Asher Goods specializes in men's apparel, with a Pacific Northwest twist. This location is in the Redmond Town Center on the lower level. Well over that 20-year time period I can probably count on one hand how many times I walked out of there with something worthwhile. For one thing the store is always in a fair amount of disarray. The racks are overcrowded. Too many items where they just have one or two things and it's really hard to find what you want in your size. A lot of stuff on the floor and if you do find something you love you have to wonder if it was stepped on or rolled over by a cart at some point. The prices probably are more reasonable if you do find something but you really got to dig. The thing that really burns my hide is the line. It's been long often in the past but it could be worthwhile if you found something. This most recent time I went the line was ridiculous. I would guess there was 35 or 40 people in line and three cashiers. The people were lined up all the way to the dressing room. I expect this if I go in Ross or the Goodwill. Not Nordstrom rack. Never again. But I want to give credit where credit is due, the cashiers despite the crushing workload where personable and did not display any stress despite the obvious frustration of everyone staring at them doing their job. This was my 2nd dress as my main bridal gown was fancier, longer and with a small train so I can't dance in it. This pearl straps dress was just perfect, hitting at my ankle so I can dance in it. My daughter also scored a beautiful pink dress in the Spring of 2025 that she plans to wear when there's a special occasion.
