When I came back, I had a completely different experience from my initial appointment. I was briefly greeted by the associate who was meant to handle my appointment, as he was already standing at the front of the store with an iPad in hand. He then immediately turned his back to me and ignored me. I'm not sure if it was because of how I was dressed (more casual than the other customers in the store), so he figured I wasn't there actually to buy anything and thus not worth the time, or if he knew I was there for him and had hoped that, by ignoring me, I would go away. I had to physically get back into his line of sight to get his attention so we could proceed with the appointment. He seemed annoyed to have to deal with me. Once I was in the suit, he was still running around the store, bouncing all over the place, while I was standing there waiting. He walked past me several times, and at one point said, "I'll have time for you in a minute." Not in a normal, "sorry about the wait," sort of way, but in a very haughty tone that felt pointed to make me feel like I was an inconvenience for keeping him from the customers he *actually* wanted to help (the ones who hadn't spent money yet). I spent the time waiting to look at how the suit fit, and I was satisfied. I was about to take the suit off and leave when he came over to confirm what I already knew, basically. At one point, he pointedly let me know that the zipper of my pants was undone, which in the moment felt like another shot at making me feel inferior. He was with me for just a couple of minutes, rushed through the general talking points of what they look for in how a suit should fit, said the suit looked good, and that they'd get it ready in the bag, and I'd be good to go. I take the suit off, wait at the desk, and see that he's now on the complete opposite side of the store, pretending like he doesn't see me. After a few more minutes, a different associate comes by to help. She was nicer, but she was a bit condescending in the way she instructed me to make sure I didn't forget the tie in the pocket of the bag, as if she were talking to an idiot or a child. I don't plan on getting another suit from SuitSupply. I had a decent experience at first, when I was preparing to make a purchase. Once the money was spent, though, it felt like I was no longer worth treating with dignity. Overall, the vibe of the store was pretty miserable & I felt like I was made to feel lesser, as if I was lucky to be shopping there. never heard of Journeys until i was looking for a specific pair of Converse. walked into this store…read morethat is close-ish to Union Square. the pair wasn't in stock but the staff were very friendly & helpful and ordered the sneakers i wanted. the store itself is colorful, clean, and well organized...with rows of sneakers and shoes from front to back with seating to try them on. the store called me a few days later because my sneakers had come in. went in, tried them on and perfecto. the staff were just as friendly as when i ordered and made the pickup really smooth. overall, Journeys and their staff made this purchase so easy--look forward to shopping here again when i am in the market for certain color ways of Chuck Taylors or other sneakers.

I've been lucky enough to thrift some amazing pieces over the years, all genuine leather and in good condition initially. After multiple wears and nightlife events the damage slowly started to accumulate (some worse than others). But my love for these shoes kept me from tossing them out while I searched for the right repair location. I'd initially been quoted ASTRONOMICAL prices at different UES repair shops for the stiletto boots given how serious the damage was to the soles and heels, some repair shops saying they couldn't be fixed at all. I'd brought a pair of designer flats here recently to resole and the price was amazing, the shoes look and feel great, and the work was fast. When I brought him all these shoes I was nervous he'd tell me I'd have to throw some away, but instead he took them all and fixed them within the week!
